Later they issued the credit, but I should never have been billed for something they didn't have. Yes I got a credit, but if for some reason I cannot pay it off by the time the 0% financing ends, I will be charged finance charges for an item that they could not even supply me with. This to me seems illegal and at the very least, unfair business practices. Their credit card is always quirky and I have had to spend too much time trying to straighten things out. In addition, most of the employees stand around talking and texting and very few actually help you when you ask for it.

They can't make chipped car key duplicates so they suggested I got to Keaau ACE Hardware, I called ahead and they said yes. Once I got to ACE Keaau I found out that there are two brands of chipped keys, the machine for my Toyota chipped key wasn't working so I wasted my time out there though the staff was very nice and apologized.

I was on the hunt for Culantro plant for my mom. We searched all over while shopping for veggie plants back on Oahu. Excited, I asked my hubby to take me to the Garden Exchange, I could have walked over but didn't know it was so close by, one street over from the Farmer's Market. FYI- Parking is located on the other side/back of Garden Exchange not on the main street. I asked a kind staff to guide me to where the Culantro were and killed 2 birds with one stone, I also asked if they have any Hoya plants. I loved looking at the plant selection they have. I ended up with 2 Culantro and came across a beautiful Hoya plant on trellis and for such a great price, I had to get it. Happy with my Hoya plant and culantro for my momma during this visit. I wasn't sure if it would clear agriculture inspection back at the airport, but glad it did. Not sure why the low ratings but I loved my first time visit, I LOVE plants, staff that helped me were all so friendly. Garden Exchange is a well established gardening store, located in Hilo with history dating back to 1964. Make a stop here for your garden needs, super huge store! Also convenient hours as other businesses in the area have limited open times. On the general store side (front of the store), there are several shelves of canned goods, cookies, candies and other snacks. They also had bottled water, etc. There are also refrigerated and frozen food cases with milk, juice, ice cream, frozen pizza, etc. There is a also a pretty sizable selection of souvenirs. Convenient for the many visitors/tourists in the area. We didn't spend much time on the hardware side. We actually came looking for some firewood, but it looked well stocked with basic hardware items - like paints, tools, etc. Interestingly, the glass case at the front register was filled with smoking paraphernalia for those who are so inclined. Definitely a one-stop-shop for your smoking, snaking, gifting and fixing needs!
