Nick is excellent to work with, and definitely took any concerns we had to heart--for example we weren't quite satisfied with the first attempt at color matching our hardwood floors, and Nick worked with his flooring team to correct the issue all while being professional and understanding. Their whole team was excellent--kind, professional and respectful of us and our space and they really care about details. It is so refreshing to see they prioritize their craft in every part of the job--they really strive to do things right. Very high integrity crew. The other thing to note is cleanliness. They are absolute pros. During our renovation Nick's team cleaned the site before leaving each day, and they take every precaution to manage dust and minimize disturbance in other parts of our home. Even midway through demolition I was always impressed to walk into the house, see their progress and note how clean they make such a messy job look! I absolutely recommend working with M.C. So the first time North Park Design & Build step foot on to 3744 Grim Ave Condo Complex they were called in on a Balcony, AC sleeve, roof trim leak Job. Our 7 Unit Complex is 37 years old. So they were told by the board President to do a fast fix is the phrase that was used. Here are the photos so the first two are of the ceiling damage in Unit 3. The next photos are of the actual damage done in side the ceiling. Shawn did what he was paid to do, fast lamination fix of plywood & liquid/bondo and plywood. Then a smooth sheet rock patch job. Clean up was ok, but not spot on. Then some how Shawn talked the HOA board & President to bid for the stairway Job. The first give away is this yep page has no work history. No photos, no reviews, no customer letters raving about his work. They got the bid because they were the low bidder, word to all, never accept low ball bids. You get what you pay for! Here are the photos: the window pics are before, and after photos. All three window panels are damaged do to not being properly protected from the possibility of damage do to welding, and grinding from the subcontractor stair welding company. They were all told many times to protect the windows around the stairs. They bid the job at 15k plus, they forget plywood, in their bid for window protection. He told me he had forgotten that he had an event with his family and went on to say "I apologize for the inconvenience and frustration," instead of offering to come later in the day, he said that "I was free to go find someone else, and that he would not be upset, and to have a blessed day." The arrogance to say he would not be upset after we were awake since 6 AM preparing for a 7 AM appointment, only to experience a no-show with no call or no text, and this is the response you get. His service charge was very reasonable. Also had him provide a quote for a plumbing repairs job and he was able to provide a very reasonable bid. Unfortunately we couldn't use him because GC wanted to use his own plumber which turned out to be a very bad idea. We should have sub'ed out the work to Rey instead. Definitely recommend and would use again in the future.
