This restaurant is a hidden gem in Murrieta. It was our first visit, we had high expectations, especially as frequent diners at Din Tai Fung. I can say this place nearly matches the quality of Din Tai Fung. We ordered the following: Xiao Long Bao - Each Bao pieces were larger than I expected but were so flavorful. Pork chop fried rice - Definitely stood out with the flavor too, surpassing the competition. Despite the pork chop being slightly dry, both chops and fried rice were so good! Vegetable Wonton Soup with Udon - My favorite dish for reasons such as the broth was perfectly sippable, and the Udon was cooked to perfection, enjoyed even by my picky 2-year-old. Steamed pork ribs - A classic dumpling dish that was delicious. Pork and shrimp dumpling - We also ordered these but I'm not a fan of shrimp but my husband loved it. This is a great place to have a delicious Chinese dumpling meal with all the fixings! Service is great, staff is incredibly attentive, it's bright, clean, nicely decorated and best of all; the food is delicious and fresh! We had the soup dumplings (a must), the chicken/egg fried rice and we requested a plate of the steamed bok choy with some spicy sauce and they made it for us. Finally stopped in for lunch, on my way home from work. I ordered popcorn chicken (6-8 pcs), steam rice, and pork/shrimp dumplings (8 pcs). Both were yum, and I totally enjoyed it. Popcorn chicken was extra yum and was freshly cooked as it was still hot. It did have a little spice to it and was nice and crispy and very flavorful. I would order both items again! Clean and very organized setting, servers were nice, polite, and attentive. The only con I have is it's a bit pricey. $33, which included a $4 tip for LUNCH, and it was just for myself. We visited the sister restaurant in Loma Linda in February. We went there because my in laws live in Highland. They loved the fried rice and noodles there. Since they were visiting, we decided to go to their favorite place in Wildomar. The 2 places are very different in terms of space and building. This place is far bigger and there's more room for groups. This place has the best decorations. It is very fancy looking. The staff here are less busy and work harder. The food is pretty much the same here as in Loma linda. The Xiao long bao is good. The egg tart was very good, very flaky! The spicy wonton was a first for me and it was pretty good. The reason why I gave it a 4 star was the price. With inflation I don't think they can control their prices but it was a bit high. read more

I'm so happy to see we're FINALLY getting some amazing asian food establishments in this part of town. I've been living here practically my whole life (18+ years) wishing I had access to places like this and didn't have to drive all the way to Westminster or GG. This place is very spacious and I love that the tables are big that you're able to put a lot of plates down. lol Started with the red bean paste bun. This place exceeded my expectations because the food was fresh and well-seasoned. It's a cheaper version of Din Tai Fung. My favorites were the pork chop egg fried rice, popcorn shrimp, beef udon fried noodles, and fried calamari. All are 4/5 stars. The soup dumplings, steamed dumplings, fried potstickers, and pork steamed buns were all decent for 3.5/5 stars. The wonton soup was slightly bland, but adding soy sauce and chili oil resolved that, 2.5/5 stars. There could be a wait at dinner time, and sometimes a line is formed outside. We got seated right away and we filled out as much as we can on the piece of paper provided because we wanted to see which dishes were good... My FAVORITE dish is the PORK CHOP fried rice! I come here fairly often since driving to diamond bar or Arcadia is too far for soup dumplings or dim sum. This place is close to me. Fresh, salty, portion size good enough, greasy enough to satisfy my comfort food level fix. There are veggie options too for healthy eating. I have gotten the veggie wonton and veggie steam buns. Also delicious and freshly boiled or steamed. Service is very fast and to me- they seem friendly for an Asian restaurant.... Much nicer than diamond bar, China town, Arcadia, and even Riverside's place off university. Clean and booth seating as well as tables. Call ahead if you have a large party. Lots of specialty drinks and photos so you may order by photo. Staff speaks English. You may pay by credit card or cash. To go containers available too. I eat here about once every other month since they've opened and my bill ranges from 45-110$ depending on the number in my party- 2 people daughter and me or 3 people granny and my daughter. Slightly higher than diamond bar prices but a lot closer drive! I am okay with the 9-15$ per dish some are 23$ depending on the protein choice. This is not a high end Chinese restaurant where you will get bird nest soup for example so I am rating this restaurant for what it is- fast food in the inland empire. A LOT of hype for One More Bite in the valley here because we DESPERATELY needed a dumpling house... Some items we ate were GREAT And I would order over and over again, but there were several issues as well that made the whole experience questionable. When you walk in the front door, the host 's desk is about 25 ft away from you past 2 dining tables, and the host and waiter yell out to you their welcome message and ask how many are in your party. I would really hate to be sitting at the tables between you and the host. Everybody working in the restaurant seems to be working at an almost running pace whether it was from the kitchen to the tables or to the host or back and forth to the bar to get you water. The restaurant was well staffed, but I was really trying to understand why everyone was moving at such a manic pace. Definitely gave off an anxious vibe when trying to relax and enjoy a meal. I'll start off by saying the Handcrafted Pork Xiao Long Bao (soup dumplings ) were AMAZING! I literally wish I had them in my face every single day. My wife and I also shared chicken and corn dumplings and the chicken spicy wontons... I would definitely order again. The vegetarian spring rolls, garlic shrimp spring roll, fried sesame ball, and onion pancake appetizers were all great. I ordered the Thai iced tea with boba to drink and never any complaints there. There were two big ticket items here that really would typically be a deal-breaker with me and me not wanting to come back through... First, both times we've been here the fried rice was definitely not restaurant quality. It tasted like it's packaged stuff from the grocery store freezer section that you put in the microwave for 5 minutes, but wasn't cooked long enough. For example the beef in my fried rice was cold to the touch and after the manager on site verified it by pinching one of the chunks of beef on the plate she apologized and I returned the whole plate to the kitchen. What really bothered me the most was the leftovers at the end of the meal Andand how the waiter tries to grab your food and package it in leftover to-go containers. WARNING : BE PREPARED when you are done with your meal if you are wanting to take anything home... You may have to block the waiter from bare handing your food while they rush to put it in containers. The first time we came here that happened and we were grossed out and didn't take leftovers home. I was ready for it the second time we were here on Friday, February 23rd and had to block our waiter with my arm and had to tell him "no I've got it please" twice. Realistically, I would have given the whole experience only two stars here if it weren't for how amazing the soup dumplings and dumplings are. Definitely planning to go back here again regardless and hopefully these first couple times the issues were a fluke with the waiter and fried rice. I found out about this place on social media. Someone posted a video about a dim sum place in the Wildomar area. Not too far from where my parents live so I added it to my saved pile. One Sunday, my brother and I decided to check this place out for some dim sum. We typically get dim sum from LA or San Diego (when I'm in town) so we were hoping this place would be good since it's close to our parents' new home. Going in, they have a spacious place but it doesn't have the typical dim sum restaurant vibe, no food carts in sight, which isn't a big deal. Upon scanning the menu, you can see that they offer so much more than just dim sum and dumplings. They essentially had all sorts of Chinese food items and more. We chose to only order the dim sum items and to be frank, we were not impressed. The wraps were very thick and some of the items we ordered didn't seem fresh, most likely frozen. Very rude over the phone. I ordered the spicy vegetable wontons & 2 orders of the green onion pancakes. I asked if the wontons was a soup, she said no. I asked if the green onion pancake was a large portion, and inquired about the cost. She said it was $7.99 each order and the girl said, "when will you order? I do not have time on the phone". I said, "I am ordering now", & just got 2 orders, since she did not seem to have the mental capacity to tell me about the potion size. Turns out it was a pretty small portion and $7.99 was a bit excessive. Glad I opted for 2 orders instead of assuming that for $7.99 it would be a larger portion . The flavor and texture was great on the green onion pancakes. Overpriced but with that flavor I am willing to overpay. The wontons were too thick, I think they needed to be boiled longer. The inner filling was fine, but again, the skin was way too thick and chewy. They had good sauces though, which is key for wontons. The packets of chili crisp are good. When I came to pick up the food, the restaurant was clean, the decor was nice, and the seats were all full. A woman named Sunny was at the register and she was angrily bossing around all the staff. When I approached her she definitely had an irritated look in her eye. She finally gave me and my kids a big warm smile towards the end of my transaction, between frustratedly telling staff in Mandarin what to do. We tipped her well, understanding that she seemed overwhelmed. I assume she is the one who told me she didn't have time to talk when I called in. My food was ready when I came to get it, despite the restaurant being new and quite busy. I will be back for more of the green onion pancakes and to try the boba. I will save my appetite for wontons for the restaurants located in Monterey Park. I was excited to see this place open and had high hopes that the food would be comparable to similar type of places in OC & LA. Although a bit of a disappointment with the wontons, I am grateful they have a veggie option. I am sure there are plenty of people out in this area who have not been spoiled by the wontons in Monterey Park. I'm sure plenty of people will be satisfied with these thicker skinned wontons, I'm just super particular about them because it's my favorite dish.
