This place used to be the cleanest laundromat I'd been to in San Diego, and now it's just a run down cockroach infested dirty experience. It really sucks because It's a good location proximity wise to where I live. I was talking to a few other regulars my last night there and they all pretty much had the same consensus on the place now. The staff don't seem to care either. I swear if it's not a line of out of order signs down one aisle it's an employee with their phone out watching a show with air pods in oblivious to what's going on in the store. I'm not trying to get anyone fired either so I'm omitting those details. I will however say I miss the staff they used to have that really kept the place clean and constantly talked to customers always making sure we were having a good experience. I'd bring it up to the owner, but this is a constant trend no matter the time or day of the week I've gone in the past months of recent. So I'm sure they know and don't care at this point. It just really sucks to have to find a new place to do my laundry and to see just how much this place has fallen apart. Seriously bummed but I can't keep paying to try to clean clothes in such a rundown place.

Only hiccup was my daughter lives in an apartment complex the person doing the pickup got lost. I understand how many apartment complexes can be confusing. The person picking up and delivering was super cranky which made it feel like she was doing us a favor for a task she was being paid to complete. Maybe she was having an off day. Would still recommend as service was completely to our satisfaction.

The employee who helped me was so kind, attentive, and detailed -- she asked all of the right questions and handled my clothes with care. When I picked up my laundry, everything was perfectly folded, smelled super fresh, and was packaged so neatly, I even showed my friend (via FaceTime) because I was in absolute shock. You can tell they really take pride in what they do and care about their customers. If you're looking for a place that goes above and beyond with both quality and customer service, this is it. I don't relish leaving not-so-good reviews, but for what they charge I expected better service. 1. They lost one of my favorite Encinitas Surfboards socks. They paired my sock with a rando black Under Armour sock that IS NOT MY SOCK. If you lost my sock, please don't pair it with some random person's sock from ANOTHER PERSON'S FOOT. 2. The chest up to the neckline of every shirt in one of the bags of clean clothes had powdered laundry detergent sprinkled all over it. I'm sensitive to detergent and I don't know what kind of detergent it is. I'm hoping it isn't powdered detergent with bleach because the shirts are mostly dark colors. I'll have to have that entire bag laundered again. 3. Blue marks that appear to be pen marks on the front of a white shirt that weren't there before laundry was picked up. The shirt didn't fit me that great anyway so rather than trying to remove the stains I threw it in the trash. 4. When they delivered the clean clothes on hangers (which I didn't request, my order was to have everything folded) they hung it on my screen door with the pointy part of the top of the wire hangers pressing against the screen, which could have poked and damaged the screen. What they did well: 1. Fast turn around time. Only took one day! 2. I like all the options when you order, and how easy the ordering process is on their site. 3. Impeccably folded and organized by category in separate bags, which makes it faster to put away. P.S. If Freshly Folded did your laundry and you have my Encinitas Surfboards sock, I want it back. Unless you wore it. Then you can keep it.

This service is absolutely worth every penny…read more As a single woman, I have no idea how I've accumulated so much clothes, linens, pjs, etc. I probably have about 3-4 laundry baskets full of dirty clothes at all times. And thats of stuff I don't even wear or use on a regular basis. I hate doing laundry. Absolutely hate it. Let me rephrase. I hate communal laundry. Having to check to see if the machines are free, making sure I have quarters, setting a timer so Im not leaving my stuff in there too long after. Enter Refresh. I thought I'd try it out once after a vacation. Maaaaaaaaaan my clothes came back smelling so good I felt like I was in one of those commercials. Not just that but my clothes was so perfectly folded all I had to do was pull it out the bag and transfer it straight to my drawers. I needed to wash some linens but had two bags so figured Id just do another bundle, these bags can hold SO much! And the great thing is if I have some delicates I can just put it in the zipper part of the bag and they'll air dry it. It's been about 3 weeks and that shirt STILL smells heavenly. They're super communicative throughout the whole process and have excellent rates. Will definitely continue to use their services!!!
