A high quality restaurant would have done it without putting me in the awkward position of having to ask. They would have just done it because serving a frozen dish is just kind of embarrassing ... especially on the Amalfi coast where they take so much pride in the quality of their cuisine. His excuse was regarding other guests and only gave 15 minutes extra. During our stay, we didn't see more than 6 other guests during the morning, afternoon or evening - what other guests? Plus no one was trying to check-in when we left. I don't see how it would have harmed the hotel if they let us stay a little longer. Restaurant - We had the breakfast included in our rate here, as well as a late lunch. For breakfast they include traditional Italian items like cornetto, ham and cheese.
