I have been blown away by the service provided by One Day Tree Service. They visited my property on multiple occasions to provide an opinion and estimate on a few complex tree issues impacting the property. We ultimately decided to use them for tree trimming and root pruning. They have been extremely communicative, punctual, and professional. Justine in the office is exemplary in her role. Oscar and Juan are great to work with, providing honest and reliable guidance and the highest level of professionalism. I will continue to use this vendor for all tree related services. read more

I've been working in property management since 2017 and I very much recommend working with One Day Tree Service. Quality vendors are hard to come by and these guys ticked many of the necessary boxes for me. Their communication was professional and responsive, the pricing was competitive and the final product was excellent and completed on time. We'll definitely be using them again and recommend you do the same! read more

We had to remove a palm tree damaging our retaining wall as soon as possible. I actually found them working on my neighbor's property, and their work there looked nice and clean. I met Oscar and he was able to give me a quote on the spot. He gave me a fair price and got it done a few days later. They also arrived earlier than expected. Very satisfied with the service and I will contact them again if I ever need tree services. read more

The guys did a fantastic job!!!! They were skilled and careful as they removed our dying giant tree. Thanks, Oscar, for masterfully supervising each step. Thank you all!!! read more

Glad I found One Day Tree Service! We've had a overgrown guava tree, another bush tree, and an old tree stump that kept growing fresh limbs. They quoted my dad a very reasonable price including their senior discount, which cost us $550 in total for cutting two trees and de-rooting them, as well as de-rooting an old stump, and hauling/disposal. Other places quotes $1200 and $750. I sent them the photos and they quickly assessed how much it was going to be. The day we needed their service, they came early.... were very cordial... and fast!!!!! It literally took them 35 minutes from the cutting, de-rooting and disposal. They hauled it all out and cleaned up the area nicely. Ivan and his crew were communicative the day they came and didn't waste any time. Thanks One Day Tree Service, appreciate your service. I'll be calling again for future tree services. read more

We hired One Day Tree service to remove a couple trees, trim back some very thick shrubs and also trim back a large tree. We chatted with Jose on a Saturday, got an immediate quote, and were in their schedule in less than a week. I thought the rate was extremely reasonable, and I love that this is a small, family run, local business.. The crew was super professional, quick, communicative and did all the work just as requested. Plus everyon was super friendly. Would definitely recommend and we plan to hire them again when we need more work done. read more

This is the second time I've used One Day Tree Service, and each time has been fantastic. Not only did they do great work, but their customer service is terrific. Great job and a reasonable price! read more

I have used the folks for years in South Pas Garvanza (neighborhood business!), and just this last month they showed up for above and beyond. I am in the process of moving from my house in 90042 to Mom's house in 91030, and her yard was terribly overgrown, again, because my Mom has dementia, so that's why I am moving there. One Day Tree was fast, amazing, and exactly what they have always been for me: prompt, professional, and priced right. I knew that from the many years I had used these folks, at Mom's and my house, but this time they were simply amazing: they came, the chopped everything down, and they cleaned everything up. It was a real gift to me and my mother as we begin another chapter, and I am so thankful for the help from this wonderful company. Sincerely, Jenny read more

This company is TERRIBLE!! We asked them to trim our trees as it's encroaching onto a neighbor's property and they completely killed out tree line! There are now holes in our tree line and they refuse to even admit they did anything wrong! I wish I could give them negative reviews! They breached our contract and completely lost our trust. We are now pursuing legal actions against these crooks! NEVER use them, they are so terrible! Oscar is the WORST person I've ever had to deal with. Completely defensive, combative and didn't even try to talk to me like a normal person when I lodged a complaint. read more

I used this company for tree trimming. They were fast and efficient. They covered the swimming pool to prevent debris from falling into it and cleaned up thoroughly. And the rate was reasonable. read more

It was a pleasure working with Jose , it's the second time and they remove 10 tree within 2 days. super professional , easy to talk with. Highly recommend! read more

I'm incredibly impressed with One Day Tree Service. We initially contacted them to assess two trees we were considering removing. Oscar came out promptly, provided a clear and professional assessment and estimate, and helped us move forward with confidence. We also decided to have a canopy trim done on a tree along our fence line. Scheduling was a breeze, and we had an appointment set within the week. On the day of service, the crew arrived (1 hr!) early and finished the job faster than you could say, "One Day Tree Service." Their prices were very reasonable, especially considering the level of professionalism and quality they deliver. I couldn't recommend them more highly. If you need tree care, make One Day Tree Service your first call--you won't regret it!! read more

The communication and work were great. Very timely... we got a quote yesterday and the work was done today. The crew showed up one time and completed all parts of the job as agreed upon. We paid $2100 for major trim of a large pine tree, shaping of 4 citrus trees/bushes, trimming of 4 cypress and a bit of minor drip system work. My issue is how they managed the 15% coupon we had. Once the work was complete and the final invoice was sent we presented the 15% off coupon and the company refused to honor it. They stated that we had to present it before paying the deposit. Seems a little strange to me, not really sure why it would have made a different if we presented before or after the deposit was paid. As repeat customers seems like honoring the coupon that we had saved just for this job was probably the way to go. read more

One Day Tree service - Pine tree after trimming. We asked them to trim it back as much as possible without killing it. - Tree Services Near Me - Los Angeles, California

Quick and efficient work. Great job done as promised. I was very satisfied with the service provided.

We had a tree partially fall after a night of rain and needed to get it cleaned up. One Day Tree Service was quick, professional, and reasonable in cost. Very happy to have all my tree needs addressed so quickly and so well. read more

These guys are amazing! I have 54 ficus trees on the edge of my property that I need to keep trimmed to 12 feet. This is the third time One Day Tree Service did the job. No one has done it better. Four workers swept in this morning, a few hours later the trees are perfectly trimmed on tops and sides, all debris bagged and carted away. Can't speak highly enough about One Day Tree Service! read more

I hired one day tree service to remove a monster of a palm tree I had in my backyard. The guys did an outstanding job and knew exactly how to handle the dangerous job. They got the job done in a timely and efficient manner and left everything very nice and clean. The owner provided great customer service, he listened to my needs and over delivered based on my expectations. The pricing was very reasonable and gave me the peace of mind of knowing they are an insured company. I highly recommend them. read more

I more than recommend these guys and encourage you to get a quote; the quote you get is more than the service they provided. They are professional courteous and respectful of my property and my neighbors. I leave on a hillside and was worried how I can get the pine tree that has been planted by my parents 30 years ago removed since it caused damaged to my back fence. Specially with the recent rain and trees toppling around town it had to be done. I will let the video and picture speak on how tough the job is but these guys came above and beyond outstanding. If I can give them a 10 I will perhaps I can write two reviews. Kidding aside do not hesitate to do business with them. Locally owned but world class service. read more

Tree removal and stump removal. I had originally requested service late 2023, went back to my email and found the original quote on business website. I contacted Jose and he was able to find the quote. Jose said the quote was still good and he can schedule the service, I paid the deposit (online), and he emailed me a few minutes later and said he had an opening the next day. I took it and his crew came out at the appointed time and date. Antonio and his crew were quick and moved anything that could be in harms way when removing the tree. The tree was down and two stumps removed all withing 20 minutes. Clean up and filling the holes included in that 20 minutes. I would recommend ODTS. Thanks again Jose. read more

My only regret is not taking the time to review this fantastic company sooner. One Day Tree Service has serviced two of my homes now (places with vastly different needs tree-wise) and both times they knocked it out of the park. The owner Jose is communicative, kind and on top of it when it comes to scheduling. Scheduling, logistics, and payment have always been super easy. Oscar has always been the guy to come take a look at our needs in person, and generates the quote. Oscar really knows his stuff! He is generous with his knowledge, and answers any question we have. Then the crew: AMAZING. All the guys work hard and never sacrifice quality or detail for speed. (But they're also VERY fast). This week, One Day Tree Service trimmed our palm trees, privacy shrubs, and ivy, then, most importantly: removed 3 pine trees that were over 60yrs old, with invasive root systems cracking through a brick retaining wall, concrete wall between our house and the neighbor, and our foundation. Needless to say, the trees needed to go, and we couldn't break the bank to do it. Like the 3 previous times we've hired them, their prices have remained fair! Also: they did all of this in less than 4 hours. All in all, One Day Tree delivered once again! read more

These guys are the best at what they do. I have had them over to my home 5 times in the past 4 years that I owned my home for different projects and clean up and they do such a fantastic job. These guys did a wonderful job trimming our tress, worked very fast, and charged us a great price. Great service at a competitive price. Responded to my request quickly and completed next day. Trimmed tall palm tree.

A tree fell on my house during the recent windstorms in January. I got several quotes from tree services but not much commitment on when they could get the tree removed. I had used one day before, and they came through again with a day that worked. I'm a repeat customer who is happy with One Day Tree Service's attention to detail, care, and speed. They showed on time and did great work. read more

They came out and provided me with a quote. The person who came out was very knowledgeable and thorough about the work that would be done. I felt like the quote was fair. We have two big Chinese elm trees that required a major trim back and smaller jobs that included trimming giant birds of paradise and removing a bush and dead palm fronds. Jose and his team at One Day Tree Service were quick to respond, communicated well with us, gave us a fair price for the work, and made sure we were happy with the work plan, estimate for each piece of the job, and results. When we needed a follow-up, they were professional and true to their word, returning without extra charge. Excellent service! read more

Removing our tree was a big and complicated project, and required the use of a crane. The team did a fantastic job with the tree and cleaned up all branches from our yard and the next door neighbor's yard as well. They arrived exactly on time and finished quickly. They also went above and beyond to help direct traffic on our street, which is very much appreciated in this neighborhood because our streets are narrow. read more

One Day had to cut back a lot of trees on my property. Once they did, I had to paint replace and paint the fence. I think it was a decade of overgrowth. When I felt they hadn't cut back enough, they were very responsive, came back out to review and then sent their guys back the day after to fix the issue. No complaints. Because of their professionalism, I had them repair my fence. It's a different part tor the company. Less responsive. The guys were a no call no show, but when they came they replaced my fence and fixed the issues. read more

They were fairly priced and communicated well during our initial planning phase. During planting, they planted the plants super shallow so many of them ended up dying. We also requested to have the plants wrapped in chicken wire to increase their chances of survival against the gophers. My husband had to fight them on it to replant the ones they had already done. You need to do some supervising to make sure they do what they said they're going to do. 2 years after our project, I contacted them to come out to fix a few things. After confirming the appointment, they never showed up. read more

I had a 12pm appointment scheduled today. I even confirmed via email this morning to make sure they did not forget since I had taken the day off from work. In the email reply, she changed the appointment from 12pm to 12pm-1pm. I was ok with that since most service appointments provide a time range. It was well past 1pm when nobody had showed up. I emailed and also called and left a voicemail to see if they had cancelled without notifying me. The lady called me back and stated that the workers were running late because they were stuck at a difficult customer's house. She proceeded to tell me that they would be at my house at 2pm. So, it's well past 2pm right now and nobody is here. I don't know whether to cancel the appointment or let them show up whenever they feel. But I am writing this yelp review in the mean time. I wish they had the common courtesy and professionalism to let their customers know what their appt status is because I had a lot of errands to run today and I certainly could have used the time. I am totally understanding of appt delays and cancellations because things happen. However, it is upsetting when the customers are not provided the necessary updates and are forced to wait in wonder of what is going on. UPDATE: it's 3:20pm and I had no choice but to cancel because it was getting to be too late. How disappointing! read more

One word describes this company and that's 'Professional'. I had used them before about 5 years ago to do some tree trimming and was pleased with the results. Unfortunately, I needed to remove two ficus trees that were growing into electric power lines and were too much for me to handle constantly trimming every six months or so. The quote I got from them was very reasonable compared to another company that did a similar job for my parents' place which was outside of their service area. The person who came by to give me an estimate was on time and was able to give me a verbal estimate and then followed up with an emailed official estimate after he got back to the office. Getting a time scheduled for the job was hassle free as well and when a change had to be made, finding another time to get the work done was easy. When time came to do the job, there was a team of about 6 people with two large trucks(one for all the necessary equipment and one for the debris) and a wood chipper in tow. One person was on the chain saw and climbing into the tree and cutting off manageable segments and the team below was clearing the debris and feeding the wood chipper. When they finished, the place was raked clean and all the sawdust was swept away. Fast and efficient! Highly recommended again! read more

One Day Tree service - This monstrosity left of these two formerly beautiful trees is the work done by One Day Tree Service. - Tree Services Near Me - Los Angeles, California

After a shaky start, these folks did a solid job and I would hire them again. They gave us a two-hour p.m. window to come cut back our overgrown fig tree, but an hour and a half after the window closed they canceled because it was getting dark. This made me a little nervous since we'd already paid half up front. Then there was a mixup about that payment, requiring a few texts. Cut to new appointment, a week later, this time first thing in the morning. They arrived right on time, made sure they knew what we wanted and promptly got to work. They removed all the branches and did a great job cleaning up the patio over which the fig, now domesticated, hangs. It was all over in a couple of hours. And they were nice about the missed appointment. read more
