This was my first time here and the whole QR code ordering system felt very strange to me. There's no traditional menu. You scan the QR code, place your own order, and pay through the phone. I'm sure it's efficient but I felt like I was doing all the work myself. This also made me wonder what exactly was the 20% tip for. As for the food, I was not impressed at all. We ordered the pork Xiao Long Bao which tasted almost identical to the BIbigo brand! It was definitely not what I was expecting from a restaurant specializing in dumplings. We also ordered two orders of sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves and they were tiny portions and just ok. The biggest disappointment was the shrimp and pork shumai. The wrapper was dry and kind of hard and the filling was mediocre. We wanted to try some other dishes but because all three dishes were disappointing, we didn't want to risk it. Maybe we ordered all the wrong things but based on our meal, can't see returning here.

We had been here a while ago and came in tonight for dinner. There were three of us and we shared the pork and cabbage pan fried dumplings, the Kung Pao Tofu, Shu Mai, Shrimp Hagow and pork chow mein. Everything was just amazing!

Nothing like some hot egg drop soup on a hot day! The soup dumplings cannot be skipped, great dough to filling ratio. You order everything (utensils and napkins) via QR code so very minimal interactions with workers, an introverts delight!

Order at the table via QR. Contactless or mobile payments only! We got the spicy fish filet in pickled mustard greens, pork char siu, and pork xiao long bao. All delicious! We actually ordered the spicy fish filet "less spicy" but that turned out to be no heat. Soup dumplings were great and we were able to ask for ginger as well. Staff were pleasant and helpful and helped to describe the dishes. We also ordered some items ToGo from our table and just made sure to note which items.

Exceptionally good food and good service despite being very busy on a Sunday morning. Parking can difficult as there's a lot going on in this strip mall

This place is great but could be better. Just a couple things for you all to know. Pretty much.... They get points for food only. I went here the other day to take my daughter out to lunch, and got to try their dining experience. 1. You pay and order on your phone and the staff JUST bring it to you. That is sort of lame, it removes anything human about your experience, it also asks you to T.I.P. prior to seeing if the "insured proper service." Whatever. 2. The food. Delicious and authentic, but the vibe is synthetic. AND!!!!! 3. The young woman that work there need to watch their language, and because of society right now, I feel odd correcting them. That being said, my daughter doesn't need to learn the f word while learning what "bao" is from her father. Do better. This is not for the community.

We tried this place based on Yelp reviews and sadly, I was not a fan. We ordered several dishes and none of them wowed me. I'm usually sensitive to salt but I had to add soy sauce to the Garlic Bokchoy, because it was bland and not garlicky at all. The shrimp and pork siomai lacked flavor and the mapo tofu was nothing like I've ever tasted before (it had a weird taste). The shrimp hargow and Mongolian beef were also just okay. We spent $90 for lunch (including tip). The employees were friendly and courteous but based on food and overall experience, we will not be returning to this place.

3/10/2026: The weather was a little cooler and Momma Kiki was craving Asian food.. One Bite Dumpling for the win! I can't put enough description under the images but let me tell you about the soup that I crave and can't get anywhere else unless I go to San Gabriel Valley. This is a MUST try! If you're a fan of full flavored foods. It is the best, most unique "new to me" dish I've tried in a long while, and this is my fifth time ordering because I am completely addicted! Listed under ENTREES instead of soup, the first time I ordered I expected a platter with fish and pickled greens. When the bowl of soup arrived I was confused, but once I tasted it I was NOT disappointed! It's called Fish Filets with Pickled Mustard Greens 酸菜鱼 on the menu, the Chinese name is suan cai yu for those who know. Tender fish fillets simmered in a bold Sichuan chili broth. Sichuan peppercorns produce a phenomenon which the lips and tongue feel as though they are vibrating and go slightly numb - known as má. I order mine "less spicy" and it still has a little heat but just enough to be tasty, not to bring the pain. Regular is a little spicy for me and the "Extra Spice" must be for the real heat seekers. You can also request them to add their rice noodles to the dish if you're feeling slurpy.. it's delicious either way! The other dish, the Eggplant with Garlic Sauce is new and I'd get that again, too. Let's be honest I haven't had anything bad yet! But be adventurous and try the Fish Filets with Pickled Mustard Greens. Get a bowl to share with your table! Your tastebuds will thank me.

While looking for something different for lunch, we happened upon seeing One Bite Dumpling in our Yelp feed. One Bite Dumpling (一口香饺子坊) is a casual, family-owned restaurant just off I-5 at the Lyons exit in Santa Clarita. The restaurant's interior's layout did not give a great impression, however by the name we could tell the food was exactly what we were looking for. The restaurant is known for its on-site handmade dumplings and dim sum. The menu features a variety of dim sum and regular Chinese dishes, including many vegetarian and vegan options. Ordering is via QR code using one's phone or tablet. The menu is easy to navigate. If there are any special instructions when ordering, write it in the open space provided, and they will accommodate. If you can not access, or prefer not to order this way, the front counter person would be happy to assist in placing your order. One Bite Dumpling only takes credit or debit cards. No cash at this time. While service can be hit or miss, the food was definitely worth the trip and another visit will definitely follow.

One Bite Dumpling in Santa Clarita is such a gem! Everything we ordered was full of flavor and clearly made with care. The chicken dumplings were juicy, perfectly seasoned, and had that satisfying bite with each mouthful. You can really taste the freshness in the filling and the balance of flavors in the wrapper. The spicy eggplant was a standout dish. It had just the right amount of heat, rich sauce, and a soft, melt in your mouth texture that paired beautifully with the other dishes. The lotus leaf wrapped rice was comforting and aromatic, with the lotus leaf adding a subtle fragrance that made it feel extra special and authentic. Great food, solid portions, and a welcoming spot that delivers on quality. If you're craving dumplings and flavorful Chinese dishes in Santa Clarita, One Bite Dumpling is absolutely worth a visit. We'll definitely be back!

All their weekday lunch specials come with hot & sour soup and an egg roll. I had to get their signature spicy orange chicken which is tangy and perfectly crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. It's seriously such a great deal with the amount they give you. Even their dim sum items are discounted during lunch too so I got all my favorites like shumai, radish cakes, green onion pancakes, string beans, and even the rainbow xiaolongbao sampler which is basically Russian roulette for you to guess the flavor of each. But the real sleeper on the menu are the sweet & spicy corn ribs. Love the nod to the Asian taste profile, and it's sooo satisfying to eat! Thanks for reading! ^-^

They have a decent happy hour menu, with lots of food and drink options. We came just for the food which was mostly just bland. The cucumber salad was refreshing and good, the spicy chicken wonton tasted flavorless like spicy was the only flavor we all had one bite and couldn't finish. My favorite thing we had was the egg rolls which were pretty basic but good. The hot and sour soup didn't have much flavor to it either? The broth felt a bit bland to me. We ordered a lot of little bites off the happy hour menu, and saw the food tables around us ordered and it looked a LOT better so maybe there's not as much effort for happy hour food? But not sure I'd come back to try the rest. Was also slightly disappointed with the service. Despite it being pretty empty the service was slow. They were slow to refill our drinks and I saw tables get sat and get drinks before our coke was refilled and we were ignored a few times.

No, I don't want to order dim sum off a kiosk screen and have a teenager bring it to me. That's the authentic dim sum experience we've lost sight of outside the San Gabriel Valley! There are two other nearby locations also under the A&W name, but those ones don't seem to wheel the cart around and focus more on standard Cantonese dishes, and it gets confusing navigating here because one of the others is also on Reseda! You want the one near CSUN, trust me. This place is a madhouse on Sundays, as most traditional dim sum establishments are, but a ghost town on the other days; they didn't even have the lights on during my recent weekday visit, presumably to save on energy? Everything, and I mean everything, was so delicious. One of the best dim sum places I've been to. The pricing of the items ranged from $8-$10 per item we ordered which is expensive but as a treat every once in a while and for the amount of time and effort that goes into making dim sum, it was worth it. I've tried making dim sum at home and it is so hard! Pricing breakdown: $8 items: - har gow (4 pcs) - siu mai (4 pcs) - black bean spare rib - pan fried turnip cake - egg custard $9 items: - chicken feet $10 items: - shrimp rice noodle roll I think they no longer have the tripe on their menu anymore bc I couldn't find it on their online ordering. Also their chili oil was priced at $0.98, which was kind of small, I would do without it next time. ---- The parking was really tough, luckily I had another person with me drop me off then I ordered and then we double parked waiting for it to be finished. The inside of the restaurant felt like an elevated dim sum place, things were neat and a darker ambiance which felt more intimate if you decided to eat in. We took ours to-go and it was still so good! ---- Overall: if I'm ever back in Pasadena I'll be sure to stop by for dim sum, classic dishes with an elevated taste, pricey but worth it
