Convinced they were legit I completed their CONTACT US email form describing the landscape work I wanted them to price. In case the guys wouldn't check the inbox for internet contact emails I decided to call the office and Cameron, one of the owners, answered. He said that he had just seen my contact email and we discussed the work I needed. Because it was a landscaping job he said he'd have his business partner, Brantley, call to coordinate an appointment. I understood that he'd need to look at the work before giving me a price. Its been 8 days since the initial contact and still no call.

Unfortunately, they showed up with no dolly and no tools, and appeared inexperienced. At one point, one of the loaders was standing around. When I asked what he was waiting on, he openly said, "I'm waiting on the dolly"--which turned out to be my dolly, not one provided by the company. That moment really highlighted the lack of preparation and professionalism. When you confirm expectations in advance, it's reasonable to expect they'll be met. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here, and it added unnecessary stress to an already demanding moving day. I even called the person dealt with during the booking and asked that someone bring the crew a dolly but that request was not met. I am certainly glad I did not book this company for my entire move as the movers that unloaded my U-Haul (in Dallas) were absolutely superb for same cost.

However, I called and spoke with someone on the 9th, 11 days before commenting through this app. He asked what I had to move, did it have stairs and where was I moving from and to where and also asked what date I needed you for. I told him the date that I had to be out by was the 30th and I could be flexible as long as it was by the 30th. He informed me that someone would be contacting me back with a price and date at that time. I never heard back anything by phone and even tried calling again with no answer a couple of times. I then posted through this app with the project scheduling on the 20th, four days before your defensive comment back to me, without an apology, I might add. If I could give zero stars for this company I would just on the basis of you not offering an apology for my experience and getting defensive with me when I'm just posting my experience with your company for others to be able to make an informed decision based on reviews. This isn't personal, I don't know you. I just simply did not have a good experience with your company.

I have been ignored by their claims department after three months of calling and asking for help. I've been promised calls back time and time again and never got one. Today when I called again, I was finally told my claim was denied because too much time has passed. I'm not sure why I wasn't notified that it had been reviewed. I was offered a good-faith payment of $300, which is unfortunately just a fraction of what I spent replacing my damaged items. The movers were unprofessional the day of as well -- they charged me incorrectly, stood around texting half the time to drag out the clock, and then asked me if I use recreational drugs. I hate to be that person writing a nasty review, but I am extremely disappointed with their service all around and I hope this helps keep others from having the same experience that I did. My one-bedroom move went over budget, damaged family heirlooms and caused me to have to replace my entire bed and mattress... and the company's customer service chose to ignore me and hope I went away instead of helping me resolve this. Last time I moved before this I used American Eagle Moving for a much more difficult move and they were fantastic. Their guys were quick, professional, and did not cause any property damage. And if you didn't forget, see the ketchup stains, one mover, intentionally squirted ketchup all over my furniture in my bedroom as there's no other way to explain it. Update: I called again today 10/1/25. Line just rings and puts you on hold as nobody answers as usual. All my sons has my contact information and can call me at any time to try to get this resolved however they refuse. This is not good customer service and the lack of concern is ridiculous given my situation. My items were damaged some intentionally as you can see in the pictures showing the condiments spilled all over my master bedroom on the second floor of my new home. The Birmingham branch is not a moving branch, they pull from the Montgomery, team. This means your move won't start until almost lunch time. Also, the furniture wrapping and care was less than Ideal. much of our nice wood furniture has damage to the corners. they did not bother with removing shelves in bookshelves, so we are missing pegs that fell out during the move. Also, our corner desks had customized hardware to put together, and that hardware is gone in the wind now. We were told that the entry ways and what not would be protected so the movers did not accidentally damage doors and frames, but that did not happen. They stacked too many boxes on each other, crushing the lowest boxes, and some of their contents. It began to sprinkle during unload at the new home location, and there were cardboard boxes being removed from the truck, and set on the driveway, and left there for 10-20 minutes while they moved other boxes. You would think you would only grab out the boxes you plan to take directly inside so they don't get soaked, but we have some personal items that have been damaged by sitting in the wet boxes, in the rain, for several minutes at a time. One of the movers did not have a good attitude, the other one was nice enough, but it was hard to understand what he was saying. Overall, we would not hire Pink Zebra again around the Birmingham, AL area. Maybe other locations have been luck being in a town with an actual moving team and not just the franchise office location.
