We rented a 4 person Polaris Razor and had the best time. Even brought the dogs with us! Definitely going to do this again!

Book with caution. Some advertised claims are not accurate, and you may be on your own. Summary of…read moreour experience in late Sept 2024: We reserved a 2 person Honda Talon S2 ATV the day prior and a follow up text was provided. I let the business know we were new to the area and just wanted an easy trail to see the fall colors. I was assured that the trail recommended was a good fit and they said maps and waypoints would be provided (also stated on the website). We arrived 10 min before the appointment time (7:30 AM) and there was no one there. I texted the owner and then they sent someone who arrived just before 8:00 AM. The employee (Christian) would not provide us any maps or waypoints for the recommended trail. He said it was simple to navigate, well-marked and no maps existed. We argued about this, but he said he could do nothing. I have done many off-road trails in places like Moab, Utah and California, waypoints based on mileage or simple maps are always provided. In the end I took his word. He said it was a large loop of about 30 miles and easily done in a half day. My concerns: - The employee told us he would take 10% off for the late release at 8:20 AM and add an extra hour to the rental. I did not look closely at the receipt since we were in a rush and noticed later that we were charged full price which did not include stated discount. - The tow vehicle had an 1/8 of tank of fuel - not enough to cover the tow distance. We had to waste time to fuel it on the way to the trail head. - The ATV was not prepped for us. Dirty, dusty, muddy. - As suspected, the trail was not well marked. There were at least 4 unclear intersections with some markings (like #200, 200A) but this is meaningless without a map. I could not download a map myself the night before. One turn led us up a 3 mile dead-end spur to a radio tower. - We checked in with the person that rented the ATV to us, showed him our location on GPS and he said we were fine. - A few miles later, we ended up at a dead end at a fire road about 20 miles from start. The employee told us we were in the wrong place and told us to back track all the way back (vs. an intended loop). - We missed our return time but were not charged extra. The ATV was mechanically good, high quality and newer but clearly not prepped for a new customer. We saw amazing fall colors. The duration of trip was longer than we expected and had to rush the return since an expected loop turned into an out-and-back. We didn't feel heard when dealing with the employee. He also did not honor the discount and said to call the owner about the fuel cost and concerns. Two email attempts were made to the owner (Carlos), and he never responded. Their service did match their website or phone conversations. I find it nuts that they will send a visitor into the back country without maps and make you feel stupid by claiming 'it is easy' and 'super well marked.' These areas have limited cell coverage, and you will be on your own if you get lost or have a mechanical issue. I would not use their services again - horrible customer service.

He tried to make us and the other groups checking in feel like idiots. He was rude and not helpful at all whenever we had questions. Not sure if he was having a bad morning or if that's just his personality, but he definitely needs a lesson on customer service..Especially whenever you're spending $450+ on the day. The owner, Carlos was SUPER nice and helpful and made up for it but he needs a new employee checking people in. The trails and UTV ride were amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed the day after we got checked in and got going. But again one person can ruin the whole morning!

It was 3 of us, including my 8-year-old son, and the conditions couldn't have been better--just a little snow, some mud, and plenty of opportunities for big splashes (which my son absolutely loved). We did a 5-hour rental, which felt like the perfect amount of time to explore without feeling rushed. The equipment was in great shape, and even the truck used to haul the ATV and trailer to the trailhead was well-maintained--everything felt professional and dialed in. The team really made the experience stand out. Everyone we interacted with was fantastic, and Andrew in particular was a superstar--he handled both checkout and check-in, made everything easy, and clearly cares about making sure customers have a great time. We'll definitely be back, especially to experience the trails in full snow. Highly recommend all around.

Everyone working here was friendly, informative, knowledgeable, and provided excellent recommendations for what trail to choose. They suggested we log in to CoTrex so we had access to the off road trail, which was very helpful. They also had us scan a QR code with directions to the trail, which made the whole process very seamless. We got a side by side for 3 hours and went to Pole Hill. It was a lot of fun. The trails were great and it also had amazing views! We also saw a fox on the trail. You can tell that everyone working there loves the outdoors and that they all truly care about giving all their customers an amazing experience! Highly recommend this place!

It's a bit tucked away and I was glad to have my AWD SUV. If we were driving a low-profile car, I'm not certain we would have been able to get back there -Dress for the weather/experience. The guide requests to keep 20 mph or under and the wind is going to hit your face and hands. If it's snowy/muddy make sure you're wearing boots because the snow is deep when you get off in places The trails themselves were super fun. However, when we were there in early February, all the trails weren't open. That's perfectly reasonable from a safety aspect but something to keep in mind when you book times. We were had done every available trail multiple times by the end of our two hours. (Two people). The guides mentioned you can get off the ATV and walk around and/or do some light hiking. However, there were quite a lot of people enjoying target practice so we did not do any exploring or go to far off-trail. All of the marksmen/women were safe and responsible but I wouldn't advise hiking around in case they can't see you. We had a really amazing time and the drive to and from the mountain is beautiful. I would definitely go back and do another ride with them.

When you arrive to…read moretheir store location it's about 30 minutes of admin stuff before you load the buses to head for the launch point. You fill out the wavier paperwork, get a speech from one of the workers, and go through the line to your life jacket and paddle. They also have shoes for rent if you need them. The bus ride to the launch point is about 30 minutes. The staff do their best to keep everyone entertained while your on the bus; telling jokes, telling you facts about landmarks, and the local area. When you get to the launch point it's about another 15 minutes before you get on your raft. They go through another 5-7 minute speech about the water, how to maneuver, and all the safety stuff (just in case crap goes wrong). Then they split you up into groups and you load the raft. We truly had a blast on the raft and I never felt like I was at risk of injury, or unsafe through the entire ride. From start to finish it was about a 2 hour trip; but it went by really fast. I could have rode the river for at least another 1-2 hours. It was super chill and some of the rough waters (class II and III) didn't last long but made the ride very exciting. We did stop for about 30 minutes at a point where you can jump off a cliff. There is a 25 foot cliff as well as a small jump spot for kids (my 4 year old jumped from the small spot). I did go up to the 25 foot jump (along with about 30 other people). Jumping was not a problem at all because you walk up to the edge and simply walk off for the jump. They don't give you anytime to look around, think, or get scared. 30 people jumped off in less than 7-8 minutes. It felt great!! The ride back to the main store was much shorter; about 15 minutes. Overall we had a great time and it was well worth it.

Be prepared to be paired up with other families who may talk your ear off and miss commands from the guide. That got a little frustrating since we were literally there to raft only. The scenery is gorgeous and they are accommodating. be prepared to pay extra for anything, of course, as per usual. they also ask for tips which is understandable, so be prepared for that. the bus ride out to the river is long and uncomfortable when sitting next to people you don't know. extroverts' dream come true, but again, if you don't like having your ear talked off, you may want to avoid.

They have a strict age requirement of 14 and our 12 year old made that a challenge. Having done class 3-4 at Royal Gorge I would say this did not disappoint. It was constant and continuous adventure. I would have loved to kept going longer but like all good things they do come to an end. The 1.5 hours was mot too short either don't get me wrong. If you are scared of the cold don't cheap out--get the extra gear to make your experience better. My wife and kids did the gear. Since we were here in July in the water at noon I toughed it out. Don't vet me wrong it was cold and at times what I would have done to be warm. I feel the cold splash is a part of the experience. Sitting in the front I was also glad for a pair of sunglasses. They say this is some of the best rafting they have had in awhile. What really made this exemplary was the staff. They made you all feel like family. Zak in particular was our favorite. He gave the right balance of safety and firmness needed for a guide. He also helped my 70 year old mother in law work through her fears and continue with getting in the raft. She was reluctant as she only has one hand. Zak calmed her and gave her options. My kids also loved the bus driver Max. Not so sure they loved him ao much it was more his dog Willow.
