My daughter and I visited Fun City last month while we were vacationing in EP and it was an okay experience. Most things here are run by young foreign college kids that work here during the summer, which I think is pretty cool; and they were all nice. They have prices for each thing you can do: go-kart's, bungee jump thing, arcade, rainbow slide, etc... But when they give you your card, the full money amount is loaded onto the card, not an entry pass to do the activities. So if you put $10 for the arcade and one rainbow slide ride ($3) on the card, you have $13 on the card. If you spend too much money at the arcade, you have to reload your card with the amount you need for the rainbow slide, (as an example). It's probably a marketing ploy so you spend more money; so you really have to mentally keep track of how much you spend. I just wasn't a fan of that system. They advertise a BIG arcade, which it isn't. The rainbow slide is classic but is getting rundown a bit. The Bungee Jump thing was pretty cool though. All in all, not sure if we'll go back when we revisit EP. If we did, it would probably be because of the rainbow and the bungee jump apparatus. read more

Me and my family had an amazing time when we visited fun city. All of the workers were amazing and it was very family friendly.

Don't waste your money here. $53 for 2 adults and a passenger on the go carts, 4 slides, and 2 bouncy things. $65 for an unlimited pass which is more expensive than a day pass to Elitch. The slides were slow to the point they got stuck and and to scoot to get to the next hill. The blue twisty slide was closed for unknown reasons which led to a disappointed 6yo. There was one staffer more concerned with his cell phone conversation than assisting paying customers. Their arcade was laughable (not that we intended to use) and only a handful of games. After all this negativity, why did I give 2 stars? Because even though it was painful to the wallet, my kids still had fun. However, next time I will visit their competitors. Years later we're back and had to visit Fun City again. Still fun but you can tell they have let some attractions go. The miniature golf is a family event for all ages. But the water features weren't even on or filled. Looked like there may have been issues with the plumbing so they didn't bother. The bumper boats are always a hit and the time of the ride lasts a bit so it's worth the fun. But there's two water jets for onlookers to be able to use for $1 each. But both were out of service (looked like permanently). I'm pretty sure it was the same when I was here in 2016 The big slide is oh so fun. But it's old. And really looks it. The bumper cars had several ropes off because they were out of order but not removed from the building. So you had to bump around them. The building with the arcade was new, clean and modern. The go cart cars have been replaced in recent years. So it's not like they let the place go. They have added a few new things like the inflated ball that you roll around the pool in and some big carnival game that looks like a wasted investment (they don't staff it, you have to go to the ticket counter to ask someone to come over). Yes we had fun, it takes up a few hours of your day. I just think some things could be better maintained. read more

Our family went to have fun. We rode the go carts and found it to be very unfun. My husband, son, and granddaughters were seated and no one was around. They sat for at least 10 minutes before other people came and before the others were seated it was another 15 minutes. All the time breathing in fumes.. I complained and he said they had to wait for others. By the time they rode they had at least 15 carts on the small track for less than 15 minutes. Not good at all! read more

This is a simple amusement park on the edge of downtown Estes Park and is a great option if you are looking to spend a couple hours with young toddlers up to young teens (and is pretty fun for adults too). They have a bunch of options, including the giant rainbow slide, bumper cars and boats, go karts, trampolines, mini golf, and arcade games. You only pay for what you want to do, so you aren't getting charged for stuff you or your kid can't or don't want to do. Our 2 1/2 year old rode the slide about 15 times, and also rode the go-karts with my husband. He was too young to do any of the other stuff, but these two activities made him pretty happy - and as a bonus, the rainbow slide is one of the most affordable options at $2 per rider. We spent about $35, which was reasonable considering it provided two hours of exercise and entertainment, and our son had a blast. If you are in Estes with kids, I would highly recommend stopping here. It is different than most of the other things to do in Estes, and provides a nice change of pace for kids. They have a private parking lot, and we were there on a very busy weekend with great weather, and still only spent a few minutes in line. read more

We had a very positive experience at Fun City for multiple reasons this past week. Our group (age 1 to 73) visited this place twice on our recent vacation to Estes Park and not only did we have a blast with all of the activities, but the staff went above and beyond to help us when we had a problem. My husband's car keys slipped out of his pocket on the go carts. One of the workers diligently searched the car after we discovered that they were missing, but they were not immediately found. My husband also searched it awhile later and when we had finally given up and assumed that they had been lost somewhere else in the park, a manager and owner came to the rescue. They insisted that they wanted to try one last time to locate the keys and actually picked up the heavy go cart and disassembled the bottom part of it, revealing them in the bottom of the car. I have been coming to this amusement park since I was a child and highly recommend it for the mini golf, bumper boats, go carts, rainbow slide and the arcade games...as well as the incredibly helpful and caring staff! read more

Place is run down. I rode the go karts and during the entire ride my neck hurt from no shocks and the bad track. Every time I let off the gas or slowed down my kart shook so badly. Next day I had a bunch of soreness in my skull / neck from the 5 min ride that I couldn't wait to be over with. I felt really out of it for an hour after driving the go karts. read more

We had a great time a few hours and about $50. Make sure you bring extra sunscreen!! We bought the $100 card that comes with a $20 bonus. We were told they don't expire for 5 years, but and are pretty sure we'll be able to use the balance easily. We used about half of it for three of us to do the slide half a dozen times, bumper boats, race cars and water balloons. We arrived around 10:30 and there weren't too many people there, so not a lot of wait time, but as the morning progressed, so did the crowds. The slide was a hit. Great for kids to go alone or with an adult if they're a tad nervous (kid or adult). It is only $1 a ride. The bumper boats are an old standby with water shooters. We had a pretty good time on those. If you're not all riding, they have water shooters on the perimeter for observers to participate. I do think it's possible to reach these from the boats, so be forewarned! The go carts were the most expensive element we participated in, but the ride time is quite long, so I felt we got our money's worth. Careful on the middle turn though. I think 4 different cars got stuck on our run. My daughter was the most excited for the water balls. You step inside a deflated plastic ball and they inflate it with a leaf blower. You step intao very shallow pool and learn what it's like to be a hamster. I didn't see any adults in these, but kids young and old had fun trying to walk on water. read more

We have played miniature golf her every year for 8 years since coming to Estes, my wife always looses and she is determined to win one day. The place is looking a little aged now, hopefully they will be able to stay on business. I am giving them 6 stars because of their staff, especially today. Fun City is an attempt at a mild theme park with slides, bumper cars, bumper boats, go carts, mini golf, bungee/trampoline jump thing, and small arcade. Not bad overall, but here's a few highlights of what we did: Mini golf - two courses. Pros: Both course are attractive with fountains and waterfalls - one course crossing over the river. Mini golf is almost always fun anywhere you go and it was enjoyable here. Cons: like a lot of things in Estes Park, not a whole ton of upkeep to the course. A lot of the carpets are dented up and ripped and many of them don't look like they've been cleaned in a great while. This is unfortunate, because it makes the course look less attractive with the mountain scenery. Another down side is they don't discount you for playing two games. So, for our family of 4 it was about $50 to play both courses. Giant slides. Pros: the slides are massive and about 4 stories tall. They cost $1/person per slide down. They go fast and are fun. Cons: the employees here are currently only 14 - 16 year old boys who are rude and seem to have superiority complexes. They don't seem to understand just kindly directing people and answering questions. One kid was ridiculously rude to our children and even my husband and I. When I mentioned if to the manager at the counter he just kind of shrugged it off, and said "yeah, it's that time of year when they're getting ready to go back to school. I'll talk to him". But yeah, all in all cases considering that this is one of the few places in Estes that offers something to do that doesn't directly involve enjoying the mountain or some type of consumerism/eating. It wasn't bad for what it is. The price point is their down fall, which is quite bloated to say the least. read more

Been going to fun city for 40 years. Went as a kid and now bringing my 4 kids here. Brought friends in town and had a terrible experience. After a misunderstanding about closing time (on a beautiful summer evening), the owner/manager was rude to our children and atrocious to us adults when inquiring about closing time. He couldn't have been more awful. One employee who was there was trying to make it work for us but couldn't do anything because the boss was so combative. Grace has been given for the last year for covid, but this didn't pertain in this instance. And while i want everything in Estes to survive and to support local business here, i won't be going here again. It's a shame. read more

We visited Fun City recently with family from out of town. This has been an iconic destination in Estes Park for years now. But we had a really unpleasant experience. The staff was not at all accommodating and hardly spoke English. They were short and unfriendly and it was clear they did not care about the wellbeing of the customer. During the bunjee trampoline an older man was not considerate of personal space with my teenage daughter, she felt uneasy and unsafe so she ended early and we quickly left. Rad old school fun! This place is right out of my 1980s childhood and did not disappoint. I was able to take my 3 year old daughter on her first bumper boat and go kart ride on the same day for about $20. What a bargain for memories we will have forever. A bit disappointing as the young staff was uninterested in make our experience the best it could be. Race cars was great, fun experience + good help, but not the same with bumper cars, water ball & trampoline jump. Our 13 year old twins both did the jump & had totally different help & totally different experience. One helper made the jump fun, & encouraged bigger jumps & flips. The other acted like he was troubled by being there at all. His jump was shorter, & uneventful. Didn't instruct very well either. Very poor signage as well. Kinda confusing of where to go to get your card swiped for each activity. Very expensive for the poor overall experience. read more

We went during COVID where only half of the employees were wearing masks or following any sort of sanitary requirements. Fun City has absolutely transformed over the past couple years. I've been coming here since 2004 and you can tell the new owners have put a lot of money and time back into the place! They have brand new go-karts that me and my kids loved and the park was just in amazing condition - very clean! I went in to get on the giant slide as I was visiting out of town, which before purchasing the tickets I asked if it was open , the lady said yes . She Charged me , Then I had to walk like 5 min to get to the slide. Then they tell me it was closed , I did not verbally say anything bad, how you describe your comment. just because you the manager was a bad worker didn't want to give me a refund, I said how can I not get a refund if it's because of the employees stupidity, how is that any harm . Just one word , the way you are trying to reply is so funny , to say I was saying worse things, you mad bro and saying I would do more like , bro you got scared for nothing. I also called the cops and they told me they already knew how much of scammers that place is, they did not want to get involved so I don't know where you got this story of them getting involved. They did tell me When I called because they are self owned they couldn't do anything, they suggested for me to write my review here and Call my bank for my refund which I got , so there you go! I even told cops what I told you and your co worker . They said I was right for my frustration they understood. We had a GREAT time at FunCity! The kids needed a break from hiking and loooved going on the GoKarts and playing by the nearby stream. We forgot my daughter's stuffed animal and the owner was kind enough to ship it to us! The staff was so kind, and I definitely recommend a visit with the kids when in town! read more

The rainbow slide was what we came for and it was simple and fun! This place is super old school and kind of run down but I liked the ala carte approach. You just pay for what you want to do (they give you a prepaid card that they run at each event). So it was simple to get in and get out. My kid loved it! We visited fun city in estes park for a fun afternoon with the kids. My son was so excited to bungee trampoline. As we were in line the lady who was jumping before us rope broke and she had a tragic fall with blood gushing from her head and her kids screaming in fear...the staff was still going to let kids jump beside her. They had no first aid kit and wanted her to drive herself to hospital. Accidents do happen but the way it could have been handled could have been much better. This review is specifically about the kindness of one of Fun City's employees, Kevin. I showed up in the morning with my 6 month old and 4 year old son who was desperate to ride the gigantic slide we had driven by a few times. I wasn't able to escort my 4 year old myself since I had the baby, so Kevin was kind enough to quickly volunteer to take him himself. It made my son's day and meant the world to both of us! We've driven so far and beyond on searching for a family fun activity and trip and when I was younger, we usually planned lovely trips that require us to drive quite the distant and miles. Fun City in Estes Park was indeed my fa pier place to go forth and explore. They have everything and I do mean everything! They have these large colorful, rainbow filled fun slides where you and your family and friends can slide down (preferably with bean bags as I do recall) you buy a ticket or token and the nice staff at the counter with the smile on their faces, will be more than happy to give it to you. They have rivers, rocks with silver, gift shops, boat rides, picnic tables, and lots of stops where you can fill up on gas. In my opinion, this is one of the worse go cart places we have been to, and we've been all around the world. We know the rules behind the so called "bumpin" and "reckin" as they say there. Apparently love tapping someone is bumping but our children were no where to bumpin each other. I would never come back to place, and waste my moneys worth on something this ridiculous. We usually spend all week going to the fun parks for the kids to enjoy themselves. Never ever have we seen such disrespect from employees, after questioning why our kids ride was shortened. Then as to ask us to go back and watch cameras as if we weren't watching them drive the whole time, but never showed us footage of them warning of bumpin. Wasn't concerned of the hundreds of dollars left on our fun city card that we didn't use, but the disappointment in our children's eyes of them being accused of something they didn't do. read more

Skip the 18th hole and just go play on the next course to get your money's worth. No one is paying attention anyway. There are kids running around and people jumping randomly from hole to hole cutting in front of you. The course is okay, but if you're looking to play mini golf just go a couple miles up to Ride-A-Kart. It's not as packed and the courses are funner, much nicer and better maintained. Also, I know the Estes Park Brewery next door may look tempting, but I beg you please at all costs avoid that place. If you must go in just do the free sampling of beer and leave, but DO NOT subject yourself to the food or service. read more

Great fun for our group age 4-65+. Slide, bumper boats, super slide! Unexpectedly great way for kids to blow off some steam.

I would only go if you have nothing else going on that day at Estes Park and are not scheduled for an emergency root canal. While I am used to tourist traps this place takes the cake for trying to nickel and dime you to death. For example, most places let 2 years and younger ride for free with an adult, but these guys charged me for taking my 1 1/2 year old daughter on the grand slide, even though she can't slide by herself. Also, in a strange twist the teenagers running the slide, bumper cars and other activities were more helpful than the adults selling the tickets. When one of my crowd had a injury on the slide the older staff were unhelpful, and condescending when we asked for help. We had 4 injuries of friction burns out of 5 kids. Bring an EMT with you cause that is all the help you'll get while there. One of the older staff in the slide area mentioned how tired he was of dealing with parents and kids. If that is true then why is he working there? If you were to visit, the bumper boats: 7 bucks per person, the giant slide 1 buck per person and the car racing 7 bucks per person are the best activities. read more
