We randomly ended up at Fun City while filming a YouTube video "Things to do in Estes Park... That Are Actually Fun" and it was the best decision ever. The slide was way faster than it looks, and the go karts were so fun!! But the real surprise? We did the bungee jumping and it was SO much fun. Felt like we were flying. I didn't expect to love it this much, but now I seriously wanna go back and do it all again.

Years later we're back and had to visit Fun City again. Still fun but you can tell they have let some attractions go. The miniature golf is a family event for all ages. But the water features weren't even on or filled. Looked like there may have been issues with the plumbing so they didn't bother. The bumper boats are always a hit and the time of the ride lasts a bit so it's worth the fun. But there's two water jets for onlookers to be able to use for $1 each. But both were out of service (looked like permanently). I'm pretty sure it was the same when I was here in 2016 The big slide is oh so fun. But it's old. And really looks it. The bumper cars had several ropes off because they were out of order but not removed from the building. So you had to bump around them. The building with the arcade was new, clean and modern. The go cart cars have been replaced in recent years. So it's not like they let the place go. They have added a few new things like the inflated ball that you roll around the pool in and some big carnival game that looks like a wasted investment (they don't staff it, you have to go to the ticket counter to ask someone to come over). Yes we had fun, it takes up a few hours of your day. I just think some things could be better maintained.

This is a simple amusement park on the edge of downtown Estes Park and is a great option if you are looking to spend a couple hours with young toddlers up to young teens (and is pretty fun for adults too). They have a bunch of options, including the giant rainbow slide, bumper cars and boats, go karts, trampolines, mini golf, and arcade games. You only pay for what you want to do, so you aren't getting charged for stuff you or your kid can't or don't want to do. Our 2 1/2 year old rode the slide about 15 times, and also rode the go-karts with my husband. He was too young to do any of the other stuff, but these two activities made him pretty happy - and as a bonus, the rainbow slide is one of the most affordable options at $2 per rider. We spent about $35, which was reasonable considering it provided two hours of exercise and entertainment, and our son had a blast. If you are in Estes with kids, I would highly recommend stopping here. It is different than most of the other things to do in Estes, and provides a nice change of pace for kids. They have a private parking lot, and we were there on a very busy weekend with great weather, and still only spent a few minutes in line.

We had a very positive experience at Fun City for multiple reasons this past week. Our group (age 1 to 73) visited this place twice on our recent vacation to Estes Park and not only did we have a blast with all of the activities, but the staff went above and beyond to help us when we had a problem. My husband's car keys slipped out of his pocket on the go carts. One of the workers diligently searched the car after we discovered that they were missing, but they were not immediately found. My husband also searched it awhile later and when we had finally given up and assumed that they had been lost somewhere else in the park, a manager and owner came to the rescue. They insisted that they wanted to try one last time to locate the keys and actually picked up the heavy go cart and disassembled the bottom part of it, revealing them in the bottom of the car. I have been coming to this amusement park since I was a child and highly recommend it for the mini golf, bumper boats, go carts, rainbow slide and the arcade games...as well as the incredibly helpful and caring staff!

We had a great time a few hours and about $50. Make sure you bring extra sunscreen!! We bought the $100 card that comes with a $20 bonus. We were told they don't expire for 5 years, but and are pretty sure we'll be able to use the balance easily. We used about half of it for three of us to do the slide half a dozen times, bumper boats, race cars and water balloons. We arrived around 10:30 and there weren't too many people there, so not a lot of wait time, but as the morning progressed, so did the crowds. The slide was a hit. Great for kids to go alone or with an adult if they're a tad nervous (kid or adult). It is only $1 a ride. The bumper boats are an old standby with water shooters. We had a pretty good time on those. If you're not all riding, they have water shooters on the perimeter for observers to participate. I do think it's possible to reach these from the boats, so be forewarned! The go carts were the most expensive element we participated in, but the ride time is quite long, so I felt we got our money's worth. Careful on the middle turn though. I think 4 different cars got stuck on our run. My daughter was the most excited for the water balls. You step inside a deflated plastic ball and they inflate it with a leaf blower. You step intao very shallow pool and learn what it's like to be a hamster. I didn't see any adults in these, but kids young and old had fun trying to walk on water.

It's a fun break from nature life especially for the kids. They have go carts, bumper cars, slides, miniature golf, water boats, and games. It's not fancy, but the rides seemed to go a bit longer than other places so that was nice. Arcade selection is pretty sad though. Not much game wise to play.

We loved the big rainbow slide!!!! My boy was almost 4 years old and loved it as much as my husband did!

We just happened to be driving up to Grand Lake to do a scenic drive around this gorgeous lake and came across this go karting place that my kids wanted to try out! It's a mom and pops kind of place, which we totally LOVE to support especially when it has a story w/ a BIG heart behind it. Check in was super easy, they give you tokens for go karting or bumper cars. Since it's a small place, the wait didn't take too long. Our family of 6 was able to rent 3 doubles and raced each other. The crisp fresh air and the view of mountains in the background made it even more special. The carts ran very smoothly, the exhaust weren't smoky like alot of places, and they even make it fun by pouring out buckets of water to make the grounds slippery during the ride.. felt like we were on Mario Karts. ;) For the bumper cars, I can tell the owner controlled some parts to make us spin just to give us a good laugh. I loved that! Just observing the place, I can tell there was so much labor of LOVE put into this wholesome fun fun fun place. There was a repair shop with a cart hanging waiting to be restored with lots of tools hanging - the owner must be a super handy man. This past weekend marked 20th year anniversary for Rocky Hi Speedway and we had the priviledge of meeting the owner! Such a friendly guy and my obervation were all correct. Sad to see this place up for sale since it hasn't gotten much foot traffic, but gathering from our convo I felt like he would love to keep it running. Therefore, I would like to put this place on the map and give a special shout out to the guy who put all his heart and time into building this place! Thank you for providing my family such a fun, safe and family friendly environment to enjoy the rockies! I really hope this place will stand for generations to come. We'll def be back!

We've been here twice now and I can honestly say this is the best water park I've been to. First of all, it is SO CLEAN! No trash, no bugs, nothing -- it's honestly shocking. Secondly, it's massive! There are so many slides here and it's a great place for adults and kids, since they have different levels of thrill. Additionally, the slides are pretty unique! There are several slides with immersive theming that we were very impressed by. They do have your standard slides, but if you are looking for something more unique they have that too! Both times we've come here was on a weekend and we've never had a problem finding chairs or waiting in lines for food. This past time we went we got the tube valet and it was 100% worth it. If you are on the fence about it, I would highly recommend it. It's way less wait times and you don't have to carry your tube up the big hills. Additionally, as someone who is very sensitive to heat, this was a game changer for me. I would not visit Water World again without this purchase! They also let you bring in your own food and drinks in a cooler, which is very rare to find at any kind of theme park these days. In my experience, the food and drink available for purchase was pretty reasonable for a theme park, not overly expensive. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and will absolutely be back.

There are a ton of slides and they are a blast! It's so big that we didn't get to everything despite trying hard to do so. There is excellent variety. My favorite was Lost River of the Pharaohs. The one big thing that I really disliked is the "Tube Valet" system. Specifically, the way this park allows guests who spend more to skip the lines. I can definitely see how paying more to not have to carry a tube is good for accessibility, but the skipping the lines component is just greedy and it makes the experience worse for everyone else. It creates a class system within the park and I deeply resent it. In fact, there are certain slides I won't bother with again if I come back as the lines are already slow and "Tube Valet" kills my interest as I don't want to spend all day in line. Those rides are Mile High Flyer and Revolution. They were fun, but it doesn't matter when you spend so long in line that you ultimately miss riding other things. The "Tube Valet" alone prevented this place from getting 5 stars. It's gross. Keep in mind that we came during the day on a weekday in the hopes of lines being less awful. If I visit again, I will do a few things differently. 1. I will pack nearly nothing so I don't have to pay for a locker (they are pricey at $16 - $21 depending on size). The exception would be if coming with a group large enough that a public space could be secured with a non-swimmer. If I were part of such a group, I would pack a cooler (following cooler size limitations on the website) as well as a few other small items like sunblock. 2. I will not ride Revolution or Mile High Flyer 3. I will eat either before or after to avoid paying in park (or do the group with a cooler method). 4. I will apply lots of sunblock before entering the park so I do not have to carry it in. Overall worth a visit, but consider the limitations inflicted by "Tube Valet."

My daughter and I arrived around 11am and we decided to have a little picnic in the back of the car, which seemed easier than trying to carry stuff through TT until we reached the picnic tables. The scenery is so pretty here, which made our little trunk picnic even more special! My daughter is 5 and was probably JUST young enough to enjoy it. We rode the train first--a short but cute ride--and then made our way through the town. She loved checking out all of the buildings, as well as seeing how they were decorated inside. So many dolls and scenes! The playground is sparse and outdated, but of course we had to spend a little time there. Our only negative experience was with the woman working the register in the gift shop. We were buying something, and my daughter picked up a little trinket that you're supposed to turn over + watch the bubbles move. Instead of just asking her to put it down (again: it's for playing with! And it was right in front of her face!) she ripped it out of her hands. While this doesn't classify as touching someone else's kid, it was close enough for me. Overall, a 4-star experience! I'm glad we took the time to go.

Also, K1 has an Arrive & Drive option for just racing, it's first come first serve. The day we went was for a birthday.
