For $25/per person for a single ride, you can zoom down the mountain side in a small cart on a metal track. You're initially separated from the rider in front of you and behind you by 80 feet, but that can quickly change depending on how fast or slow those people choose to go. The scenery is nice, the staff are friendly, and the ride is thrilling. If you're looking for something a little more heart thumping to do while in Estes Park, this is for you. read more

You must get to the location early we arrived right around 11 we had to park down the hill at their horse barn and a bus took us back up so there's limited parking the bathrooms are very clean. We did three rides per person for $35 each the track is roughly 2 1/2 miles longand takes about 3 to 5 minutes to ride. There is a 330 pound weight limit for two riders however, one writer can weigh up to 550 pounds read more

What a cool experience! I visited on a quiet day so didn't have any wait time. It's super easy to complete the waiver with their QR code, and tickets can be purchased onsite or online in advance. This was SO much fun! It was on my daughter and I's to-do list when we visited Estes a couple weeks ago. It did not disappoint. Luckily, the place that we stayed at had free lifetime passes for it's residents to use for two hours so we grabbed a pair and were on our way. The lady that was directing the parking was super nice and friendly, which is super nice to encounter when you first enter somewhere new. The line can get a tad long but you normally get through it in less than 5-10 minutes. We went down it 8 times. We found out that you go faster if there are two people on the coaster instead of one so we did that for the majority of the time. This is now on our list of things that we need to visit every time we go to Estes! read more

Such a great experience if visiting Estes Park! Even though it was snowing and a little cold, the experience was very unique and the Mountain Views were beautiful! I liked that you could control your speed to go slow for the views or fast for the fun (lists up to 25-30mph). $20/ride or $35/3 rides which was pretty worthwhile. read more

Sooo fun!!! We bought the 3-ride pass, totally worth it. We had a variety of ages in our group; adults, teenagers, and preschoolers. Everyone had a blast! You can control your speed, but I recommend going full speed, it's the funnest. I was a little nervous my first round, so I went a little slower. But for rounds 2 & 3 I just kept the handle all the way forward. And just a heads up the parking lot is tiny, but they have a shuttle that will run you back and forth to a different parking lot. All the guys working were super friendly and good at explaining things so that you feel comfortable and safe. We would definitely be up for doing this again, next time we're in the area. read more

Arrived after a two hour drive and they closed prior to their time of closing. Complete waste of time!

It's definitely a more costly endeavor but inline with other coasters and a highlight of our trip. You'll complete a waiver, order your tickets at the window (wished we would have done the 3 for $30 at first since we did a re-ride), proceed to the line, they'll load you and explain simple use instructions. You'll start the trip up and they'll pace you out at the top for the ride down; about a minute each. You can choose to do the ride down with no breaks for more thrill-seeking or a slight brake to take in the sights. My eight year old over 54" who had never done it, did it by himself; he did slower the first trip and faster the second. read more

Although the roller coaster offers a thrilling ride, I was disappointed by how closely riders are spaced. On downhill sections, everyone ends up stuck behind slower riders, which takes away from the experience for those of us who enjoy a faster pace. I've been at the Glenwood Caverns coaster before,it's a way better experience for the same price with stunning views. read more

Organized system, friendly staff, fun time. As others mentioned, we recommend the three ride package. Exit the gates and reenter and they will punch a hole in your ticket for each round. On the back of our tickets, we also received a discount to what I believe was a mini golf elsewhere (which seems to be part of the same company). If you're brave, you can go without brakes down the hill. It's a pretty cool system that they've created for this mountain coaster, highly recommend! P.S. the bathrooms are clean. read more

We had a fun time doing these coasters. It's a better deal to get multi-rides than getting a single ride so we jumped at the chance. Our girls were small enough where we could still ride with them which was probably best as our oldest had a fear of heights/too fast and she ended up breaking most of the way, much to the dismay of my hubby who was behind her. So up we went again, this time she rode with me and we went top speed. What a fun experience! It's a bit pricey but we are glad we went and we'd be happy to bring out of town guests here to experience it as well. read more

This place is amazing. I've been going to Estes Park my whole life and adding this Mustang Mountain Coaster only enhances the already awesome experience. A number of years ago I rode the alpine slide outside Golden, CO at Heritage Park. It's unfortunately been closed for quite a while. That slide wasn't very safe. It ran on wheels on a cement track and if you weren't careful, you could fly off and hurt yourself. This was plainly evident by looking at the youngsters working there who were covered with bruises and abrasions. Mustang Mountain Coaster is much safer since it runs on a track similar to what you find on a roller coaster, i.e. the cars can't fly off the track. The staff is very friendly, courteous and helpful. I was cautious on my first run, hit the brake once on my second run then went full throttle the whole way down on my third run. I'm an oldster from Houston and I equated that third run to a ride on the old Texas Cyclone at the bygone Astroworld. It was awesome. Highly recommended and I will be back. read more

So much fun! Earlier the better, lines are shorter. But the 3 ride pass, you'll want to go again!

Pros- Absolutely stunning view of the mountains, friendly staff, and fun ride Cons- It is really expensive for what you get. They said the ride would be 6-8 minutes but I timed it and it was only 4 minutes and I was even using the brakes a lot. I did the 3 rides pass and was in and out of the park in less than 30 minutes. It would be great if they extended the track longer. The chair is also quite painful on your lower back, the top part is made of fabric which is nice but the hard plastic bottom part ends at an angle that hurts as you're on the ride. It's also hard to go fast because the ride is very rough and bumpy read more

Heck yeah! This is amazing. We were so excited to see this addition to Estes Park and it was worth the time! Brand new buildings and equipment. All the staff was nice and knowledgeable and the coaster was fast!!! Yes it's a large cost especially with a large group but we had so much fun. $35 for 3 rides or $20 for one. We went with the 3 for each of our party. Glad we did. The coaster is fast with lots of bends and turns. Look forward to see if they add anything else to this location in the future. read more

Lots of fun for all ages. The lines moved quickly too. Workers were very friendly and helpful.

For the last year or so there has been a lot of hubbub about allowing this coaster or slide in our area. So with a bit of reluctance I decided to go check it out for myself. I am so glad I did. It is a very quiet ride and not close to any cabins or housing. The staff are very friendly and the ride itself is absolutely incredible. To be able to just sit and quietly glide through our mountain area and see everything like that is so special. As I am sneaking up in age I did not let it rip like the young couple before me, But I did hear them laugh all the way down the mountain. I did not see anyone they did not have a good time. Adults and children are like enjoy the ride. I carefully examine the rail system and the coasters as well as interview the workers and I think it is impossible for the coasters to come off of the track. The engineering was excellent. In short I think this is a great addition to our community. It gives people something to do that they will remember read more

Went during the day and got the 3 rides a piece, had so much fun we made reservations for the night ride which consists of 4 rides that you never have to get off for. You do them all consecutively!! The view was amazing, and totally worth every penny we spent. read more

This was a DAMN good time. Not a cheap date but a super fun and unique experience. We visit the area every year or so and this will be a great addition to our trips. I was a little concerned about the safety but the place is SUPER solid. I'm a metal fab guy and always check the materials and construction of structures like these. This place is awesome.
