I have to say that the service has always been friendly and I really enjoy the aesthetic and casual approach to it. All in all, never a dull moment here.

I literally did nothing besides walk in the bar and talk to the people I know. She is extremely unprofessional and when she found out that I reported her unprofessionalism she retaliated by creating situation to get the result that she wanted (me leaving). She will talk about you behind your back to other customers. Even the cook called me the hard "er" if you know what I mean. This was nothing more than a racial scheme to be petty and racist. It's okay, though. I'm used to it but this level or racism is appalling.

My husband was thrilled because he has been on a journey with mezcals recently, even so far as buying a book on their history, etc. We are planning to visit Oaxaca later this year. Stay tuned for reviews from there! The owner quickly recognized my husband's enthusiasm and knowledge. He talked with us quite a bit and even shared some photos of his visit to the distillery in the photos. We ordered huaraches carnitas and it was so freaking good!! Warning, their red salsa is the warmer of the two. If you can't handle heat, you may want to skip that one. They have live music quite often and have a nice stage and sound system. We were there at an odd time so it was quiet. I can imagine it's lively at night. We would definitely return if we find ourselves in El Paso again.

Place is not clean and menus are dirty. The issue initiated because he asked my sister for her ID. I told him she's 18. He said I was having an attitude and he didn't ask me. This place has loud music and I did speak louder than the music so he could hear me. I tried speaking to him again as he was speaking to his colleague and he was talking about me when I approached him to ask him his name and tried explaining that I didn't have an attitude he told me to leave. I decided to take my service else where before hand because I did not like his tone and attitude towards me. I will try a different location. The situation escalated due to his lack of customer service. I also had a toddler with me what was odd to me about the interrogation on identification of my sister.

Sat at a table, empty for 5 minutes, sat for 5 minutes, then two guys come by and say, "this is our table, those are our (empty) drinks." So I'm faced with the decision of meeting their testosterone with mine, or relinquish the table. These young guys don't look like they have careers, so I've got more to lose meeting their attitude with mine. I move on. This happens several more time at other spots and at other tables and with other patrons. Lots of empty tables, lots of empty drinks and young guys and girls making false claims to tables. In my opinion, all those false claims could be alleviated by just having a busboy bus the empty drinks, and suddenly no claims can be made. It's been 90 minutes and not one busboy has gone to bus any empty drinks. And lots of standing claims are still being made at empty tables. The young people seldom are even making trips to the bar to buy new drinks or fill the bartenders tip jars. Only tips in the jar right now are the tips I have left behind. Music is good. Ambiance is decent.
