We promptly got greeted and helped with our drinks, I downed a pineapple cider whose name I can't recall and my fiancé got the blueberry one. We ended up deciding on the Pineapple and we got ourselves a little growler. The atmosphere is perfect to go and knock back a few pints, it was hot as hell so I'm sure any brew would have done on that day. We are excited to continue going and checking out all of the different flavors they later introduce as well as grow our Growler collection at home!

After some research I finally found Tin Man, which actually has 3 locations in El Paso (all of them on the East side). The place itself is really nice with plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. Their beer selection was definitely top notch, with many beers from Texas breweries. I also like that they are kid and dog friendly. On the other hand, I wish they would sell a little bit of food, or at least a bag of chips to go with their beers. Regardless the place is really nice and will definitely visit again on my next trip to El Paso!

My wife and I stopped in while running some errands, and I have to tell ya, the atmosphere and service are top notch! The owner/brewmaster is still an active firefighter and has carried that theme throughout the place! The brews have a mostly fruit palate with mango, strawberry, black cherry, and orange creamsicle ales. You won't find Corona or Miller Lite here, nor do they have liquor. Ciders and Seltzers may appear in the future, but for now, those aren't available yet, but they do have some wine for those non-beer drinkers. Food Trucks in the parking lot will also be coming soon! I'm looking forward to Engine 3 becoming a staple of the community!

We were harassed by a couple of older regulars--a guy and his buddy--who kept calling us "SLOW" for no apparent reason. It was unnecessary, rude, and really soured the mood. You'd hope for a welcoming neighborhood spot, but this felt more like a hostile "locals-only" club where if you don't fit a certain mold, you aren't welcome. To make matters worse, the service didn't help. The bartender was extremely awkward and made the interaction feel forced and weird, rather than hospitable. Between the insults from the other customers and the strange energy from behind the bar, we couldn't wait to leave. Bottom line: If you're looking for a friendly, inclusive place to grab a drink, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. We won't be back. 2/21 around 4pm

He's won many awards for his beers, including many out-of-state competitions, even an International Award! Over the years, I don't believe I've ever had the same beer twice, but it has always been good and like another reviewer said, "well worth the trip." I've never met a beer there I didn't like. My most recent experience started with seeing a friend whom I had introduced to Sun Brewing enjoying the patio with his friends. I enjoyed a berry/fruity beer. Wow! But, I have to tell you about the trip before that. I was having a delightful conversation with David and enjoying a beer when a couple from Connecticut came in for a beer. We spoke while we finished our beers and I learned they were going to park their motorhome in the Cracker Barrel parking lot to spend the night. Well, I couldn't have that! I invited them to the farm and they accepted. Caught a skunk that night, so they had not only the flavor of David's fine beer, but also the mating season in the Mesilla Valley. Good beer, good company and local atmosphere. My new Connecticut friends and I will be back and no doubt I'll meet local friends there almost every time I go. Does life get any better?
