Handgun 1, 2 - foundational. I wish everyone who owned a firearm would take these. And from them. Handgun 3 - FUN. DYNAMIC. FUN. Little intense. But only enough to make it interesting. Scott the owner is so funny. All are a wealth of knowledge and skill. Will be taking more classes for sure! Highly recommend them.

Spent a very educational and eye-opening weekend with ITTS' new class, Tactical Concepts. This…read morecourse filled a critical gap in my firearms proficiency - bridging the space between pure marksmanship and real-world application. The class provided structure, guidelines, and valuable considerations on when to use lethal force, how to apply it effectively, and how to do so while minimizing collateral risks and maximizing the chances of prevailing in court (especially important here in California). Most importantly, it emphasized how to carry yourself in a way that reduces the likelihood of ever needing to deploy lethal force in the first place. For context, I have a competitive shooting background and am confident in my ability to put accurate rounds on target quickly - both in a square-range and more dynamic settings. My weakness? Applying that skill in real-world situations. Marksmanship is just one side of the coin. Tactics - the knowledge of how and when to employ that marksmanship - is the other. This class helped tie those two sides together, showing how to maximize survivability during an incident and in the post-incident aftermath involving law enforcement, prosecutors, jurors, and the inevitable Monday-morning quarterbacks. Looking forward to ITTS creating Tactical Concepts 2 and 3... Highly recommend for anyone who wants to take their skills beyond just hitting the target.

I genuinely enjoy shooting at Angeles Shooting Range and will absolutely be coming back. One of the…read morebiggest reasons is that they allow outside ammunition, which is rare in Los Angeles and something I really appreciate. The range layout is great, and overall I've liked my experiences there. However, during my recent visit, there was an incident with a range master (James) that management should address. My friend and I briefly stepped over to a table area where another guest was showing us a shotgun he had purchased earlier that day. This was not during a ceasefire period, and no one was downrange. The firearm remained inside the bag the entire time. He did not pick it up, manipulate it, or handle it -- he simply unzipped the bag slightly to show it and intended to zip it back up. At that point, James approached yelling loudly about opening the bag. I fully respect strict enforcement of safety rules -- ranges should be strict. If there is a policy about not unzipping cases at the tables, that's completely fine. But the tone and level of aggression did not match the situation. After that, he continued staring at us and pointing us out to other staff members, which made us uncomfortable enough to end our session early. In an environment involving firearms, professionalism, composure, and emotional control are essential. Being yelled at and then singled out creates unnecessary tension. After this experience, I looked through other reviews and noticed similar feedback about overly aggressive communication from staff. That suggests this may not be an isolated incident and is something management should take seriously. This review is not about being corrected -- it's about how corrections are delivered. Authority in a safety role requires calm, measured communication. If this style of interaction is consistent, I strongly encourage management to evaluate whether this individual is well-suited for a customer-facing safety position. Staff demeanor directly affects the safety atmosphere of the range. When we spoke to the front counter staff (including Carmen), they were professional, took our concerns seriously, and encouraged us to share feedback so management would be aware. I appreciated that. I'm rating this two stars because staff conduct matters in an environment like this. That said, I do plan to return because overall I really like this range. I would welcome a response from management, as I genuinely enjoy this range and would like to see situations like this handled more professionally moving forward.

I have thought long and hard about posting this review. I truly am a huge supporter of any local…read morebusiness, but the end result was too disappointing. I have to leave this review. I try to support small local businesses whenever I can, especially ones in my own neighborhood. In early January I stopped into Addax Tactical while I was out riding my e-bike with my dog. The staff were friendly, they were cool about my dog being there, and they even let me bring my bike inside. My first impression was positive. A little later I went back to order a rifle. I wanted a Henry Big Boy .357 Lever Action Rifle. They didn't have it in stock, and I was told it would take about two to three weeks to arrive because the SHOT Show convention was coming up. While doing the paperwork, I also decided to purchase a Ruger 10/22 so I could complete both purchases with a single background check. I left a deposit of about $1,200 toward roughly $2,000 total for the two rifles. Both rifles are very standard models that most gun stores typically have available or can obtain quickly. I could have easily purchased them elsewhere, but I made a deliberate choice to support a smaller shop in my neighborhood and was willing to wait the extra couple of weeks. Based on the timeline I was given, I expected the rifles to arrive by late January and to have them in my possession by mid-February after the required 10-day waiting period. That didn't happen. After three weeks I called to check on the order. Nothing had arrived yet. I waited another week and called again. Still nothing. The responses were always very casual, with little explanation other than that the rifles had been ordered. Around six weeks into the process, I was told the Ruger had arrived but they hadn't called because they assumed I wanted to pick up both rifles at the same time. I went in immediately and started the paperwork to take possession of the Ruger. During that visit I learned something that had never been mentioned before: the Henry rifle had not actually shipped yet, and the shop generally places firearm orders in batches rather than ordering individual rifles. This was the first time I had heard that, even though the original estimate had been two to three weeks. At that point I agreed to upgrade to the octagonal-barrel version of the Henry since I had always wanted that model anyway, and I was told the change would not affect the delivery timeline. After the 10-day waiting period I picked up the Ruger and again asked about the Henry. The answer was still that it had not arrived yet. By this point we were about eight weeks into the process, with no clear timeline. About a week later I called again and received the same answer. At that point I decided to cancel the Henry order and request a refund. I was told the refund would come from accounting and that I should expect a check in two to three weeks. After two weeks I called again and was told it could take up to 30 days. I eventually went to the shop in person to check on the refund. This time I was told I could not bring my bike or dog inside, even though I had been there several times before with both and it had never been an issue. Eventually I received a call saying the refund check had arrived. For the sake of transparency, I'm writing this from memory without the receipts directly in front of me, so the dollar amounts may be off by a few dollars either way, but the numbers below are very close to what was paid and refunded. When I picked up the check, the amount returned was about $370 out of the roughly $1,200 deposit I had paid. That means that after roughly 12 weeks, the final outcome of this transaction is that I effectively ended up with a $830 Ruger 10/22 -- a rifle that typically sells for a few hundred dollars at most gun shops. Even assuming some type of restocking fee, it's difficult to understand how that result makes sense, particularly for a rifle that, according to the shop, had not even shipped yet when I cancelled the order. I went into this purchase specifically because I wanted to support a small neighborhood business like Addax Tactical and was willing to wait longer than usual to do so. Unfortunately, after the delays, the lack of clear communication about how orders were handled, and the final refund outcome, the entire experience ended up being extremely frustrating. If you're considering ordering a firearm here, my advice would simply be to make sure you clearly understand the ordering process, timeline expectations, and refund policies before leaving a deposit. Posting this simply to document my experience so other customers know what to expect when placing a special order here.

During the online purchase process, Sako suggested a few FFL's, and Guns LA was one of them. I said yep, although I had never been here, and away we go. A few weeks later, I received an email notice that the rifle had arrived at Guns LA, and I drove over to go through the transfer drill. They buzzed me right in, I was greeted by a couple of the guys, and they handled everything right away. Typical easy California transfer: pages of paperwork, produce CDL, provide DNA sample, raise your right hand and swear you are not a communist or a Klingon, take a polygraph...the usual drill. Because they have a highly Yelp rated gunsmith, I handed them the Leopold scope and mounting rings I had purchased and asked them to mount it (yeah...as if I could have mounted it). No problemo. Ten long days later, I returned (and yes, the DROS paperwork stamps the exact minute from the ten days you started the process and you are damn RIGHT I was there at the exact minute to accept my rifle). They gave me a break on the price of mounting the scope since I did the transfer paperwork there, which was generous and unexpected. Everything was perfect. Although I live in Pasadena, and there are closer gun shops, I would absolutely go to these guys again. Thumbs up and thank you!

I had an excellent experience at Guns LA in Burbank and can't recommend them enough…read more About a year ago, I purchased a handgun from another dealer that has since permanently closed. Recently, I noticed some parts were coming loose and was concerned about safety. I reached out to a few shops, and while the first place was willing to help, I felt like they were more focused on trying to sell me something rather than genuinely helping with my issue. Thankfully, I found Guns LA right around the corner. After seeing their great reviews on Yelp and Google, I decided to stop by and I'm so glad I did. Deon helped me from the start and was incredibly professional and knowledgeable. He never made me feel uncomfortable and took the time to explain everything clearly. Not only did he inspect and fix my firearm, but he also spent time teaching me how to properly use my Holosun sight and gave me helpful tips to improve my shooting. He even shared a flyer for private training lessons, which I really appreciated. Best of all, there was zero pressure to buy anything. He genuinely cared about helping me, not making a sale. When I returned to pick up my handgun, Deon and Mike explained that the previous dealer had actually left out some important parts, something they couldn't believe. Luckily, Guns LA has a certified gunsmith on staff (apparently one of the only ones within a 20-mile radius), and they took great care of everything. I'm extremely grateful to have found this place. They've earned my trust and my business. I'll definitely be coming back for future purchases, and they're now the only shop I'll trust with my handguns and AR-15. Highly recommend Guns LA if you're looking for honest, professional, and knowledgeable service! Big thank you to Deon

Their instruction revealed gaps in my knowledge that previous classes never addressed, to the point where I seriously questioned whether I was truly worthy of the responsibility of carrying. What sets Seven 4 Para apart is the depth of their expertise, real-world experience, and unwavering professionalism. They took me to an entirely new level in safety, technique, and situational awareness. My initial CCW class two years ago felt like a rubber stamp by comparison--no real challenge, no deep accountability. If you're serious about elevating your gun ownership, self-defense skills, and overall responsibility, this class is exceptional. The volume of essential information packed into 16 hours is intensive but absolutely necessary. Eloy and Alec go above and beyond to ensure every student truly understands the concepts--they won't sign off until they're confident you're safe, capable, and respectful of the responsibility. Huge thanks to the entire Seven 4 Para team for investing the time to advance my knowledge, sharpen my respect for carrying, and improve my decision-making under pressure. This training was worth far more than the cost--it's an investment in safety and peace of mind.
