5/5 - So Good, I Came Back the Next Day! After an amazing first visit, I came back for breakfast at On The Kirb in Katy the very next day -- and it was just as incredible! The food is that good. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. I couldn't get enough! This time, we were lucky to have Elizabeth as our server, and she was just as amazing as the food. Super kind, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The service here is consistently top-tier. If you're thinking about trying this place -- do it. One visit won't be enough. This has been one of my favorite locations for a few years. The quality of food is amazing, the restaurant is always clean and serves up good vibes. What keeps be coming back is the staff. Everyone is always kind and friendly. I have a few favorite waiters that always take care of me. Andrea is one of them. With all of the choices we have in the Katy and Fulshear area - On the Kirb is becoming our go-to "Happy Place"! I want to especially give a shout out to a FANTASTIC Bartender name Alejandro! WOW!!!! His overall personality makes him someone that you want to be around on a regular basis - a true "Servant's Heart"! Went in at 3:30 on New Years Day. Waited about five minutes at the host stand. Then was told it would be about 10-15 minute wait. I noticed about 25% of the tables were empty and asked why the wait if there are so many open tables. Hostess said "because we're packed right now". I said how are you packed with all these open tables? She then said "well, that's what my manager told me to say". Sorry OTK, y'all need to do better. We had book club at On the Kirb in Katy. The manager, Raul, helped me with my reservation and made sure that all of our needs were taken care of. I love this place for the attentive service and great atmosphere. When it is too loud inside, the patio is perfect! I highly recommend. read more

We appreciate the healthy options that On the Kirb offers! Jackson was a great waiter. He was personable and had good menu recommendations. Our one complaint about the establishment is that they do not have high chairs or a kids menu. I understand the vibe that they are going for, but the restaurant is located in a suburb, surrounded by families, so this would allow them to better cater to the demographic. read more

We have tried this place several times thinking we caught it at a bad time. Tonight was some of the worst service that we have had anywhere. Our starter came out but we had no utensils. 10 minutes pass and still our server did not come by. Another 5 or 10 minutes and our entrees come out. We ask for utensils but no luck. Finally, my husband had to go up front and ask for utensils, only to be given plastic forks because they were still rolling the silverware with napkins. The tables around us were still getting their silverware. Our drinks were empty & it would have been nice to at least get water to help wash down the very well-done burger. We wanted to order more drinks, cocktails and a dessert since it was my husband's birthday, but still no server checked in. When we finally saw her again, we just wanted to leave so we paid and went somewhere else for dessert. We still left a tip because my sandwich & our starters were fine, but it was a very disappointing meal. read more

We came from Florida to Richmond, TX to visit family and they brought us here - let me just say, it was amazing! We love the organic offerings and everything is so fresh and cooked to perfection. We tried the nachos (and added the ground beef), the caprese burger well done and the Kirby sunrise burger medium and my husband really enjoyed it! We also ordered the ny strip (cooked just right), cheese pizza for the kids, and the pasta with shrimp. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and we even came back for a second visit. We had an AMAZING experience today at On the Kirb! Q and the other bartenders working today, helped me surprise my friends with the gender of my baby. They came up with the cutest idea to surprise them, videoed it for us without asking and went out of their way to make us feel special! Q was extremely attentive and was always around checking in and making sure we had what we needed while we were there. He was so personable and all around a truly amazing server! This is our third maybe fourth time sitting at the bar. Horrible service. Sitting with an empty drink for god knows how long. The place was not even busy! Most of the bartenders are not good. Wife ordered the Mediterranean pizza Absolutely inedible. If you look around the pie server in the photo you see liquid sauce oozing out of the pizza which okay fine. Maybe the crust holds up? Absolutely not! You literally need a spoon to eat it. Barf! Worse-the waitress takes FOREVER to come to the table to check on us. After flagging her down and giving me the one finger up "hold on I'll be with you in a minute", goes to another table eventually comes over and say's, "how is everything, did you like the pizza?" The picture you see is what she saw...I'm thinking "what do you think?!" Wife told her, "not at all, I tried." A slice was on the plate with one bite missing...she then asked "would you like me to see if you can get a discount on the pizza with the manager?" We uncomfortably declined a "discount" Had she come sooner I would have explained the issue and my wife would have ordered something she could eat and not go completely hungry on a $60 bill, but to never check on you, then to offer to speak to a manager to possibly get a "discount" on a pizza that should NEVER be on a menu or served to animal's is offensive. I make this review to let everyone know there is a reason there is no photo of this disgusting pizza on Yelp or Google until now. No one orders it. You're all welcome ! DON'T ORDER IT! Watched March Madness at the Kirb. Food was great but the service was even better. Our server, Cayla was amazing. Worth the visit!!!

This is a new location located on Fulshear. I've actually been here twice. Great results each time. This last time I was here to watch a football game with one of my friends. It's a pretty large venue as multiple TVs around each side. There's also a huge TV toward the front. This time I had pizza, a hibiscus margarita, and a Mojito. The service is very good. They are vendor very attentive. The food was hot, and the drinks were strong. It's a great place to watch a game. It's also an outside covered patio with TVs also. You can become one of my favorite places. read more

Having been several times now, I've removed one star. The food is still excellent, but service is definitely much better in the evenings. I've visited twice during the day and have decided it's not something I'll do again. I've actually walked out on an afternoon visit after waiting an inordinate amount of time for service after being seated and given menus...and no one seemed to care as they watched us quietly leave, so obviously the day management needs some work (or did the summer of 2024)... I've always received great service in the evenings. Even when we were the only table seated outside we weren't forgotten. In fact, they've gone above and beyond. We chose to sit outside once due to the happy noise inside, but it was a bit chilly. They attempted to fire up the warmers, but were having issues. They would not be deterred! They called out the expert and soon had them fired up and we were nice and toasty for our visit. The Brussel sprouts, wings, nachos and truffle fries are all great (I'm a creature of habit). Portions are generous. The giant pretzel will not disappoint! Three of us ate off of it and still took plenty home. It's a large as a child's head! I hear the cowboy burger is incredible, but I don't eat bacon and the bacon jam is what makes the burger, so I haven't indulged. But definitely give it a try. read more

The kebab plate she recommended was a 10/10 and we really hope it ends up a permanent item on the menu. Raul the general manager was also super kind and welcoming! We met our Son and his family here on a Sunday evening. Sat on the outdoor patio and it had a great ambiance. Waitress was great and after getting our drinks answered all our questions and made some suggestions. Food was perfect. Ribeye steak was cooked a perfect medium rare and was very tender and tasty. OTK Katy is a real gem out here in Cinco. The food is amazing but the service is even better, which is tough to achieve in the suburbs. In particular, I'd like to give special recognition to Alia Tymon for being an absolutely fantastic waitress!
