First time eating here. We loved it. Pretzel was soft and yummy. And the pizza we got was loaded with veggies, one of the best crust I've had on a pizza. Crispy and chewy. Tati and Nathan both extremely friendly and courteous. Also the manager on duty very nice. We will definitely be back

Wowwww . I enjoyed my foood so much . The nachos were A1 !! The pizza 8/10 for sure. I love that you can build or own but I chose chicken pot pie and spinach and artichokes. Now the dessert was the best !! I never had the banana bread but wow I'm going back again lol I would've gave a 5 start but service was rocky with an attitude at first but she came around with a positive attitude after so that's great but I don't like impatience. Ambiance is nice . I will come back !

Went to late lunch with friends last Sunday. I love the fact this restaurant have nice bar with many TVs to watch all the football games in my state. The restaurant has several options and I like the fact they have HH specials each day of the week. Service is always good and food is fresh. I really like the flat bread pizzas. I tried the black bean burger and side Caesar salad and it was healthy and good. I would like to try more items off the menu next visit. The Best Foodie review!

After 2 failed attempts of giving this restaurant a shot, I will no longer be back to this location. I have been to multiple on the Kirb restaurants in Houston and had great experiences, but katy is not up to the other location standards. The first time I came to Katy , it wasn't busy but took over an hour to order. People who came after us finished eating by the time we just placed our order. We were told this was due to a shift change between the waiters. Well when I came this past Saturday, I will say the service was better but the food was not. We ordered baked wings that were chewy, hard, and stale in my opinion. We ended up switching them to the truffle fries which were not hot when we received them. I had the sausage breakfast tacos which were off the brunch menu. The potatoes on there were cold and hard. The taco itself was okay but so much juices on it that it started to get soggy. Not a good experience, and I hope they can fix this location to be like the others.

Great service, drinks and food! Excellent spot to catch a game or unwind with some cocktails at the bar. The staff is friendly, especially Q at the bar, he's always good conversation and makes the experience that much better.

It's only been a handful of years since On The Kirb has graced the Katy / Fulshear scene, but it's clear this is one of the most impressive locations in their growing empire. Most folks are taken by how enormous this place is but I would also venture to say the food is solid, the ambiance is festive, and the service is excellent. This has be one of, if not *the* largest location of OTK that I've ever seen. There is ample seating in every direction with extensive indoor and outdoor seating, making this the ultimate group friendly spot watch a game, eat a meal, drink to one's content, or really, all of the above. The bar is equally impressive, with a number of local taps and a nice inventory of quality booze on display. The bartenders are young, hip, and upbeat and the servers are energetic and eager to serve. Their happy hour specials are dine-in only, which include a $2 discount to all drinks, $16 bottles of vino, and a smattering of $10 or less bar bites. In terms of the food, I was mostly happy with everything I've sampled from their abundant pile of nachos to their super tasty grass fed ribeye. The latter was perfectly cooked at a light medium rare, with enough juices and the perfect pink of meat that I could ask for. I also have high regard for their seafood, salad, and burgers. The pizza is a bit of a miss for me, as are the tacos and desserts. It probably does well in a pinch for most comfort food seekers, but I'll favor the other items before returning to these ones. I'm aware of their giant pretzels, brunch specialty items, and wraps, but those will be for another day. While it's not the sexiest location (near the highway, in a Lowe's parking lot, etc) and somewhat off the beaten path (#1), it's a place that should satisfy the needs of the average food / drink / entertainment seeker. I would recommend coming here with a massive entourage, as there really is a little something for everyone. ___________ (#1) Or simply, highway exit

Tried On The Kirb on a Friday night. Even though it was busy, we got seated right away. Our server was really friendly and we ended up both getting burgers as our meal. It was definitely very loud and crowded but they also had TVs going with games so if you wanted a bar atmosphere, it's a good place to go. I ended up getting the bacon cambozola burger, which had combozola cheese, onions, and fig balsamic. It had an interesting flavor to it - the cheese was very creamy, but it paired well with the burger and the bacon. I think I wanted more of the fig balsamic. Definitely a unique burger. Also, the pretzel bun was really nice as well. A great meal overall!

We had a great girls night here. It was loud and crowded. The charcuterie board was great for starters. Pizza was crispy and filling. The burger and fries were good and so was the chicken shwarma wrap. We ended the night with a banana bread pudding which was rich and delicious and shared by all. I personally love everything organic, so that was the cherry on top!

Everything is amazing the team is awesome!! Love us some April, Laura, Raul and Chef. Great place to go with the fam or go for date night w the wife!

Came to lunch and it was such a fun and comforting atmosphere. Reasonably priced with lots of options! My burger was fairly dry but the flavors were 10/10. Camryn was sour server and she was so nice and bubbly. Super attentive and came to check on us the perfect amount of time. A great place to hang out!!

Be very, very careful when ordering here. On the Kirb will surprise you with charges not disclosed by the menu or server. I ordered the Kebabs with beef, and the price was actually $16 more than the menu showed. Menu said $26, but price was actually $42. We pointed this out to the person working the counter once we got our bill. She acknowledged that the restaurant should have disclosed this, but still expected us to pay for charges they do not disclose--and pay higher prices than they tell you when ordering. read more

Had an amazing time this evening with Q as our server. He was personable, funny, polite, and kept the experience memorable. Our food was out quickly, prepared well, and came out hot. We come here often because we like the fresh food that is also on the healthier side. We decided to try breakfast today, and although the food was good, the service was lackluster. There were only about 12 customers in this morning, and maybe 4-5 servers and 2-3 others around. Our server was friendly, however, we had to flag her down a few times for sugar for coffee, salt & pepper when the food came, topping off the coffee, etc. I have a feeling she was fairly new, so I want to give her the benefit of doubt....but when all the tables are enjoying their meals and 4 out of 5 servers are on their phones, it may be the norm in the mornings. We'll most likely stick to dinner from now on. read more

This is still one of our favorite restaurants! The wait time on Fridays is always ridiculous. Even when we had a reservation they had us wait 20 minutes. But it's well worth the wait. The servers are always super friendly, especially Q. He's the best! He always has good suggestions. The place is full of TVs and lots of people. Fun bar scene. The pizza is delicious and I'm not even a fan of pizza. Like the organic take and the food quality. My favorite dish is the shrimp pasta. Always amazing. I like their daily deals. Our waitress was very nice. That's is the only plus from our visit. Our queso came out cold which our waitress had to fix (she was not the one who delivered it), the chicken on one of the tacos was so dried out that it crumbled (did not eat), and the biggest complaint I have is their pricing, the menu says one thing and then you get your bill and there is all of these up charges. We were NEVER told that anything would be an up charge. We won't be returning because of the way the price items. read more

I was visiting the area for business and wanted to get off the beaten path. I found myself at On the Kirb for dinner. Sat at the bar and lucked out to have Q as my bartender and friend for the evening. The food was great and made even better by the amazing drinks Q made. He made my visit from the banter to the pure joy he put into his craft. The restaurant is great and only made better by this man. Try the Q-tini, his take on an espresso martini. So, we picked a bad night for a group dinner and it wasn't any fault of the restaurant. It happened to be the first night of the NFL draft. The place was phenomenally noisy and we could hardly hear each other talk. We made reservations not realizing the draft would be the center of attention. Again, this was on us. The service was good even with a packed house and the salmon salad and fish tacos were surprisingly delicious. Everyone in our party enjoyed their food and will probably be more selective about when to visit again. read more

Fun local place that has the most amazing nachos and drinks! Husband and I wanted to grab a quick bite before getting the kids off the bus and we came here for some yummy nachos loaded and it was plenty to share. I had the hibiscus margarita and it was perfect! The patio outside is nice just make sure you sit in the shade! There are a few tables with full direct sun. I couldn't wait to try this new place in Katy and I'm so glad I did. First of all, the costumer service was beyond top notch. Every single worker there was beyond nice and happy. I hope they are treated the way they treated us. A+++ It's a very nice sports bar with a ton of space and a lot of tvs, so you won't miss a game. Awesome move! Now to the food. BEST soft pretzel ever!! It's a must have and you will be in love with it. I love soft pretzels and I've never had one so good, ever!! It's amazing. We tried the breakfast platter and the beef tacos and the food was phenomenal. Everything was freshly prepared and hot. I loved it all. They do offer a wide range of different foods, so everyone can find something they like. On the weekend they do offer breakfast as brunch, which I loved. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will be back a lot. I just can't get over the huge pretzel. It's now number 1 on my list!! read more

Love it here. An old friend and I use to go on Mondays he would order the Brick oven pizza that was a special for the day, he never had a complaint. I would get the Chicken Club wrap w/sweet potato fries. Service always top tier When asked for suggestions for a great place to grab a beer some good food and watch Monday night football this is the place. This burger hit the spot! The patty was juicy, cooked just right, and had that nice grilled flavor without being greasy. The bun was toasted perfectly--soft but held everything together. Fresh lettuce, tomato, and pickles gave it a nice crunch, and the cheddar melted just the way I like it. The sauce had a little tang and sweetness that tied everything together. Nothing fancy, just a really solid, satisfying burger. Would 100% come back for it again! read more

I had the Harvest Skillet today it was beyond lousy! No seasoning, rubber bland potatoes, soft scrambled eggs over cooked, veggies looked and tasted like scraps! Save your money don't bother with this place! If i could give it zero stars I would! read more

The restaurant itself is beautiful on the outside with an inside that has a modern, open design. You come in and seat yourself, and while there were several tables available, the restaurant definitely wasn't empty. There were people dining in the back room and out on the porch. It was a gorgeous day, but we opted for the AC. Service wasn't terrible, but it also wasn't especially attentive. It took a while for someone to come by with menus, and throughout the meal things just seemed to move slowly despite the restaurant not appearing understaffed. I don't mind a relaxed pace, but I also don't want to spend my entire afternoon sitting indoors at some random restaurant waiting around. We started with chips and queso. The chips were decent, but the queso was extremely thin and soupy--more like cheese soup than queso--thus definitely not worth the $10 price tag. Unless you love soupy queso. Then maybe it's definitely worth the $10 to you. For lunch, my brother and mom ordered The Local Burger with Fries and added avocado, my friend ordered the Beef Tenderloin Steak Wrap with Chips, and I tried the Spicy Buffalo Pizza because honestly, every menu starts looking the same after a while, and I wanted something different. Unfortunately, there were several issues with our order. Everyone's food arrived but my brother's because our server somehow assumed mom and he were sharing one burger since they ordered the same thing. They also forgot the avocado add-on for both burgers. Mom gave my brother her basket, and they shared the burger until his came, which was about 10 to 15 minutes later. Mom liked the fries because they came out hot and weren't overly salted, but neither she nor my brother really raved about the burgers. I think by then they forgot they asked for avocado, and we weren't charged for it, but that's kind of annoying to ask for something and nothing is said...they just quietly make sure not to charge you for it. The Spicy Buffalo Pizza was probably the biggest disappointment for me. I expected a more traditional buffalo chicken pizza, but instead it was kind of a layered, heavily drizzled mess that didn't really work together. The crust also appeared to be some sort of cornmeal-style crust that wasn't my favorite and didn't hold up well under the weight of the toppings. It was the kind of slice you knew would end up on you rather than in you, so I was really careful to make sure it hit the pizza board and not me. I ended up boxing most of it for my housemate. Mark wanted dessert, and they have something called "The Spot Ice Cream Sandwich," which is a brownie or assorted cookie with vanilla ice cream and toppings. Mom asked whether he could simply order the brownie by itself, and our server Victor said he would ask, but we never actually got an answer. One thing that really annoys me at restaurants is charging $4 for fountain drinks and then not keeping them refilled. Victor did eventually ask about refills, but by then the meal was basically over. Overall, this place wasn't bad, but it also wasn't great. The atmosphere and design are probably the strongest part of the experience. I wouldn't necessarily avoid it, but I also wouldn't go out of my way to come back. What made lunch even funnier is that next door at Cross Creek Ranch, there's a hanging sign advertising an "observation deck." We had debated going before lunch but decided to eat first and then check it out afterward. Much like the restaurant itself, the concept sounded far more impressive than the actual experience. There really wasn't much to observe. I just found it amusing that both experiences ended up being equally mediocre.

From the moment I walked in and laid eyes on Alejandro, he laid his curls on me. I knew this was going to be an unforgettable night. I mean, who needs a menu when you have a server so deliciously distracting that I could barely remember my own name? Creamy chicken that's what he made us all feel. As I tried to focus on the food (which was fantastic, by the way), it was like Alejandro's mere presence was turning up the heat in the dining room. His recommendations flowed smoother than a river of queso fresco, and I found myself nodding along to everything he said, even if it was just him reading the specials! The food felt orgasmic on my taste buds - each bite brought a new explosion of flavors that left me shimmying in my seat. And as for Alejandro's timing? If there's one name you need to remember when you come here, it's Jackson. Hands down, one of the best customer service experiences I've ever had -- anywhere. From the second I walked in, Jackson treated me with the kind of attention you'd expect at a five-star resort. Our family absolutely loves coming here, and every visit reminds us why. The food is consistently fantastic. The fries cooked in beef tallow are dangerously good, and the firestone-cooked pizzas are honestly some of the best around. Add a cold Ghost in the Machine on tap and it's the perfect combo. Their happy hour and daily specials are also awesome and make it easy to keep coming back. But what really makes this place special is the service, especially Tatiana. She always treats our family so well and genuinely makes us feel welcome. One time she convinced my very picky son to try her "twist" on his favorite dish, fettuccine alfredo, and somehow pulled it off. We actually ran into her again tonight and were genuinely excited to see she was still there. After catching up for a bit, she took amazing care of us as always. This place is much needed in the Katy/Cinco area. I stop by here often on my way home for the Beef Shwarama Wrap with Hummus and pita. It's mostly the only thing I order because it's always a solid clean meal I don't feel guilty about later, but is also packed with flavors. I usually sit at the bar for quick service and the best view for whatever game is on. The bartenders are always kind, attentive and friendly so I'm never worried about sitting there waiting. I almost always see Lizbeth behind the bar hustling and making sure everyone has great service and she has earned the 5 stars for this bar. We live in Katy proper, we use to go to Adriatic for the chicken Alfredo and sit with the amazing Gabi for hours at the bar, but she moved to "On the Kirb!!!"We were sad but not for long . We followed her to on the Kirb and I must say the staff including Emily, MJ and our very own GABI has definitely made a impact on us. On the Kirb is our place to go on Friday. They have a dish called shrimp cavatappi pasta, I've never had something so good in my life. We have tried so many dishes here and never disappointed. My only is they don't have CROWN VANILLA!!!! I have been to OTK several times since they opened in September of 2022 and every time we have had impeccable food and great service! I can't say enough great things about a waitress we have had several times named Kiely. She is always so friendly, professional and very attuned to our table which seems to be a lost art these days! She goes above and beyond to make sure we are always taken taken care of and always has a smile on her face! We have tried many dishes on the menu and are never disappointed! Our visit to this place was disappointing, especially for families with young children. They do not provide booster seats or high chairs, making it difficult to dine comfortably with a 20-month-old. Additionally, the menu, which appeared to have enticing vegetarian and vegan options, was misleading as some items labeled as vegetarian contained Parmesan cheese. Unfortunately, we had to leave shortly after receiving our food due to the lack of suitable seating options. Another great experience at On Kirb. Our waitress Anioha was outstanding and very pleasant. She checked on us multiple times. The manager Andres came out to speak to us to make sure everything was all right. in addition to the excellent environment and service, the food is always outstanding. I got the special dish with organic chicken and sauce and steamed broccoli and special rice which is outstanding and my friend Stephan got the fish tacos. Q was hands down the best server! He anticipated what I needed before I even had to ask and struck the perfect balance of being attentive without ever hovering. Our experience was just okay. We might give it another try, but aside from the pretzel, nothing really stood out or made us want to order it again. The service was the biggest disappointment. The restaurant wasn't busy, yet it took a long time for anyone to check on us. The waitstaff seemed more focused on chatting, folding napkins, and organizing menus than attending to tables. My first time coming to On the Kirb off 1093. Avery was our server this evening. She was a great server and made time to insure we had everything we needed with a delightful personality. Even though it was Tuesday Titos & Tacos night, we decided on the pizza, which was awesome. The atmosphere was perfect for conversation and watch a few different games. This location is new and did not disappoint. The atmosphere is fantastic and has tvs positioned all around the room so there is not a bad seat to watch a game. Food was amazing and the menu has a variety of items to fit any appetite. Tyler was our waiter and he was very professional, offered lots of advice on food and drinks.
