New burger spot on Manchester in the Goodwill shopping center. Very new so it wasn't too busy during lunch. The menu is very limited with 2 burger options which is OK. We ordered The OTB, which comes with their special sauce, as a combo. They have shake bit they do not have a soda machine as they come in cans which is convenient. The bad thing is no refills I assume. Food came out within a decent time and everything was just great. Better than I'd imagine. Burger patties were wider than the bun. Standard is 2 smash patties which were cooked to perfection. The sauce was really good too.. Fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Everything taste really fresh. Staff was friendly and they keep this place clean. A spot we will definitely return to. read more

Tried this new fast-casual restaurant while stopping by Mideast Market for groceries. This restaurant is in the same shopping plaza. The gentleman working the register was friendly and explained their small menu to us because we'd never been there. The only difference of the only 2 burger options is that the OKC burger has grilled onions. There are options to add to either burger for an additional charge . The employee suggested adding a fried egg. It took 10-15 minutes for 1 OTB burger and an OKC combo (burger, fries, and canned soda). On the Bun has a sparse but modern interior with a counter on one side and tables on the other. There were a few couples eating in while we were ordering takeout. I think the previous business must have closed recently and On the Bun quickly moved in and opened as there was not much interior décor yet. We weren't super impressed by the food but it also wasn't bad by any means. We're just not sure we can justify paying 27 dollars for a canned soda, 2 burgers, and 2 side of fries before tip. The burgers were very oily/greasy but I personally thought the flavor and texture was good for a smash burger. I wish them the best! I get my nails done next door to On The Bun. One day I was leaving the nail salon at the same time people were leaving the restaurant. I asked if it was good and they gave me rave reviews, so I decided we needed to check it out. We went around 6:00 or so one night. It wasn't crowded, but there was a decent number of people there. There was also a decent carry out business going on. The menu is not large! We each ordered the same burger and made it a combo. A combo includes fries and a drink. The drinks are in a fridge by where the orders are taken. You can get a can of soda, a bottle of water, etc. There is no alcohol. But they have really good shakes! We ordered shakes, but it's an add on - not any kind of substitution. I thought we could sub a shake and pay some extra, but no. And it was fine. We placed our order and chose the cleanest table available. Our shakes came out before our food did, but neither took a crazy amount of time. They bring it to your table when it's ready. There was a World Cup game on so most people were watching that. The space itself is a decent size and doesn't have much decor, but it looks nice. The staff we spoke with were nice and the food was pretty good! The burgers were large and neither of us finished them. The fries were okay. There wasn't really anything wrong with them, they're just not the kind of fries we like. Also, the bottom bun got pretty soggy. I just tried OnTheBun for the first time after hearing rave reviews. The service was nice and the interior was very clean. I would give my burger a 3.5/5 stars overall. I enjoyed the burger thoroughly, it tasted super fresh and it's an added benefit that it's halal. My main gripe was that the burger was super greasy and actually made the bun a bit soggy on the bottom. I understand that smash burgers aren't necessarily healthy, but this was the greasiest burger I've ever eaten. Tone down the grease and you'll be getting a 5th star, OTB. read more

This was the worst experience I've had at an establishment in a long time. We waited an hour and a half for our order, then after much confusion were told it was deleted. No apology. Not to mention the place was filthy. Bathroom trash was overflowing and nothing to dry your hands. One napkin dispenser was empty and jug of water for customers empty. They also had one big screen tv volume up loud showing fast and the furious. Had my children with me and there were many inappropriate scenes such as violent shoot up scenes. I was horrified. Service: the staff was friendly, but a bit overwhelmed as there was a lot of people waiting for their order.i waited about 25min to get my food to go. Too long of a wait you might say! Yah! But I forgive them, as they are a victim of their success. Ambiance: the ambience is what you would expect from a fast food restaurant, a bit noisy but understandably so. Cleanliness: at first glance, the restaurant appeared to reasonably clean. There was a lot of people waiting so I did not bother to go check the bathrooms. The food: the food was good, the Burger was delicious. The patties were fresh and crispy. The OTB sauce was what made the difference in my opinion. But is it worth that price? One can argue yes or maybe no. However when compared to places like 5guys or other specialty burger places I would argue that it is worth it. The verdict: I do believe that it is worth trying, at least once I my opinion. If you don't mind the hefty price of 5guys for a double patty burger, than you will be quite comfortable with your cost here. My only dissatisfaction, I would argue, if I am paying already for an expensive burger, I don't want to be asked for tips. I find it quite annoying and I would argue even insulting when ordering take out, at a fast food restaurant or coffee shop to be prompted with an option for tips. A burger and a shake should not cost almost $20 dollars, with tips and tax. Goddamn! Can you imagine if I come out with wifey for a burger and a shake!!! That'd be almost $40 dollars for both of us and that's including tips, tax.... Goddamn, that's criminal. I would perhaps go back again but not very often, same could be argued for 5guys, but they don't ask for tips. So for the quality of the burger alone, two thumbs up. read more

It comes with pickles, smashed onion, two patties, cheddar cheese, okc sauce, thin bun, and I ordered some Cajun fries w a canned Coke. The burger was scrumptious. They loaded me up with their okc sauce which was light and had some tomato base in it, thinner than mayo but delicious. The patties were juicy and two was a good portion, the Cajun fries weren't overly spicy, I paired it with spicy mayo and those were really nice together.
