Our young waiter was especially helpful with the menu. The food came quickly and was good. Unfortunately, not great. My wife and I both got the trio of meats, brisket, pulled pork and chicken. All were cooked well but under smoked for my liking. The sides we tried were all fresh but again, just good not great. We will try Gastropit again but honestly have had better tasting barbecue at nearby competitors. I know it is relatively new to the scene so overall, it was a good experience!

It was perfectly pink in the middle. The outside was black and it was very salty. The bottom bun was so soggy, I didn't even use it. Our appetizer of jalapeño poppers was the highlight! We have food allergies so we were not able to try their mac 'n' cheese. We did enjoy themed cocktails. The server was exceptional (attentive, efficient and knowledgeable about our allergies). In addition to cocktails, I tried a GF hard cider. The trivia itself was hosted by an outside company (not Dirty 20 Bar).
