I am writing this review with great happiness. As a certified klutz, I have visited swift repairs a…read morenumber of times over the years. Each time, they have delivered swift (as the name implies), high-quality, and honest service. As any repair shop is, prices aren't cheap, but I have found that you get what you pay for (and your devices can be something you shouldn't cheap out on.) Swift repairs deliver services with moderate pricing and great quality. I have also never had a problem with customer service. There is usually only one person working at a time, but that does not hinder me from a great experience. Yesterday, I went in to fix my phone that had water damage. I never asked him his name, but a young gentleman who had longer dark hair had helped me. He told me the pricing of a higher-quality screen versus an aftermarket screen, and what the w might be. As a consumer I greatly appreciate this honesty as I do not feel like I'm being charged and it further helps build my trust with swift repairs. He repaired my phone and literally less than two minutes, which to be fair. I'm sure my screen was an easy fix, but even when I have had more complicated damage, they have always made sure to prioritize and balance my order among plenty of others. All these factors kept in mind has left me overall many great experiences with this store. I highly recommend it for anyone that has any issues with electronics. Thank you!

He looked at it and asked asked :you want the cheap option or want me to do it the right way?. To which i replie. "how much is cheap and how much is the "right way?" He responded "I can make it work and keep it simple for $80 or we can order new parts and it could cost up to $250" Since this was a 3 year old laptop, I opted for the simple and cheap option. All good, its been over a month and im happy with the well spent $80

Just drove to Computer clinic and visited my first trip. I wanted to look around and speak to…read moresomeone to see the general awareness of systems. Good looking, relaxed atmosphere and fantastic feedback/ knowledge from Jake is a pleasant outcome. I requested a cpu/ microprocessor replacement (i5 245k to i7 270k). I explained my concern, MOBO sockets have the pins and the CPU/ BGA just has pads, and in my day it was the other way around. Since I've had macula off retinal detachment in my R. eye and multiple retinal tears/ surgeries in my left doing it myself without possibly bending pins compelled me to get help. And I stated that I would supply thermal paste and processor. Jake provided a written quote and was overtly careful to remove the nominal charge for in house thermal paste. He showed concern for the misery of 8 eye procedures. But we also enjoyed a chat about technique spreading the paste. Two days later I brought the system in and in 24 hours I had it back. Clean, no smeared paste, secured, the system is physically as I delivered it. Once home I checked operating temperatures, device manager, and several other things. All systems are functional. I'm not a gamer and I am picky about stuff running at startup so changing a few things from automatic to manual, turning off Intel application optimization, and deleting an orphaned startup icon is all I needed- btw the icon was the malware/ virus scan shortcut. Next, was going to be a gpu upgrade, pny 5060 8gb to asus dual 5060ti 16gb OC. I did that myself, carefully with plenty of light. Thank you Jake (Computer Clinic).. Outstanding! If you bring them a computer neglected and abused don't dump on them when they can't make it like new. They may work a miracle but you cannot escape your responsibility.

A couple days later they called and said they blew fans on it and it wasn't powering on. I asked them if they checked the power rails and they said no but they'd look at it further. When I came back in to pick it up, they recommended I go to another place that works on macs. While they were nice and agreed to look at in further, I felt like they didn't really have much experience with Macs based on their minimal troubleshooting plan.

I'm sure we've all experienced that pimple faced sales guy at Frye's that makes you feel like a total moron. Well this was the exact opposite. He was very thorough and helpful. He made a few recommendations after doing a review of my system. I must say I am very pleased with the results. He doesn't try to up-sell you or make a bunch of extra money on "parts". He had me buy all my own parts at Frye's, and he installed them for me. We did review my procedures to make sure I was doing back-ups properly and often enough., De-fragging and all that stuff.
