I had the pleasure of working with Bryan Bustillo from On Point Tree Service to do a large pine tree removal and stump grind at my rental property in Houston. Bryan's response time was very quick,and he had a quote to me the first day. The quote was very reasonable, so I asked for a quote for additional vegetation removal. Living in California, I had not been to the property in several years, so Bryan suggested that he would face time me and give me a visual tour around the entire house to determine what needed to be done. With Bryan's input, we decided to completely remove all vegetation and grind out the stumps. The job was completed within 2 days of approving the final proposal. At the jobs completion, Bryan contacted me and a time was set for a second face time visual tour to get my approval of the completed job. I found out about this company from my friend's Facebook post. I needed a huge tree (2 trees on 1 trunk, over 30 ft high) in my backyard cut asap bc my branches were leaning over into my neighbor's yard and on my roof. After researching a few tree companies, I decided to try out this company. Pros: 1. Reliable 2. Reasonable prices (other places charged $200-$500 more for my tree; only 1 other person charged the same price but wouldn't finish in a timely manner) 3. Communication (Bryan was straight forward, honest and not "salesy") 4. Trees and branches gets cut immediately in their truck 5. Fast timing (called Bryan on Monday and he showed up the same day; then called him on Tuesday morning and had a crew come over to my house later that afternoon. The crew finished in a couple hrs) 6. Friendly crew Cons: 1. Crew broke part of my fence that was connected with my neighbor's when taking the tree down; however they "fixed" the fence afterwards. I told Bryan about it and he gave us a small discount/refund Overall, I would recommend this company despite of a minor mishap. This past August I had my large oak tree fall onto the front of my house and come thru the living room ceiling at 11:45 pm. We couldn't get out of our front door because of the tree. I called On Point Tree Service and even though I live in Garden Oaks , two men were here within an hour to get the tree limb that was sticking thru my living room ceiling out, and cleared a path for us to get out the front door. I remember one of the guys , I think it was Luis was out on a date , and left his date to come help us out! It took two days for them to completely remove the tree and grind the stump down, but it was amazing, they had a new crew for every phase of the tree removal ! This past Thursday after Houston's 80 mile per hour wind and thunderstorm hit , I called them once again since a large part of my back yard oak tree came down just barely missing the back of my house. Today , Monday May the 20th, the crew showed up again, and expertly cleared my tree limbs that were on the ground , removed four large dangling tree limbs , trimmed the tree to help balance it out, and left me with raked clean yard !!! Bryan, I have to tell you how amazing your employees Benito and Walter are! My across the street neighbor in Olde Oaks/Northgate area (Spring), were in her front yard staring up at a tree with a cat who had been high in the tree for 3 days. Benito was driving by and stopped and asked if we had questions about that tree. Our question was can you help get that cat down? It's a long and funny story but basically Benito left and cam back with Walter who claimed the tree better than the cat, made a lasso, got the cat and slowly pulled the cat toward him. As the cat got close to Walter (she wasn't real happy at this point) she slipped the rope and fell to the trash can Benito had filled with a pillow below. I believe Benito may have a "thank you" mark or two from the cat, given before she sped off for some much needed food or water. We have some trees that need attention and they gave us some advice. These guys are going to get all my tree service from now on!! I had a 50 plus foot tall, 2.5 plus foot diameter, dead pecan tree that was just waiting to fall on the house. I've had several quotes, but none of them would take a credit card. Luis and his crew were across the street doing a job and Luis came and asked me about my dead pecan tree. Luis was very nice, gave me a good quote, and said they accept credit cards for payment. He told me they would take care of my smaller dead tree as well. He said the guys would start on it as soon as they finished across the street. The crew started as soon as they finished across the street and did an amazing job. I still don't know how they kept that huge tree from hitting the house when bringing it down! I contacted this business through Thumbtack. Charli got back to me same day, within a few minutes actually. We had a young tree die in our front yard and wanted to replace it. Charli said he could be out the next day, in the morning to give a free estimate. He was prompt and called me when he arrived. He confirmed, tree was definitely dead, maybe due to fire ants/overwatering/poor install. We decided that we were going to replace the tree. Charli offered same day services. We picked a tree with the help of Charli and he sent a crew to remove the old tree and replace it with the new one. Seamless process and pricing was good. On Point is the real deal. Been using 'em since Sept 2022 and they've never once let me down. Pricing is actually fair - which is a miracle these days - and they're pros through and through. Sent a few buddies their way and they all raved about the price vs quality too. They just finished a total masterpiece today. I had two absolute unit oaks right up against the house. They did a full topping with laser measurements and honestly worked like surgeons. My yard is a total minefield of cables, patio tables, and my wife's prized roses and azaleas, but they didn't nick a single thing. Insane amount of wood coming down but everything stayed intact. Luis with On Point provided excellent service at a reasonable cost. Someone was out to do my estimate the day after I called and they had Héctor and his team out to my house the same week. They did a great job cleaning up a tree that hadn't been touched in many years, including removing a branch that stretched over my neighbors house. The guys in the tree worked safely with appropriate fall protection and they cleaned up and hauled off all the debris, raking and blowing as they went. They also cleaned up some surface roots later the same day and had the same attention to safety. On point was polite, courteous, and safe from the first phone call to the last handshake. I got One Point Tree Service's name from the neighborhood app. Benito came out right away to give me a fair estimate to cut down, haul away, and grind 2 large trees. His price was less than the price of one tree just to be cut down at my mother's place a month ago. Jose's team came out to cut down the trees. It was fun watching them work together with precision. They had the trees down in no time. Left zero mess. The next day Mr. Bustillo, the owner, brought his team out and tackled the large heavy logs and ground the stumps. Charlie and his crew were amazing and fast. He gave me an amazing price to remove and grind the tree stump. I have seen some bad and good reviews so I was worried but be assured you do not have to worry with Charlie. he was out same day I requested a quote and the crew cut down the entire tree and removed the limbs. the next day they ground the stump and then the 3rd day removed all the large pieces of tree and a good portion of the shavings from the grinding of the stump. It is impossible to remove all of the shavings. Communication was great between all the different workers and Charlie as well. If you need great, fast, friendly and great price give Charlie a call. Brian and his team were amazing!! I called around 730pm and needed them to pick up a pile of tree branches that I cut off from the front of the house. He was the only company/ person that accepted to do it that late in the evening. He said he was arriving Within an hour and actually made sooner. Guys worked so efficient and were very professional. Benito Flores and his crew did an amazing job taking care of a complicated 40' tree removal on a windy day. They charged a reasonable, fair price that was half of the other quotes I got. The dead tree was overhanging my property and two neighbors' properties next door. The crew made expert use of rope riggings to safely bring all the massive branches of the 40' tree down to earth safely and efficiently. They were prompt, friendly, and highly competent. They fed all the pieces through the woodchipper and used a leaf blower to thoroughly clean the street and yard after. He quoted the best price of many bids and also offered me a 10% discount they were offering for the month. The workers showed up promptly the next day at 8 am.
