I actually cannot say enough good things about this business. When my fiancé and I finally decided to move from del mar to carlsbad we were considering movers, but everyone with great reviews was expensive, whereas everyone well in our budget was shady sounding. But, we were moving to a 3rd floor walk up, we're in our late 20s, and our friends are no longer so easy to bribe with the promise of pizza and beer. So, we went with New City, figuring that spending the extra money would be worth the safe arrival of our belongings. They arrived precisely on time and parked their truck in the tiny, awful alley adjacent to our building seamlessly. They went right to work. They were fast, quiet, and so efficient. They were all incredibly polite, and even good with our terrified, barking dog. The leader of the trio did all the talking and was fantastic - he even packed up some things that I'd planned on driving over to the new place, assuring me they would not be damaged. They arrived at our new apartment and seriously, SERIOUSLY, hauled all of our stuff up 3 flights of stairs like it was nothing at all - I mean a sectional sofa, a metal queen bed frame - not all easy stuff. They even stopped to ask where, generally, to put the big stuff, thereby saving us time and trouble later. Here's the best part: they arrived at our door in delmar at 8am, and they set the last boxes down in carlsbad at 10am. WHAT?! When it came to doing the paperwork, our final bill was LESS THAN HALF of the quoted estimate. I really cannot express how these guys turned an experience like moving into something easy and pleasant. Hard working, efficient, polite, and affordable. Don't look anywhere else for movers - I can't imagine it gets better than this. read more

Great guys! Used them about a month or so for a three-bedroom move ( after the company I originally booked with bailed on me two days in a row - yes after numerous calls told me that they guy on the phone failed to book me because of his troubles with English!!) Anyways, that's what you get booking with an unlicensed company. Well learned my lesson, checked the companies, called a few. The guy from On Point seems to be the most legit and calming)), I booked for the next morning. Three movers were right on time, even gave a call 15-min in advance to let me know they were in route. We were still packing, two guys started loading a truck, while the third helped us to finish packing, took off the tv from the wall and disassembled the bed. In our new place they put the bed back together, brought in all the boxes and connected my washer and dryer. They were very patient with me changing my mind multiple times about where the sofa would look the best. Overall the move took about seven hours. The crew was very fast, very efficient and very much On Point )). Two guys were veterans - very easy-going, respectful and firm people. Will definitely use for my future moves. Fast and affordable. I was told by one of the movers "quick feet & gentle hands" is their moto and they definitely follow through with that. They were super professional from 1st phone call all the way through paying afterwards. 1 month ago I moved my house and used a company that was SUPER expensive but I was impressed by their customer service & professionalism. This month I had to move my office and I figured I would give a different company a try and found On Point. On Point moved SOOOOOO much faster than the more expensive company. I think the other company was "taking their time" because they get paid more the longer it takes. On Point did ALL the same things, like wrapping everything and moving it safely in & out of the truck - but took a FRACTION of the time that the expensive company took. Seriously, I can't believe how SLOW the expensive company was, now that I realize you can have careful movers that aren't trying to stall the process to charge more. Moving can suck but it doesn't have to be that way. Do yourself a favor and hire On-Point. read more

My son booked On-Point Moving to help him with his move from Camp Pendleton to Downtown San Diego. My husband and I came for a visit and to help him move. We ourselves have moved multiple times and every time it was hectic & stressful. But with these movers it was a completely different experience-they were right on time, very efficient, very polite, careful and haha right on point! They even disassembled the bed and put it back together in the new place. I was surprised to learn that they were veterans and the owner is a veteran himself. We were happy to support our troops!! They totally had a full understanding with my son who is active duty military himself. He told me that in his five years of constant moving-these guys were the best company he encountered. Well I guess the discipline really makes a difference. Overall the move took about five hours total for a two bedroom condo with garage. These guys were flying. This review is long overdue. I usually do not bother with moving companies when I move. I have always had plenty of friends with pickup trucks and what not, but in September my move was last minute. I called On Point Moving and they scheduled me, came out the next day WITHOUT charging extra, and moved me within 3 hours like it was nothing. All the guys working were military veterans, which is a plus considering I am one myself. They were all polite, friendly, and very professional. They even gave me a discount for being a veteran. I am not a slow working by no means, but Chris and John were moving as fast as it gets. They were making me tired and I was not doing anything. I had to stop them to offer water. I'm upset with myself that I can't remember the names of the 2 guys that moved my things on 10 September 2017, but they were great! They were very friendly and easy to talk to. Moving in / out of a studio apartment can be difficult, and I'm glad these guys knew what they were doing when they handled my furniture and belongings. Put it to you this way.... if my friends and I moved my stuff as originally planned, I would probably need new furniture. We had a little bit of a challenge when it came to getting my couch out of my studio and into the truck, but it was done. All of my belongings made it to my new location safely. I hope they enjoyed the bottles of water and donuts I provided as a thank you for their hard work. On Point Moving was a life saver. I recently sold my house. (4 bedroom). and I booked with another company. Low and behold, they canceled on me last minute. I had to be out by that same day. I called several moving companies who said they cannot move me last minute. Then I called On Point. Andrew was very nice over the phone and was able to move me same day. Robert and Roland were very fast, efficient, professional, and very safe with my items, No Damages at all. I hired this company for a second time, because of how great of a job they do. They gave me a very reasonable quote. They arrived on time. They were well prepared. I tried to stay out of their way as much as possible, but still observed that they take care in what they do, and planned out their movements to keep my belongings from damage. Definitely professionals at what they do. I honestly wish I had more cash on me to tip them more when they were done. If you hire a different moving company, you are missing out on amazing people. Chris, Ryan, Matt, and Hiram will never add us to their Christmas card list after what we put them through today (4 locations, two stories at both homes, and REALLY heavy furniture), but I'd invite them over to open presents anytime. These guys far exceeded our expectations! I chose this company because it is "Veteran Owned" and therefore, I had high hopes, but they still surpassed!!! It was a very hot day and I underestimated just how much stuff we had. They adapted and overcame. The speed at which they moved and the care they took with every item I've never witnessed before in a move. Yes I really like this company i got a discount for being a repeat customer! These guys are always nice and friendly. Roberto and Sylviano helped me and did an AWESOME job! They were nice and careful with my things nothing broke so i was happy! The only thing i didnt like it last time i was not charged for drive time. and this time i was.35 mins. rounded to 30....x2 to equal another hour. Ryan and Chris were awesome!! They helped move my husband Nate and I from Mission Valley to East County. Very affordable. Extremely professional, everything was well packed and arrived without a scratch. They work Hard! Not once did I see either of them stop they constantly were in and out of the truck swiftly unloading setting unwrapping and unloading again. I scheduled a team of four guys to helped us move our office furniture from a first floor to a second floor. The crew was on time and started right away after I gave them my instructions. They grew worked very well together as a team and we were done moving sooner than expected. On a personal note, I was constantly moving items/boxes and when the guys saw me caring anything they immediately asked if I needed help or took the box from me. On Point Moving was about 20 minutes late but after that the crew was very good. They brought plenty of packing blankets and plastic wrap to make sure our office furniture got moved safely. Hawaiian Ryan was the lead mover and was assisted by Sam and Greg. Ryan showed good communication and was very friendly. We booked with LLC moving and they decided not to show up and screened our phone calls when we inquired where they were for our already paid for appointment through living social.
