I'd never been to a neighborhood bakery before, so I was excited to try it after dinner. I was surprised at how late it opened and how many people were there. Unfortunately, I think the food was a bit too sweet despite how beautiful it all looked. We ordered a Fudge Cake, and we couldn't finish it because it was way too sweet. The cake itself was a bit wet, but I'm not sure what it was soaking up, and the ganache itself tasted like straight sugar. Not sure if I will come back again but the idea of a neighborhood bakery/deli is very cute indeed! read more

Everything Ive tasted here has been so delicious. They have the best almond cookies in all of New York City. The staff here is extremely kind and always welcoming every time I come in I write this place a 10 out of 10 I come here every time I'm near Cathedral Parkway. Have been coming here since it opened and it's been a great addition to the neighborhood! It's more like walking into your family's house, the staff are so friendly the pastries and sweets are delicious they also have fantastic Gelato and coffee. Admittedly, some of the cakes can be hit/miss depending on what you ordered. The Galaktoboureko and the chocolate fudge cake have been delicious. I've had the 7 layer cake two times - the first time it was amazing and the second time, it was a bit dry like it had been sitting out for too long. I've also had the baklava cheesecake and it wasn't anything special in my opinion. There's usually not a line - quick service. Overall, good place if you know what order. read more

Stopped by to take a look. They have a pretty nice selection of cakes and desserts. I did come here while I was hungry and wanted to buy multiple items. I ended up getting two slices, total came out to $16. They are rather large but still insane pricing for two slices of cake. The staff wasn't particularly friendly. All business. Got in and got out. They asked me if I wanted the slices packed separately or together. In the name of conservation I opted to have it packed together. They put the two slices in one of those square transparent takeout containers that snap together in two corners. I was careful all the way home so that the two wouldn't fall over and touch each other 4/5 Tres leches slice - yum!! I really enjoyed this slice. There was a layer of fruit and cream between the cake layers. The cake was already moist but the fruit made that even better. Fruit pieces tasted like and had canned fruit texture. 1.5/5 Rice pudding cheesecake - havent seen this anywhere else before so i decided to try it. Could not taste rice pudding from this, neither did it have a cheesecake flavor either. It was grainier than traditional cheesecake, not great. Quite disappointing, I didn't finish this slice. Fun concept, poor execution. Would not return or recommend. read more

I am so thrilled this opened in the neighborhood. Incredibly friendly staff, of course excellent baked goods, great coffee and fabulous gelato.
