His fitness training contributed to an uncomplicated and quick delivery; I had plenty of strength and stamina to push the baby right out, and I was recovered enough to be back at the kettle bells a week later. The accountability of needing to show up to an appointment (even when I'm tired), the laser-focus on keeping my form correct, and the encouragement to push myself has made personal training more effective for me than the weightlifting I was doing on my own. He even helped adjust types of kicks and warmups for some feet issues I have and still helps me with wrapping my hands anytime I need it. On top of it it is an absolutely killer workout! The atmosphere here is supportive from top to bottom and you quickly learn that your competition is less external than it is internal. If you're looking to duke it out with some cauliflower-eared galoot who's still upset about being cut from the Octagon, then look elsewhere. If you're looking for something more sublime, give this place a whirl. They'll still teach you martial arts, but you'll never hear anyone talking about how you need to destroy your opponent.
