Karan is a great fitness coach! Takes time to understand why you want to hire him and then holds you to what you tell him! During our sessions, he is constantly watching my form, and telling me to make small changes while I'm doing reps to better isolate the muscle group, remove stress points and prevent injury (super important!). He's also a great conversationalist, and keeps you engaged throughout the session with helpful tips on exercising, stretching, nutrition, and sports chatter (golf!). Karan is awesome! read more

I have been training with Karan for the past two months and it's absolutely amazing. There are many things that I like about our sessions - he helps correct a lot of my forms that I was doing wrong on my own, he is always very punctual and at the same time super flexible and works with my schedule. Moreover, he keeps reminding me to focus on my diet and because of that I have increased my protein intake. read more

I feel very happy and proud to review about this business . Karan is great coach and trainer and keep you engaged with sessions and always keep you motivated. I joined him in March ,2023 just to give it a try for 10 sessions as I was dealing with my left frozen shoulder and right arm with clavicle fracture(healing after surgery). I had very limited mobility of both my arms and it was just a matter of few weeks after I joined Karan my mobility was almost back to normal And I was so very happy after ten sessions that I joined the his yearly program to continue my training and above all after my progress my wife and one of my neighbors also joined the same program with Karan. I highly recommend anyone who wants to keep themselves fit and healthy at any stage of their life to give Karan a try and I am very sure you won't regret. read more

My wife and I were looking for a fitness coach and decided to start with Karan. He took time to understand our lifestyle, availability and expectations and tailored sessions accordingly. As a person Karan is very friendly and adjusting. There were days when we couldn't make it to the session and he was kind enough to reschedule them. He also provides lifestyle tips based on his 22 years experience training people. We loved and enjoyed our training sessions with him and would highly recommend Karan if you are also looking for a fitness & lifestyle coach. read more

Karan is a legitimate, knowledgeable trainer who will cater to your needs. I've been working with him for a few years and even on the days I don't want to train he will make sure I'm there. Waking up and seeing yourself in the mirror is daunting for a lot of people, but no matter what state your body is in, he will ensure you get to your goal body. I would highly recommend working with him as he will also draw out a meal plan and will not rush anything. I've never had an injury training with him and he takes this very seriously. A few months ago, I had a pretty negative outlook on life and felt like I was digging myself a hole I could never climb out of. That was when I decided to start training with Karan. Fast forward 4 months - the only thing I regret about my decision is that I did not make it sooner. Unlike many other trainers, Karan did not ask me to change my lifestyle but rather make small improvements to it over time - which is not only easier but more realistic than those programs that force you to follow very specific diet plans. He is a fun person to train with and understands what you need. Every week, I feel increasingly active and better than I've ever been in my entire life. Needless to say, this is by far the best decision I have ever made and if I could go back, I would do it again. Thank you, Karan. Looking forward to many more months of training! read more

I contacted Karan among some others, to get started on a fitness routine and he was prompt and flexible in meeting up and going over my goals. He took the time to understand what I wanted out of our sessions and even provided a full complimentary hour to explain his style and how we could work together. I have been quite pleased with the sessions and found him to be very friendly, making sure I was keeping a comfortable and non- stressful pace. Would highly recommend if someone was looking for a trainer. read more

I have been training with Karan now for over 6 months. I can say, without hesitation, he is the best trainer I've worked with thus far. He possesses the knowledge and skill to help me identify my goals (short, mid and long term) and the patience and commitment to help me get there. Karan is also a friendly and personable guy, whom I have become friends with during my training and he keeps the sessions lively with conversation and joking, but still serious enough to get actual work done. When I first came to him, Karan evaluated me and even consulted a nutritionist to make sure my training program would yield maximum results and really focused on a full body, paced program. Karan is always on time and works with my flexible work schedule. And sometimes when work/life comes up, Karan is always willing to accomodate. He works out of several gyms and at several times during the day, which works well with my work schedule. It's really easy to just zip over for a session with him and get back to work, or commute home. If you're looking to finally make a change in your life (whether it be your physical appearance, health, sports training, etc), look no further than Karan. He's your guy, he'll get you there, and he won't let you down! Thanks Karan!!! read more

I trained with Karan for some time. This was my first time with a trainer. I found Karans routine to be effective and practical at the same time. My main focus was on lower body and cardio. Karans regimen, both on and off the gym ( diet plan ), worked well. Additionally, I found Karan's persona to be quite approachable and friendly. I would defintely recommend Karan as a personal trainer to ppl who are interested. read more

I trained with Karan 3x a week for a month while I stopped in San Jose, I was looking to build a new habits, get momentum going and ultimately feel stronger and fitter. Karan had a great attitude and really paid attention to the troubles I've had with my knees altering the sessions and plan as required, his sessions challenged me at times but as a result of pushing me I'd started feeling stronger in the weeks I worked with him. When our sessions came to an end, Karan created a workout plan for me that took into consideration my knees and was easy enough for me to follow on my own. I'm pleased to say that three weeks on I'm still doing my workouts 4x a week, really enjoying the plan he created and seeing the results of my hard work. If you're looking for a personal trainer that can carefully balance your goals, push you that little bit further so you see results and is lovely to work with, you should definitely keep fit with Karan! :) read more

In January, I had a sciatica flare-up from herniated lumbar discs that left me unable to walk for several days. After weeks of PT, I wanted to find a trainer who could help me get stronger, leaner and build a more stable core so I don't have to go to the hospital again. Working with Karan, three days a week for these past two months has really improved my strength, my core stability and my confidence that, at age 49, I CAN get back into shape and not fear getting older with lumbar issues. So far, I've gone down about one dress size...and two more to go! read more

I have been training with Karan for a few months and I can honestly say he's not the average trainer. Consistency is by far the biggest hurdle when getting in shape, but Karan makes it easy by being extremely flexible and understanding of hectic work schedules and busy lives, without that I probably wouldn't have been able to go as regularly as I have been. Karan is an expert in physiology and nutrition which is something many trainers lack and in my opinion very important for success. I have Karan to thank for my results to date! read more

Karan has been my personal trainer since April 2012. When I met him, I had just lost 15 lbs but my cholesterol was still really high and I needed help to keep the weight off, lower my cholesterol and focus on strength training. With Karan's persistence and customized training routine, I have managed to lose another 10lbs, got my cholesterol to normal levels and probably the strongest I have been in a very very long time. Karan remains very vested in ensuring that I continue to make long term and sustainable changes to my lifestyle. Karan is a great trainer, let's start there. He really puts the 'personal' in personal trainer. I hadn't had much time at the gym I typically go because my wife had a baby and we haven't had the time to workout. We knew Karan already and figured he could whip us into shape. That's exactly what he's doing the last few weeks. He's able to get us a good workout even though my wife and I are at different fitness levels. I have a torn muscle in my back which Karan has shown great focus on working correctly, and also knowing when to avoid it when needed. Karan also knows exactly which exercise routines to do with my wife who was pregnant up until 3 months ago. Karan understands people's body types and fitness levels, and is great at shaping workout sessions around them. He makes it fun also! 10/10! read more

I started training with Karan over 2 months ago. Since then, I've been happy with the progress and results we have made! In 2-3 weeks, I lost inches and went down about 2 percent in body fat. We are targeting areas I would like to see tighter and the results are telling us it is working. I like how we are tracking progress with measurements for us to see what needs to be done. I learned that I don't need to be dripping sweat or doing high intensity cardio to trim down, which is huge for me because I thought I did. I actually had to slow down a bit with my cardio to keep a targeted heart rate that burns fat efficiently when we checked my heart rate! I feel empowered and happy not to feel like I am dying in the gym anymore and at the same time achieving results! haha! Karan is also pleasant and professional to work with. Thanks Karan! read more

Karan is the best!! I did Triathlons for a year but was new to strength training. He took it from the very basics starting from posture to gradually increasing weights. The improvement curve was tremendous. Karan kept spinning and mixing things to keep it interesting! The sled push is my most favorite amongst all! What really works with Karan is he quickly figures out what drives you at a personal level and executes to it. All our talks right from Netflix shows to Politics are cherry on top and you barely realize when an hour passes by despite the intense workouts! I highly recommended Karan!! read more

I have trained with Karan for over a year. When I began I was in terrible shape from years of work and no exercise. My work, with its repetitive motion, had done a number on my posture. I had dug myself into a hole, and Karan has never missed a beat getting me out. I'm now in better shape than I thought possible. Karan is a very gifted trainer, and a really nice guy as well. He has a mastery of what training is needed - what to do, how much, and above all correct form and posture. He has managed my progress with care and understanding. I am very grateful. I recommend Karan highly. read more

I started working with Karan just over a year ago. The goal was to get back into shape and strengthen my back muscles following 16 hours of cervical surgery and a long recovery period. We had to start slowly and stay within my limitation-30 minutes, 2 days a week. Karan used his extensive knowledge and patience of dealing with re-hap situations to my advantage. He was most willing to incorporate suggestions from the physical therapist to address my specific nerve-entrapment issues and limited mobility, suggested by my pain-management doctor, into our regime. Now, I am up to an hour workout, 3 days a week. I have regained my strength and improved my flexibility and the plus is a loss of over 50 pounds. My doctor is very happy with my continued progress and my physical therapist has asked for Karan's name should such a coordinative effort be benifit to her current or future patients as she calls me a "miracle". I must be honest and say that when I started with Karan, I was less than enthusastic. My husband had met and personally trained with Karan at the San Jose Athlethic Club and he told Karan about me. That is how Karan came into my life. That first day, I was scared. I had had several bad experiences with trainers who pushed me and I suffered injuries. Now, after the surgeries, I was scared, an injury at this point would be devistating. AND TO BE HONEST- I had always thought exercise was a necessary evil. But, Karan was different. He really knows his stuff. He was understanding of my misgivings about my past experiences; my fearfulness of being injured; and my total dislike of being pushed beyond my capabilities. He said it would be no problem-and he has kept that promise. That was the agreement we made when we started and it has continuted to this day. Every session is varied, depending on my physical situation on that day-but whatever that is, it is fun. I NEVER knew exercise could be fun, but with Karan, it is. I now look forward to opening the door and seeing him come through and seeing what he has in store for me that day. I love all the compliments I am getting as to how wonderful I look and I especially love going to my closet and pulling out all the favorite clothes I have not worn for years and having them fit beautifully. Thank you Karan. I could not have done it without you...J read more

I have been getting trained under Karan for past 2 months...Karan is an excellent trainer, very hardworking, and will not let you get away with anything that keeps you from achieving your fitness goals. He is excellent in motivating. He trains each completely differently depending on their training goals: fitness targets, likes & dislikes, body types and perspectives. . I am mainly working on my posture and back fat, he makes sure I do the right exercise in right amount not pushing my body and end up doing nothing the next day.
