Our customer service at Omidimo in Florence was exceptional! Roberto worked with all four of us to find the perfect jacket for our bodies. My husband is a larger man and was about to give up since the cut was too small for him. Roberto suggested that he could custom make a jacket for him and ship it to us in the US. We were a little unsure but decided to go ahead and order the custom jacket. It arrived today and fits perfectly! Roberto is an amazing stylist! This is a lovely shop with very high quality leather goods. My daughter and I purchased four leather jackets from them, custom made. They were shipped to us in three weeks, as promised. The workmanship on these leather goods is exquisite...very high end, for about half the price that you'd pay in the US. Most importantly, the customer service is beyond fabulous. If you're looking for a wide variety of leather jackets definitely check out this store! The owner had so much knowledge on the types of jackets and they had a variety of styles and colors. The jackets were fairly priced and high quality. I was looking for a certain style in a specific color and the owner said if he doesn't have it in store he can make it specifically for you and ship it to you. I went to Italy for the first time this summer with my dad and on our last day in Florence, we went to a market and these guys were right at the start. They were super nice and helped me find the right jacket for me. It fits very well and I wear it all the time. He is an awesome dude, he knows his stuff and he was a great deal of help to wife in finding the right fit and style for her. He genuinely wanted to guide her to a selection she loved, not just liked, and he never once pressured us into a sale. We spent maybe 20-25 minutes and having my wife try on jackets, and ultimately she came away happy with a handsome black-colored jacket. The jacket itself is quality leather ("baby lamb" as Johnny said) and is a traditional black with two solid green lines traveling down each arm. It is very soft. Zippers, pockets and lining are intact and functional. On top of everything I mentioned, the jackets were ticketed a certain price (~1200 euros) but we were given - and ultimately paid - 65 or 70% off of that. I thought it ended up being fair for the value of the product. It's all the real deal. If you're in the San Lorenzo area and are interested in finding a high-quality jacket with a store that has PLENTY of styles and sizes to choose from, I HIGHLY recommend you stop at Jimmy's.

They are made out of standard or substandard materials with basic construction. They're completely different. They have the best materials, and they use the best techniques. They do the best quality in exotic materials that most people do not have the experience to handle different leathers. You could certainly see how the quality of the purses, jackets, etc. spoke volumes of the leather's integrity and authenticity of the family's craftmanship. My husband and I stopped by Il Perseo around 2pm on a Saturday, and I instantly gravitated to a small, white leather purse with raffia. It was love at first sight. I thought that the design was unique, and the leather on the purse was soft like butter. The purse was also highly functional. I could convert it from a shoulder bag to a wristlet or a chain crossbody. I browsed around the store and found another purse that I could not steer away from. It was a soft green-like sage color with a deep red liner. The unique design of the purse, the extra pockets, and pops of color were what got me again. Similarly I could convert the purse from a shoulder bag to a crossbody. Sam also helped me and my husband choose the right leather jackets that aligned with our personal styles. Since he was also a tailor by trade, he offered to customize my husband's leather jacket to fit his torso and build. What I appreciated about the experience of buying a jacket with Sam was that he didn't try to push us on a sale at all. I personally went home with 2 purses and a jacket, and the prices were very reasonable for everything. I would highly recommend Il Perseo Leather, and go see Sam!
