I've only had takeout so this review is just for the food and not the ambiance or service. I love the chicken here! It's chopped up in small pieces so it's easy to eat. The bowl was big but it contained mostly rice- I mean way more rice than I've ever been served in a teriyaki chicken bowl and that rice was mushy. Came here during my lunch break. I called in to order and it was available promptly. About 15 min wait so it was perfect. I ordered the chimichurri chicken bowl plate. I love it You can get as much teriyaki sauce as you want. It's self serve. The normal chicken plate uses thigh meat. But if you want breast meat you can pay extra. I've tried the breast and thought it would be better, but actually it's not. The staff is friendly and they have a huge parking lot in the rear of the building. Pretty decent and filling teriyaki bowl/Peruvian fusion spot. My boyfriend ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl for $5.99 and I got the chimichurri chicken plate for $7.66 (+.50 for brown rice). Scrolling through Yelp, I came across a picture of a Lomo Saltado sandwich with a side of fries. It became my mission to go to OMGrill and try this sandwich! Located on Sherman Way and Rubio, parking is in the rear, or street parking. I didn't even look at the menu, I told the cashier that I was here for the Lomo Saltado sandwich. She said that was removed from the menu about 8 months ago. I felt my heart shatter in slow motion. I flinched twice, did a double take, and asked, "What did you say?!" Being in the mood for Peruvian cuisine, i opted for the anticucho beef plate which comes with thinly sliced beef, white rice, and a side salad for $8.25. The beef was nicely seasoned and the red sauce that came with the meal had a nice bold flavor. I preferred the chimichurri sauce, and asked for a side of that. Their chimichurri sauce is legit. Nice and garlicy! There is indoor and outdoor seating. This is a nice little teriyaki type place. ROFL @ The name I drive by here a lot, and I didn't realize that Mighty Burgers had closed until I saw the bright signs for a new place called OMGrill When I decided to stop in yesterday. I was surprised to find out that I had caught them on opening day. Normally, I like to cut a restaurant a little slack on there first week; but there is no need here. they did a great job. The menu is small, but somehow covers several continents. They offer burgers, teriyaki chicken, a couple of rice bowls, as well as some Argentine specialties too. I had a Lomo Saltado sandwich. It was a tender, beef sandwich with sauteed onions and peppers on a fresh French Roll. I was pleased to find that the sandwich includes avocado also. I ordered it in a combo with a large drink and some really good shoestring fries. With tax it came to about 9 and a half bucks. As you might expect on the first day, the place was spotlessly clean. I expect it would stay that was too. Business was pretty slow while I was in there mid-afternoon, and on of the employees was cleaning--maybe a better word would be detailing, the Coke fountain. This place is pretty bomb for what it is. I ordered the teriyaki chicken plate and the chicken was moist and had a charred flavored, not a bad one but the one that lets you know your meat was actually grilled. The Teriyaki sauce wass pretty standard. Overall i'd rather eat at this joint any day of the week over places like California Sushi & Teriyaki and even some actually restaurants because at the end of the day OMGrill does teriyaki chicken properly. My only beef with with the food was too much teriyaki sauce, but I just ask them to put it on the side now. P.S. Today was the first time I tried OMGrill. I have seen it around for a couple years and kept passing it up. Glad I stopped in today for lunch. I had the Oriental Chicken Salad. They loaded it with plenty of chicken. The chicken was white meat and cooked chimichurri style. Very tender and cut to perfect size to go in a salad. The chimichurri had this awesome flavor. It was my first time trying chimichurri. Almost seemed like a tiny bit of garlic to it. The lettuce for the rest of the salad was a good mix. The wonton strips made for a nice texture and added flavor. Just all around a great salad for a semi-reasonable price. I definitely need to try some of their other menu items soon. read more

Ok, so I've been here twice in 2 weeks. I think I just just stop there!!!! Another Yelp friend had stopped here a couple weeks ago and it made me curious since I live less than a mile away from here. First of all, great parking. Second, the place has never been full when I've been there. The staff is very helpful and they are on the ball. The food is great. I haven't had any of the burgers or the Teriyaki bowls but I had the Chimichurri mixed plate of beef and chicken and then I had the other plate mixed beef and chicken Antichuco. Both are awesome. They make that special Peruvian green sauce too that slightly spicy and super flavorful. Hands down, to top all this, are their french fries. They are crispy and hot and made perfectly. Parking can be located in the back but the entrance can be easy to miss. They have any kind of options you can imagine, white meat, dark meat, white rice/brown rice, veggies. I was originally gonna go straight for the teriyaki bowl, but the person ahead of me in line was picking up a chicken chimichurri plate and it looked bomb so I went with that. The plate includes steamed rice and a side salad with some sort of Italian vinaigrette. The salad was fresh but the rice was a little too clumpy for my taste (even for steamed rice) so I mixed in some of the chimichurri sauce to give it some kick. The chicken smelled amazing but tasted a tad plain, which I didn't mind too much because it was very naturally seasoned as opposed to covered in salt so much healthier than your typical fast food fare. I found that having a bit of chicken, rice, and chimichurri sauce in each bite striked the perfect balance and made the meal great. Prices are really great especially considering the amount of food you get. My meal was about $8 and I had to take more than half to go because it was pretty filling. With a plate you get the delicious chimichurri chicken, rice (make it brown for a small fee), and tasty salad with some sort of magically delicious dressing. It will fill you up, and it's pretty cheap. The restaurant is small, but there is always plenty of seating inside and out when we go for lunch. If you work in the area, give it a try. There are about 20 chairs and 7 tables in the whole joint. 3 are 4 seaters and the other 4 are 2 seaters as I said this a eat and run joint but very tasty.
