My mother has been coming here for quite some time and recently put me on to the shop as well. My first visit was nice, second was okay, but this third was absolutely horrible. My mother called to make an appointment for her, my sister, and me for a Friday at 12:30. We always arrive at least 5 minutes early, if not a full 15 just in case. We get there and as they are confirming the services, my mom corrects them to say she only booked 2 pedicures and just a toe polish change (this is key to the story). She and my sister were also getting hand services. They took my mom to start on her hand service and she changed her mind to do something that was QUICKER for them. So already, she's downgrading her service to accommodate them. My sister and I were directed to the pedicure chairs. Before they start, I told the guy doing my feet that I didn't want the deep tissue massage that came with the service due to a foot injury. I even repeated this to the guy who we thought was in charge that I needed the guy to go light on my foot. Showed him the scar and all. Needless to say that the guy didn't pay attention to that at all. He's just doing service as a routine, not caring about each customer individually. I had to stop him numerous times for going too hard, on top of stopping him other times because he wasn't listening. I was frustrated and in pain but kept cool. But what they did to my mom was what bothered me the most. The girl doing her hands stopped performing services on my mom and told her to go sit in a pedicure chair to get her toe color changed. Mind you, my mom was one hand from being finished. Instead of finishing, she sent my mom away and started doing a full set on another person. My mom politely asked BEFORE her toes were started on would the technician be done with this person by the time my mom's toes were done and she said yes. Of course this was a lie. She was basically starting a new service in the middle of my mom's service. My mom's toes were done in like 10 minutes and she sat there doing nothing for another 30 minutes. By the time my sister and I were done with our pedicures, the technician wasn't done with this new person. I pulled the guy who was acting as the manager aside and complained about the issue. He was doing everything to ignore me and rush the conversation. I sat there and waited for him to finish checking people out because I was going to speak with him no matter what. I explicitly asked him were they going to discount my mom's service because that made absolutely no sense. He said yes and then walked to start on someone's nails. Because they knew we were upset and basically about to leave with my mom's nails NOT completed, they rushed her into a seat right when my sister was getting up just so they could say she was being worked on. Again, I expressed she deserved some discount for the horrible service and wait. My mother could've been done in 5 minutes before the technician started on another girl. Anyway, we go to pay and the guy doesn't come back to the counter. Instead, he sends another lady who was nowhere near the situation. I hear my mom explaining the story over again and I walk over to join the conversation. This new lady says that they were overbooked and unfortunately were running behind in the girl who they took in the middle of my mom's service. We said that's no excuse to stop doing someone you're literally almost done with to start a whole new service. They then said that's they don't normally take 3 pedicures in one appointment, to which my mom responded she didn't make an appointment for 3 pedicures but for 2 pedicures and a toe nail color change. They said it was marked down as 3, which was clearly their fault. But then proceeded to say that they don't take 3 pedicures in one appointment but because they saw the appointment under my mom's name, they squeezed in. My mom rightfully responded that they shouldn't take appointments they don't have room for. But then also reiterated that doesn't explain why the girl stopped working on her when she was almost done. And then said the technician NEVER apologized. She never said anything when she resumed my mom's service. How rude! The woman at the front just brushed it off and excused this horrible behavior and customer service. They basically rewarded my mom's loyalty to their shop and bringing new customers (I.e. me and my sister) by giving her horrible service. Oh and top of that, they did NOT discount anything. When I brought it up that the guy stated he would compensate my mom for the issue, the lady said he doesn't have authority to say that. So then why didn't he say that when I was asking? So they all basically lied and didn't care about how wrong they did us. I can't express how disappointed I was in them for everything they did, especially to my mom. They lost 3 customers in 5 minutes because we won't be back. And I'm spreading the message far and wide. read more
