I'm still within the first year of the home being built and we've been having issues with all the interior and exterior doors. One location in particular was the rear French doors. These doors have been leaking through the glass pane since before the project was completed. The builder said they have addressed the issue before closing. Since it was not raining during the walk-through I cannot confirm whether the doors had been fixed or not. After moving in, we got our first rain and the doors around the window pain started leaking again onto the wood floors and buckle them. I have called the builder and Steve Forbes with 84 lumber multiple times about these defective doors and to no avail I have not gotten the doors replaced yet. Steve says to call the builder the builder says the call Steve. I'm not sure what the standard process is for 84 lumber to replace defective material but I know it can't be this. To other potential homeowners out there getting a house built. Please confirm where your builder/carpenter are purchasing their home package from, if they say 84 lumber of Westminster. Require them to purchase from another home package provider or just not the one in Westmister.

They had availability for two weeks later. I wasn't in a rush so I don't mind the wait. I wasn't scheduled for the 12-4 time window. On the day of I had a work commitment that came up last minute. They were very accommodating when I called so I was pushed further back on the timeslot till after 3 PM so I could be home for the service. The technician Isaiah arrived and informed me what he was going to do. Afterwards he sent me a detailed report with photographs of my gutter system. Thankfully, everything looked good and I did not require any additional services after the cleaning and tuneup.

For the first time I realize I had been hearing a fair amount of outside noise (which I'd apparently gotten used to), because these windows/doors are soundproof; now I don't hear anything at all from outside! And even better, the windows are easy to open, and my sliding glass doors actually slide well in the track, and are not shaking and drafty when it's windy outside -- major improvements from my old, builder-grade, 20+ year-old windows/sliding door. Further, the service crew was excellent -- careful, kind, professional, efficient, and they cleaned up everything afterwards. Roger, the foreman, has been doing this work for almost 30 years, and Jose, who single-handedly carried in/out the windows/doors, has been doing this work for 10+ years. I didn't get the name of the quiet third service person who was mostly outside and on the ladders, also very efficient. fyi, they did mention that working on the 4th floor of our condos from ladders was a bit more challenging as the original builder-grade windows had been made to fit by being packed/taped in place from the outside, which necessitated them having to actually break some of the glass to be able to pull the old windows out. But they did it - and did it well. Finally, Shaun, the project manager who gave me my estimate and oversaw the project from estimate, HOA approval process, to completion, was great.
