Food was wonderful! I believe this is the only true "fine dining" restaurant in the Jonesboro area, and I was pleasantly surprised! Each item ordered came out delicious and plated beautifully! Heather was our server and she was a real joy. She was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. She made excellent recommendations and made sure our drinks were never empty. Looking forward to coming again as they had some wonderful fish options that I would love to try. All in all, the experience was a pleasure. We came around 5:00 on a weekday and they weren't very busy. We may of been the only ones dining when we were seated..by the time we placed our order, they had started to pick up nicely. I look forward to coming back. Ambiance is more fine dining and upscale...while the restaurant was clean, the bathroom could use some extra attention.

    Wedge Salad Virgin Mojito

I was in town for graduation weekend and wanted to treat myself to a really nice dinner. I walked came in and walk in as a party of one. Me and the hostess quickly came to an agreement that rather than take up a table in the dining area on the first floor, I would go upstairs to the bar area and find an empty table there. I ordered a virgin Mojito from the bar. It was delicious. I wanted a refill, but the bartender/waiter never came back to offer, and it was hard to flag him down. I had studied the menu ahead of time so I already knew that I was going to have a wedge salad. It was perfection! While I'd also gone in expecting to eat the salmon, I decided to switch it up and order the redfish off the specials menu. it took way too long to get my food. It took so long that after a ridiculously long time, avoiding, my waiter/bartender came by to let me know that it would be a little while longer because another waiter had taken my meal to a different table. There was no concession offered for the additional wait. My waiter said that the redfish being built was very popular, so I thought it would be a good choice. It was the wrong choice. The fish was overcooked and thus dry. The Banville sauce on top had a good flavor, but it had clearly been broiled after the sauce was applied, so it was charred on top. So, I didn't even realize the sauce was there just by looking at the fish. I was about to stop the waiter to tell him that they forgot my sauce, when I decided to slice into the fish and realize that the blackened the area on top was the sauce. The bar area became increasingly busy while I was there as a more traditional dinner hour approached, and the bartenders who were doubling as waiters in that area became increasingly busy. Because of this, it was difficult to get anyone's attention, and so I struggled through about 1/3 of my redfish before I was able to stop someone. I asked if they could bring me some salt and see if the kitchen had additional Bienville sauce. Of course the bartender forgot because he got busy. He was stopping by my table to ask if I needed anything and then remembered that I'd already requested something, so he went off to go check into my original request. He brought me salt and circle back later to say that the Bienville sauce wouldn't be possible. At that point my remaining and asked for my check. I think he also forgot about it. Took about 15 to 20 minutes before the other bartender swung by with my bill. At that point, I had my credit card sitting on top of the table waiting for them, so he collected it and went off and brought me back the slips to sign. This is minor, but my check and signature slips did not come inside one of those little padfolios as all of the other tables (3) around me did. Overall, as a guest in the bar area, I felt forgotten. I waffled between whether I was mistakenly or intentionally overlooked. it truly felt intentional by the end. Other guests were getting through their meals so much quicker than me. In fact, a table of two that came in probably 20 to 30 minutes behind me had already paid their bill before I could even get mine. I watched one of the bartender/waiters attempt to force additional wine blowers on a table of two next to me well, no one ever offered to refill my drink. All said and done, I would totally go here to eat that witch salad again, and maybe try something else from the appetizer. But I would definitelyskip the bar area.

The service here is amazing. Our server was very attentive and quick to get what we needed. We had a reservation. We ordered the crab cakes as an appetizer, but they actually crab poppers. Tiny, unfortunately. They were good, but I was expecting actual crab cakes. My fiancé ordered a $70 steak and loved it. I ordered the crab encrusted salmon and was very disappointed. It wasn't encrusted. It was just lump crab meat on top. The salmon was very undercooked. I had to send it back because it was like sashimi. Hot pink and still super watery. When it came back, it was overcooked to the point of being dry and tough to chew. They did give us a dessert (which was delicious) as an apology. But I was unable to eat the salmon and still paid $35 for it. The atmosphere was fine. Parking is street or in a lot since it's downtown. I was expecting better given the prices.

Fine food with a bit of Cajun influence. The fried calamari was perfectly done which is not easy with baby calamari with tentacles. These were the best I have had since I lived in New Orleans. The New York Strip was excellent and perfect medium rare as requested. Service is top notch. Go to Omar's.

Food was awesome. Probably the best steak I had. We also had the bang bang shrimp appetizer, which was really good as well. I had a glass of Prosecco and we had a blue berry lemon drop (I believe) the drinks were also very good. The shrimp was very filling and owe both ended up taking food home from our main course. Our waiter was attentive and helpful. Overall a really good experience for a date night. I liked how it was lit for a night out. We could adjust the lighting on our table if we wanted to.

The atmosphere, service, and food were excellent quality. My only complaint is that for such an upscale place I expected the water to be filtered but it tasted like straight tap The bread tasted so fresh, the salmon was perfectly cooked and the balsamic glaze complimented perfectly. Not pictured was my husbands plate with a filet and scalloped potatoes which were delicious as well. The filet was slightly overcooked (we asked for medium rare). Highly recommend the cajun butter to go with the steak!

Went to Omar's I ordered the shrimp in brown butter Caesar, salad and the walleye. Elaine ordered the crab cakes and walleye. The food was amazing. We had to eat at the bar upstairs so reservations are recommended. It was a Monday night. Zac our server was excellent. The decor is upscale. Table cloths in the main dining room. Parking is close by.

Hotel fine dining went pretty well. I wasn't a fan of how thick the sauce on the shrimp was almost mayo based?? The steak and potato was AMAZING and made up for it even in takeout setting!!!

This a a pear and beet salad..

Great place. Food was great. Service was wonderful. Presentation was perfect. Comfy bar area and great selections. Best in Jonesboro for a more upscale experience.

went to Omar's after graduation. Had the best dinner, highly recommend. The staff was fun and engaging. The food was amazing.

The inside decor was very eclectic with art, paper stars hanging from the ceiling, and mix-matched furniture. It felt very fun. We chose to sit in a booth by the window around 1:00. There was only one other table of patrons when we arrived. It was very cold inside, but it looked clean. I ordered a ham sandwich with chips. My mom ordered a pick two with half BLT and a half cup of chicken and wild rice soup. The wait was slow for some cold sandwiches and premade soup. My sandwich was good but it just tasted like regular deli meat on white sandwich bread. The chips came from a basket with two different types of sun chips, which were not my favorite. My mom's soup did not have any chicken or meat in it, just the broth and lots of beans. It was also very spicy, which unfortunately didn't work with her dietary restriction. She wasn't able to eat much of it. We both got drinks, as well, but never refills. Our waitress didn't come back to check on us. Together the bill was in the mid $30s + tax and a tip. It just felt overpriced for mediocre food and service. Cute place, but I probably won't go back.

However, after years of hitting up WH all over the country, I had never had a terrible experience until I visited this location. We came in and were seated, 2 waitresses, one sitting down on her phone & the other holding up the counter and watching the cook do all the work. We sat there for a good 15-20 min before any of the staff even acknowledged we were there. We assumed it had been a rough evening, so we patiently waited. We finally got some coffee and some water and then placed our order. We sat there for the next 30 min as several customers got up and left unattended while the cook kept making online orders only. After about 15 orders were bagged and waiting on the counter folks started coming in to pick up the orders they had placed online. EVERY SINGLE ONE WAS WRONG! We kept waiting and finally we hear them giving our order to the cook and them throwing it onto the grill. All the while, we never had anyone come back by to give us a refill on either coffee or water. When our food arrived it was in to-go containers, which we didn't mind but thought kinda strange. We grabbed some utensils from over the counter ourselves and began to eat. That's when the manage came running over to tell us we had to go. After all that time of sitting in there, the only time they paid any attention to us was to tell us we had to get out. We hadn't said a word to anyone the whole time we were there. We had sat patiently never bugging the staff because they were all the way on the other side of the restaurant just chilling. We had done nothing to cause any issue at all w/anyone. But they threw us out anyway before we could even take a bite. So we bag it back up and head to the house never to return. The cherry on top was that when we got home we discovered that we didn't even get all of what we had paid for or even ordered. The part we did get was at least 50% wrong. I've always heard folks crack jokes about Waffle House and how nasty it is, but I've always and will continue to be a fan, just not of this location. I wouldn't tell anyone to not go to this location because I'm sure the staff there changes often, so you may have a completely different experience when you go here. However, we will stick to going to the one in Paragould where we always have top notch service and a full cup of coffee!
