We had a party of three come in after the rush. This is a hopping place for locals. We were traveling for a conference. We had been told good food and large portions. So, we tried it out. I got the shrimp basket. It was hot and fresh. The food had been cooked fresh. Our server was quick and always there to help. One of our party has a gluten allergy. This poses many problems. Come for the $8 martinis, stay for the food, and maybe never leave. This spot is the go-to for locals, and now (us tourists) know why. Admittedly, the Yelp reviews had us bracing for questionable service, but we totally lucked out. Our server Destiny was an absolute gem, friendly, fast, and kept those martinis flowing like it was her superpower. (Bless you, Destiny.) I've been numerous times since 2018, about every 8 months I will find myself there for another shot. Each time I just about seat myself, I use the entirety of my lunch hour just putting in my order and waiting on refills or my beer to come, that is if it ever does come. Even when the restaurant is nearly empty there is still zero sense of urgency, and even still the tables are sticky and dirty. There's more seating than there could ever be parking, albeit its great location. The ex employees brag how everyone there is drinking or "using" to stay afloat in that environment. Hands down one of the most overrated restaurants I've been to. The wait takes forever and a decade. I went once on a Sunday morning recently but the first time I went was around the time they first opened so it wasn't busy. Service was much better then but the nachos I tried were terrible, I had to eat off my dates plate instead. The wings are extremely small and I think it's a rip off. It also comes with no sides. Great place for beer and wings! Lively atmosphere from the college students and I hear they have live bands on the weekends. Staff was friendly and the music playing was spot on. The burgers were juicy and big in portions. The wings were savory and flavorful no matter which rub or sauce you order. I tried to eat healthy on this trip so I ordered the ahi tuna salad. This place has been here for a minute and I'd never tried it. Today, after church, the wife suggested we go somewhere for brunch and JTown's was the only brunch place I'd never tried. So we hit it up. The first thing I noticed when we arrived was the amazing smell. It smelled like bbq and burgers and deliciousness. It was busy but they got us seated fairly quick. The wife ordered the Mexican omelet, my son got the kids cheese burger (surprise), my daughter got the pancakes, and I got the Tijuana burrito. Let's start with the kiddos. Both of them voted their food the best ever. Simple enough. My son is a cheeseburger connoisseur. So it's saying a lot to hear him say "best burger ever." My daughter loved her pancakes that were loaded with chocolate chips and cake with a couple slabs of thick cut, peppery bacon. My wife's Mexican omelet was amazing. It was an egg white omelet with taco meat and guacamole topped with queso and jalapeño. I tried it. It was really fantastic. My burrito was an awesome combo of taco meat and chorizo. It also had guacamole, egg, and hash browns. This thing was freaking delicious. I don't think it's ordered that much because the waitress didn't even know what it was - I had to show her on the menu. Let me tell you, though. If you like chorizo you should try this thing. I love all Mexican - read my other reviews - and chorizo is one of my favorite things to eat. This place is fantastic. I don't want to overuse the word "fantastic" but that's the best way to describe it. If you love good food and the Red Wolves then you'll love JTown's Grill. I plan on visiting this place a lot more now that I've tried it out. You should, too! read more

If you like having a ton of food options on the menu you will love J town grill. On a nice day you can sit outside on either the side or front patios. I love the location as it is close to all of my friends so we are all able to commute there easily. The menu items have the most fun names such as "Gas Station Corn Nuggets" Today we came here for brunch which was exciting to find out they are amongst a few restaurants in Jonesboro that serves Brunch. Another exciting find was the 96 ounce Mamosa tower that you can order and split between the table. How fun!! We ordered the omelettes and one of my friends got the barbecue nachos. I was very impressed with the size of the omelettes neither one of us could finish the entire meal. You can choose add egg whites versus yellow egg for an additional $1.
