I've flown in and out of this airport dozens of times. It is small enough to typically be much faster than other airports! I've never had an issue getting to my flight on time giving about 1.5 hours total to get there--always getting my boarding pass ready prior to arrival. Good amount of food/drink spots and not too long of lines. Nice clean facility with plenty of space--much less crowded than other airports I've been in! read more

This is a small airport and most of the dining options are OUTSIDE of security, just FYI. However, this airport is super easy to get in and out of, which is my number one priority. The airport is small and fairly easy to navigate. The TSA process is a bit cumbersome compared to other airports. There were some rules that haven't been true at any other airport. My bag got flagged for me not taking out a straightener an my husband with his Nintendo switch. I would say about 50% of bags were flagged around us so we were not alone. It's not a big inconvenience because we had plenty of time but the lack of consistency was unexpected. We were grateful we had extra time to spare. read more

Lots of construction here which I don't knock them for I hope this airport is great one day. The TSA was quick and easy to get thru which is great.. I left on delta today Hary A3 and their concessions are limited the lady here was so incredibly rude and just said to the man in front of me If your in a hurry I don't care its not my problem. I had to laugh because he was incredibly patient as she was walking away from him several times and all he wanted was a water. I have flown out of here a lot of times and I have never had a problem. I dropped my grandmother off here the other day for her flight back home. She let me know she didn't have any issues to get back home. I think one of the most confusing things about this airport for me is the signs on where to go to drop people off/all the construction that is going on at the same time. I don't fly much anymore because my husband and I do van life, but every time I have dropped someone off here him or I always seems to take one wrong turn. This always seems to amaze me because we drop people off at the Orlando airport for flights frequently. read more

Pulled into parking @ 1:15, took shuttle to the terminal and checked in to Southwest @ 1:33....AMAZING! The parking and shuttle service at this airport is incredible, i travel a lot and I've never been to an airport that was as efficient as this one. Even with going through TSA pre-check, i went from parking to shuttle to terminal to TSA pre-check to my gate in under an hour. read more

All the workers here are nice and friendly. An airport you can get in and out of quickly! I had the black bean burrito and drink at Hugo's Tacos. Was really good burrito. I couldn't find them on Yelp so I reviewed here on the airport Yelp site. Very clean airport. Restrooms well kept! Good view of the planes incoming and outgoing at the food court!!! I came here on vacation. This airport is small but very efficient. Everything has signs and they have great direction here. As soon as you walk out there is the car rental department. From the time you get off plain to when you get a rental it was 20. When we returned the car went great. This airport is very efficient and we had a great experience here. read more

Small airport! Super quick to deboard and get to baggage claim. We waited no longer than 15 minutes to get our group's baggage. There is nothing fancy about the airport; however, it is clean and easy to navigate. A very midwest style airport in regards to size and decor. read more

This airport is pretty great -- it's small, efficient, and has some nice touches like mother rooms. I mean, come on. You only get stuff like that in the midwest! Overall because of its size, you don't have to be there nearly as early as you would for larger airports. An hour was plenty of time for me to get through security and get to my gate. The only weird interaction was with security. I was standing in line with a bunch of other folks, and some people came up behind us asking if they could go ahead of us because their plane was boarding. Having been in a situation before where I was running behind and was worried about making my flight, I said sure, as did everyone else in line with me (I mean, it's Nebraska after all - Nebraskans are midwest nice to the core). No one was upset about it EXCEPT the security screening guy. He basically yelled at the family of three saying, "You can't cut the line!" And the woman politely said that they'd asked everyone in line for permission and we'd all said it was okay. He still continued to berate her saying, "You should have been here earlier. Stay behind the line!" So instead of just rolling with it, this guy lets THE ENTIRE LINE stand there for at least 10 minutes, I guess to make some kind of point? Then he finally lets them come up. I don't know. Was he timing it just to make sure they didn't make their flight? It was SUPER weird and made everyone uncomfortable because we all were just trying to help out some folks that were clearly having a bad day. So that guy - the white guy with glasses and a god complex - could have done without him. Everything else about my trip through the airport was just fine. read more

Outdated terminal; gate area bathrooms are way too small for the number of passengers going through. It's a long walk to the rental car counters and garage. There is a grill called Kracky McGee's (should be called Crappy McGees) that charges an outrageous amount for the most basic items. Turkey and cheese sandwich on white bread (like you'd make at home) and a bottle of water - $15! Are you kidding me? The Airport Authority should be ashamed for allowing this kind of price gouging on the traveling public. I'd expect that in Chicago, LAX or JFK - but in Omaha? Thankful this was a one-time need to have to fly here. Never again. read more

Horrible. The worst experience we've ever had at an airport. It took an extremely long time to get through security with one singular person working at the front and then very slow rest of the staff, which caused us to just barely make our flight. No other employees came to assist even though everyone obviously could see how long people were being left waiting. Very disappointed. read more

TSA was efficient and courteous thos time and the security line for PRE CHECK was not crowded. The gates in Terminal 1were full and no rude or upset people travelling this morning. Super cute and small airport you're in and out. If you follow directions it's smooth sailing. It's has an aunt Annie's sooo yum I should give a 5 star just for that. Lol there's no tons of walking and I wish most airports were like this. I didn't enter any restroom but all the business were well kept, stocked and had great costumer service. read more

OMA, my favorite airport to fly in and out of. Such a fast process and the staff are always extremely welcoming and happy to assist with any questions. Landing in Omaha, I always know I will get my luggage in an appropriate amount of time. Flying out, I don't need to arrive 2-3 hours in advance. It's always a smooth process as it's always so quick to check my luggage and get through TSA. I still recommend giving yourself enough time just in case it's a busy day. The airport is following all Covid-19 guidelines so that too could affect the timing on any given day. read more

I flew in from LAX and this airport is much smaller. It is very clean, and seems to operate efficiently, thought arrived when they were closing up everything. When you get down to baggage claim, if you walk straight ahead you will find the rental car counters. Though you will have to make a U turn as the rental car pickup is behind the escalators that you just came down. When you walk to the curb, directly in front of you is the parking garage, which is massive! Well in comparison to the airport. They have an onsite police office, and I noticed a good amount of officers roaming. So overall, you gee safe here. The restrooms were very modern, and very clean. Initially the only issue that I had was that I had a moment of difficulty finding the rental car pickup, and looped he entire airport, which took about 5 min since it is small. read more

I've seen more competitor and hotel shuttles twice now while I'm still waiting for 1 north and south lot shuttle!!!!!

Another poor service experience with ABM Parking at the Omaha Airport South parking lot. This morning after I arrived a shuttle bus drove by me about 50 yards to pick up another customer. I started walking toward the bus and it drove off and left the lot to the terminal. A second shuttle drove down the next row, skipped the row I was in and drove up another row and left the lot towards the terminal when there were two of us waiting in the row. Neither of those shuttles could have been full. It was not that busy. At least when I called the office, the person that answered the phone was polite and customer service oriented! She asked for my information including my car make and color and where I was parked. She said she would send a bus to pick us up. I bus finally did pick us up; 5 customers by the time the bus came. We made it to the terminal safely. One more unsatisfactory experience with airport parking. Eventually I will learn and go to Budget parking next time. I wish there was a PreFlight Parking lot in Omaha! They provide the best parking services in Baltimore and Houston! read more
