I was here during the college World Series and a 13u and 11u baseball tournament in Omaha, so the airport was pretty packed and it was kind of hard to walk around terminal B. Not sure how busy they are when these events aren't going on. However, it was still pretty easy to find somewhere to sit. Still a lot of the airport is under construction, but signs are easy to read and it was a breeze to go from the car rental drop off to the terminal because the airport isn't that big. I have TSA pre check, so it took a few minutes to get through security. The other lines were actually moving pretty fast, too. Bathrooms were clean and there were several food options. All of the workers I dealt with were friendly and helpful. Cool little airport with some nice views of the airfield and surrounding countryside.

My favorite part of staying at this Hilton Garden Inn was that it was in walking distance to all the great businesses in the Old Market district. Sure, there's active construction and road closures all over the place, but being close to a great part of town counts for something. The hotel itself was fine. I wasn't able to access the WiFi on my phone, though I was able to on my laptop? Facilities are on the older side, needing some renovations, but at least the elevators worked. Rooms are spacious and the bed was comfortable. I really enjoyed the powerful shower, that gets an A+ from me. Pillows were various sizes and took a minute to find the right one. Least favorite part was the noise from my room. I had colleagues staying at different areas of the hotel and they luckily didn't experience what I did. My sleep was very minimal on this trip due to all the noise at night. Lobby is spacious. You can fill up your water bottle and snag complimentary coffee in the morning. The couches definitely need some work, as most of the backs are at a 90 degree angle. If you need an affordable room within budget, consider staying here. It's good for walking distance. We were here for a dinner party in one of their smaller meeting rooms. The buffet dinner consisted of lasagna, breadsticks, pesto chicken, side salads, and tiramisu dessert-that melted in your mouth! Everything was cooked perfectly with good flavor. There was a small cash bar that was able to accommodate our room of 75. Good choices of wine, beer and spirits. Everything went smoothly for our event. I thought they would squeeze us in when they could, but apparently they have a lot of flexibility. We arrived on time and our pilot was already out checking our plane. The building is clean, large and comfortable with a friendly team. The plane was SMALL! I was expecting small, but it's a tighter squeeze than a tiny car. 2 people sat in back, and I sat in front with the pilot. Our pilot even let me fly! We had an amazing time soaring over CB, and felt very comfortable. We experienced zero g's, and some fun dips and turns. This certainly did not help with my long standing desire to learn to fly! I'm really going to have to start a savings fund now!

The remote barely works and you have to get up and unplug the television in order to turn it off. Does this sound like a luxury suite to you. Don't bother trying to call the front desk from your room or from your cell. They didn't answer for me. Bugs in the bed? Found an unknown thing in the bed after first night of being itchy. I had little options and none made me feel like things would have been better to repack everything and move. Also, my job limited my ability to move hotels. Decided to sleep on the very springy sofa bed. Very unrestful stay. Then after a few days moved back to the bed but on top of the covers of course. Locked out of room for 45 minutes because deadbolt sensor didn't register as unlocked when I left the room for breakfast. I explained to management the door needed an override key. Maintenance attempted break-in tool. Competency level of management is poor. Management then remembered they had a key to over ride deadbolt system in back office. Wifi not working due to misspelling of last name. The hospitality of this hotel is minimum. Parking situation is a pain. Pay extra for valet and end up waiting for your car if multiple people need their cars at the same time. The parking garage is next block over. Only one parking space in front of the hotel for checking in, the other 10 spaces are for valet. Self-parking: They will provide you with an entry card for garage. Needed for driving entry. What they won't tell you is when you check out, you still need card to use elevators from ground floor. I had to push luggage to second level deck just to use elevator to get to fourth floor. Dirt in hallway was there for three days. The 6th floor hallway and elevators had an odor of urine. After all of this, They have the wrong home address on my final receipt and the stay never populated on the app.
