I was here during the college World Series and a 13u and 11u baseball tournament in Omaha, so the airport was pretty packed and it was kind of hard to walk around terminal B. Not sure how busy they are when these events aren't going on. However, it was still pretty easy to find somewhere to sit. Still a lot of the airport is under construction, but signs are easy to read and it was a breeze to go from the car rental drop off to the terminal because the airport isn't that big. I have TSA pre check, so it took a few minutes to get through security. The other lines were actually moving pretty fast, too. Bathrooms were clean and there were several food options. All of the workers I dealt with were friendly and helpful. Cool little airport with some nice views of the airfield and surrounding countryside.

I have flown many times, through many airports across the U.S. I will never be flying through here…read moreagain if I can help it. TSA is rude, and do not give instructions until the last minute, then yell at you for slowing the flow down. I've never had to take my hair styling tools out of bag, until I was flying out of Omaha. I wore glasses in my ID photo, and since I wasn't wearing them when I went through TSA, the agent ran my picture through the system THREE times. I look the exact same in the ID photo, just no glasses. Good job dude, really doing the lords work keeping shady people who wore contacts that day out of the airport. I remember hearing how frustrating it can feel when ill-functioning airports make the passengers feel criminalized, but hadn't experienced it until this airport. I've flown out of huge airports, such as Dallas, Houston, New Orleans, LAX, Orlando, huge chaotic cities. Omaha is not. And the airport is not large enough to be so dysfunctional. 1/5, would've been a zero if I could.

There's about 6 gates here. All serviced by United Airlines. Its a small, calm, and stressed free airport. Its been remodeled recently and so there's some updated amenities - each seat has outlets, they are more comfortable, and its much more sleek and modern. There's a low cost parking lot nearby. It's 12 dollars if you stay 24 hours under the covered parking lot. There's a north and south parking lot too that is open air and cost a bit less. You dont need to get here super early. Since it's typically local or regional flights and with so few gates and takeoff time is typically staggered, time to get in and out of TSA is about 15 minutes. There's a plane hanging from the ceiling when you enter which is a nice local nod to the area.

The building is clean, large and comfortable with a friendly team. The plane was SMALL! I was expecting small, but it's a tighter squeeze than a tiny car. 2 people sat in back, and I sat in front with the pilot. Our pilot even let me fly! We had an amazing time soaring over CB, and felt very comfortable. We experienced zero g's, and some fun dips and turns. This certainly did not help with my long standing desire to learn to fly! I'm really going to have to start a savings fund now!
