"Omaha entrepreneur Eric Burns plans to launch Nightlife Transit, a late-night bus that will run 9 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Friday and Saturday nights.
The route will visit Omaha's entertainment districts, including downtown, midtown, Dundee and Benson. Burns said official routes and stops have not been finalized yet.
Customers will be able to buy passes for one day at around $4 to $5. Monthly passes will be offered for $15 to $20.
Burns said Nightlife Transit will begin service on June 5. Brickway Brewery & Distillery, 1116 Jackson St., will host a kick-off party May 8.
Burns is part of Year of the Startup, a residency program for entrepreneurs.
