Omalnk airport shuttle is a wonderful service - - we have taken them between Lincoln, Nebraska and Omaha many times. They will pick you up at home and drop you at the airport or anywhere else you need to go. I have found them to be extremely punctual and helpful. The vans are clean and comfortable. You can arrange pick ups for one or two people or a group. They do other locations by advance arrangement. I recommend Omalink very highly. read more

OMALINK is a great service. My driver met me at the Omaha airport, waiting for me with a sign, even though my plane was a half hour early. My reurn flight was at 6AM, and the driver was right on time at 4AM to pick me up in Lincoln for the ride back to Omaha. Very reliable and very courteous drivers. Excellent service. read more

Friendly drivers, unreasonable management. I made arrangements to use Omalink between Omaha and Lincoln once a week for business meetings. I was quoted $35 round trip due to the repeat service as long as I reserved at least one month at a time. I used the service once at the $35 rate before committing to a month. The drivers were friendly and the service was relatively prompt (early in the morning, 15min late in the evening). I was very pleased and looking forward to using the service regularly. I scheduled rides for each Thursday in August with their friendly customer service agents. Then at noon on Wednesday, August 1 I received a call from their general manager informing me that the rate I was quoted was only for at least 3 round trips/week. I would either need to cancel or pay $79 (more than double the quoted rate) for all of the trips I had already scheduled, including the next day at 8am. If I were to have cancelled that soon they would have charged at $20 cancellation fee. When I pointed this out and asked that they honor our rate for at least the next day and then revisit the other appointments, he flat out refused, even claiming once that it was illegal for him to offer me any rate other than $79 if I traveled less than 3x/week. read more

Wasn't sure about this place--couldn't find a lot of reviews. I needed a ride to the Omaha airport (I live in Omaha) for the crack of dawn, so I didn't want to ask a friend. Anyway, I had a 630am domestic flight. I called the folks a few days before. And they took my reservations and said they'd call me the next day to tell me when the driver would pick me up. On the phone, they thought the driver would come at 330am? Really? Okay, fast forward to the next day--never got a call, got an email instead that put me at 430 am. Thankfully, I was checking my email. I get up at the crack o' dawn and wait for the guy. The driver was nice and chatty, but he was about seven or eight minutes late. He later explained (once the other party was out of the van) that he was slowed up by the other group. These shared ride situations can be unpredictable, I know, so I probably have more patience than others, so I didn't mind it. Not totally sure why I needed to get up so early for a domestic flight pickup during a holiday weekend, but it worked out. Van seemed clean and the temperature was good, considering how cold it was. I think it was probably a bit overpriced--seemed higher than what I've paid for a cab for the same distance, so I am not sure I'd pay for this again. read more

Why isn't there some other kind of transportation between Lincoln and the Omaha airport? It's unfortunate that there isn't enough demand to have a more affordable public transit option between a college town and the least expensive state airport. $120 seems expensive for an hour trip each way. Still, OMALiNK is a decent option if you have no other method for getting to Omaha. The drivers have been reliably on time (even early) in my experience, and they are polite. Office staff call to confirm before your ride so you remember the time of pickup. The vans aren't particularly nice but are average for a transport service. I have had no significant issues with this service besides discomfort when the van is crowded and slowness when there are lots of stops. read more

I had the pleasure of riding the shuttle M-F, twice a day for training from Omaha to Lincoln for about 6 weeks. Obviously, I spent quite a bit of time in the shuttle and got to know most of the drivers pretty well. They take their jobs very seriously and care about their customers genuinely. They want to do their best to limit wait times at airports and get people where they need to go, sometimes having to juggle around multiple schedules due to flight delays and last minute pick ups. (You do learn alot riding for 2 hours a day). Each and every driver (with the exception of one), was extremely friendly, prompt, and had safety as their number one priority. I was initially dreading having to be shuttled every day for so long. Now I can say that I am gonna miss my morning chats with Tom, and my afternoon rides with Jack and Al. Thanks for making my trips bearable and putting up with my chattiness! I will definitely be using you if I need a ride in the future. read more

These guys saved me a lot of time and money! I was stuck in Omaha yesterday when the rental company I reserved with wouldn't take a debit card. None of the rental companies at the airport would. I was supposed to get my son, his girlfriend, our dog, and our things from storage and get right on the road moving them to our new house in Houston, Texas. I called Omalink thinking if I made it to Lincoln I could figure it all out. On the way, I was calling places frantically trying to find a company that would rent me a truck to Texas and I wasn't having any luck. One of the owners, Cory, heard me and offered to help. They went above and beyond. They drove us where we needed to go, met us at the storage so we could empty it, and at 5am Chris picked us up from the hotel and drove us all the way to Houston!! They are amazing!! And I can't thank them enough. Call them. Use their services. Five hundred stars!!! read more

The driver was OK. I cannot understand why he insisted on taking surface streets the entire route. Increased our trip time easily by 20 minutes. Greg, the only one who unfortunately answers emails, severely needs customer service training. When I emailed to ask about changing our pick-up time due to the likely airport congestion (the day after the eclipse) his response was "I don't know what traffic you think there will be.... we will email you the day prior with a pick-up time." Wow. Needless to say, although this saved us about $140 over renting a car, I will undoubtedly be renting a car the next time we're in town to visit family. read more

On April 30, 2016, I waited for my contracted ride from Omalink in Lincoln, Ne at the South Hampton Inn. My ride was to take me to Omaha airport for my flight home to CA. No one came to get me. After phoning several times and getting recorded messages, i realized I was going to miss my connecting flights. I got myself to Lincoln Airport and booked a flight to San Jose via Chicago. It was a long frustrating day. I lost my American Air return ticket out of Omaha for all intents and had to purchase 2 new tickets to the tune of over $800 on United. Omalink is now part of Groome Transportation and the former owner, now manager Bill Schneider in Lincoln assured me he would send corporate in Richmond the information. I have never heard from anyone since. They did refund my ordered car trip charge. Omalink is no longer the reliable company it once was. read more

OMALiNK LEFT ME STRANDED - negative stars! My flight was late but, according to my reservation confirmation, passengers may have to wait for delayed planes. I was worried when no one showed up to our meeting place and then another passenger came, also looking for the driver. After listening to her phone messages, she discovered that our shuttle was cancelled. I did not receive such a call. In fact, I received a confirmation call. Apparently, the trip was cancelled due to the weather. However, my ride TO the airport was in weather much worse than the weather on this day. I'm grateful to have friends in Lincoln who are willing to come get me at 1:00AM. Otherwise, I don't know what I'd do. Use OMALiNK but do NOT depend on them! Only use them if you have a backup plan! He then left a message to tell me that he had to move it up to 4:00 because the driver had to pick up someone else along the way. I woke up an hour early just to make sure I wouldn't be late and got down to the lobby around 3:45. By 4:15 no one had called me so I was getting a little concerned. I believe it was around this time that I called your main office, which didn't help as your company doesn't open until 11am. I thought that maybe Eric and the driver were not on the same page and maybe the driver was going to come by around the original time of 4:30. When 4:45 came around I pretty much have given up. There was no sign of the driver and no communication given to me. I find it highly unprofessional that a company as well known as yours would not even try to contact if you were running late, or in this case, not show up at all. I had to change my flight to something later in the day so I wouldn't be stuck here for an additional day. I know it doesn't mean anything to you as it doesn't affect your bottom line but for the average person like myself that means a flight change fee of $75 and I don't even know how much the difference in the airfare is (last I checked it was a difference of $120 from my 8:40am flight to my current flight at 6:10). I also lost a few hours of sleep trying to figure everything out. I would hope to think I'm an isolated incident, but the host in the lobby had told me this has happened 3 other times to people in similar situations JUST THIS WEEK. Needless to say I'm not happy and I will not be recommending your services to anyone I know. I hope you correct this problem so that no one had to go through what I did earlier this morning. You may think you're getting an affordable, convenient ride to the airport. Sorry. Don't count on it. This company doesn't care about you, your schedule, or your needs. They care about your money, but that's about it. I booked them for a one-way shuttle to the Omaha airport because my travel plans allow me to drive back to Lincoln after the last leg of the trip, rather than flying back into Omaha. I thought the shuttle would save me on parking fees and the inconvenience of having to swing through Omaha to pick up my car. I couldn't have been more wrong. I placed my reservation and expected that they would get back to me pretty quickly with the scheduled pick up time. I finally got my pickup time emailed to me less than 24 hours before the scheduled pick up time, which was MORE THAN FOUR HOURS BEFORE MY FLIGHT TIME! I emailed them back and said that wouldn't work for me. I'm not about to get up before 3:00 in the morning on the front end of a long business trip. There's nothing quite like going into a sales meeting feeling like a sleep deprived zombie! They emailed back a couple hours later saying they could pick me up at 4:00 instead of 3:30, but that was it. I talked it over with my wife and decided that it just didn't make sense to leave that early, no matter how cheap the rate was ($50). I immediately called OMALiNK with my cancellation and asked for my refund. They said they would be happy to cancel the reservation, but they couldn't refund my money because it was within their 24 hour minimum for cancellation. I told them I thought this was odd, since they weren't able to get me a pick up time 24 hours in advance. They gave me a sort-of apology ("I'm sorry you feel that way...") and still refused to refund my money. I told them to cancel it anyway, that I wasn't interested in dealing with a company that doesn't care about its customers or their needs. The lady on the phone (Cassidy) said that she would forward my information on to the next manager up the chain, but that she couldn't guarantee that he would be calling me back. I understand that a shared shuttle service requires some flexibility from its passengers. It's just too bad that OMALiNK can't also be flexible with its customers, making their needs a priority. read more

I booked Omalink for my daughter who goes to school in Lincoln and flew out from Omaha. I was concerned about the reviews and problems people had using this service. I must say that the lady that I made the reservations with was very helpful and polite. I explained my concerns and even discussed the negative reviews on yelp. I must say that we had a really positive experience with them. They called both my daughter and I the day before the pickup to update us on the pickup time and drop off location. They covered all the forms of communication I asked for - emails for both of us, phone calls for both of us. I was really pleased to now have an option for getting my daughter home without paying double the airfare from Lincoln vs. Omaha. read more

Arrived in Omaha airport. No driver to guide us to the bus. No bus labeled Omalink. I walked up to random bus and asked questions found out it was our bus. We load up and then sit for 1.5 hours while they bring a smaller bus because they need ours for a bigger group. Replacement bus stinks of urine. Guy with stinky bus is unapologetic and down right rude. Wow! $500.00 to be treated like crap and have to smell pee for over an hour. If this is Oma-Link's idea of customer service, then pissy is the right smell for all their buses and shuttles. read more

The least reliable, most unresponsive, poorly run transportation company I've ever seen! They do not pick up the phone (try it!). They do not return phone calls. When I finally got a person, they gladly took my money - but scheduled the wrong pick up by 12 hours - and then never showed at the time I'd scheduled. And could not be reached. And cannot be reached now. They may have had a decent reputation once, but no more! I was trying to get my son home this Christmas and I needed him to get a ride from unl to Omaha airport just one way was $50 we agreed for him to be picked up on a Friday and I paid. Friday came in there was a snowstorm in Lincoln and Omaha so he could not get a ride from Oma link. We were told by Oma link about 2 to 3 hours before his flight that they could not take him to the airport so we panicked and luckily he got a ride from his girlfriend to the airport the next day. Omalink said they would refund me the money and here it is January 10 with still no refund. So I would like to say I like the service but I haven't had a chance to try it out . but they have some issues in the customer service department. read more

As with any shared shuttle service, you have to be flexible with your travel time and willing to get picked up VERY early for your flight. That's just how it is. I needed a ride from Lincoln to Omaha the day before I had a very early morning flight out of OMA. Omalink was only $45 with a pick up at my hotel instead of a shuttle stop as opposed to nearly $170 for a private car. I opted for the Omalink ride and am very happy I did. I would have liked to identify my pick up time but it was less than a third of the cost of a car! My driver was on time, pleasant and a really good driver. I arrived at OMA safely, took a cheap cab to my hotel for the night and most importantly was able to wake up at 4am instead of 3am to get to the airport for my 6am flight. I highly recommend Omalink if you are flexible or don't feel like shelling out big bucks for a ride. read more

I regularly fly into Omaha, rent a car, and drive to Lincoln. Rental cars are usually affordable and this is the way to go. I do NOT recommend Omalink. This is a shared ride with drop offs all over town. The customer service and communication is bad. In my case I arrived in Lincoln 3.5 hours after I landed in Omaha. And it cost me $70. I scheduled a ride on Omalink on Christmas Day because it was snowing. They had a shuttle running, that was the only good thing about it. My van arrived approx 20 minutes late, without warning or notice. After waiting for another passenger's plane to arrive we departed Omaha about an hour late only to drive across town to pick up another passenger. Each of the four passengers were dropped at various locations throughout Lincoln. I assumed this was an airport to airport shuttle, it is not! This is a necessary service for the area, but they need to step up their customer service and communicate with customers! read more

I don't generally write reviews, but this was an exceptionally bad experience. I reserved a spot on the shuttle and was told that there would be a shuttle available for me, naturally I expected there to be a shuttle at least present when I arrived. My flight landed at 5 PM, but while I was in the air, their driver left a message on my phone at around 4 PM saying he wasn't going to even be at the airport until after 5:30 and that I should wait in a designated zone. Once I got there, I tried to call the main number to see what was going on but was put on hold and I wasn't able to get a hold of anyone. I went to the waiting area and learned from other passengers that they had already been waiting for nearly an hour and had been informed the shuttle wasn't going to leave until after 6 PM. I had been traveling for the better part of 24 hours and wasn't going to wait in limbo for another hour or potentially more, so I ordered a cab from a ride sharing app and left. Of note, the cost of the cab was barely more expensive than the shuttle even with the tip and the cab arrived within 5 minutes. The company called me the next day finally to get my "side of the story." I told them and they yelled at me, saying that I wasn't their only customer and that I should have expected to wait for that long or more. I tried to explain that the problem was that I was told there would be a shuttle available when I landed and at no point was I told that the wait time was an hour or more. Because I could not get a hold of anyone on the day of the incident, the wait time could have easily been longer for all I knew. They were extremely rude to me and because they already had my credit card information from my reservation, they still charged me for a trip I did not take (about $80). They did not offer to mediate, refund, or help in any way and instead they elected to attempt to resolve the situation by yelling at me on the phone. The person who yelled at me was named "Greg." I will never use this service again and would recommend others not to as well -- I learned while waiting at the airport that there are actually other companies in Lincoln and Omaha now that offer this service and that Omalink is no longer the only option. read more

Do not use this company! They are good about taking reservations but don't deliver the service. Myself and a friend had a reservation for a pickup at 11:30pm to take us to our hotel. When confirming the reservation they left a very unprofessional voicemail in which they were more than a bit rude. That could have been forgiven but despite confirming the reservation a few hours prior their driver actually showed up 1/2 hour early, waited for 10 minutes and then left. So by the time we arrived for the pickup the driver was completely gone. As this was a late night pick-up nobody answered at any of the phone numbers provided. My friend and I had to take a dangerous 4.5 MILE walk in the middle of the night to get back to our hotel as no taxis were available (the whole reason for reserving a shuttle). I never received a call back the next day apologizing for their complete lack of delivering the service I reserved. Even after emailing them they completely ignored the fact that they failed to deliver the agreed upon service. This is a completely unprofessional organization and I couldn't be stronger in my recommendation against using them. read more

It is terrible. My flight landed at 4:20pm and i booked omalink for 5pm. The shuttle didn't come until 5:30pm. And the driver did not leave the airport until 6:20pm. And i arrived at home at 8pm!!!!! I will never use omalink ever. I will take uber. Fast and not expensive. read more

I was very disappointed in their service. I used the online booking and had selected a specific time for my friends to get picked up, but luckily they were in the vicinity for the earlier shuttle because they got called and we're told they had to take that earlier shuttle (not the time I had booked). Because of this, their arrival was not a surprise as planned and I had to cancel all of my other plans and get out of work early to deal with OmaLinks screw up and lack of commitment to the services I ordered. I will never use them again and would advise you to save your money, they are truly a rip off. We had a terrible experience with this service. As a large group, we needed to be at our destination on time and were assured the driver would wait for us. We were within 5 minutes of our reservation time and then ended up waiting over an hour to be taken to our destination and proceeded to miss a large evening portion of our conference. For the return trip, we called repeatedly to confirm with a reservation number and were never give one. But we were told we'd be picked up on time. The shuttle came, but only had room for one and we were a large group. When we complained loudly, they sent another shuttle, only to again, not have enough room for our group. Luckily for us, one of our group members had a car or several of us would have missed our flight. We barely made our flight as it was. Repeated calls to the manager were never returned. Apparently they have a new reservation system. You would think you would receive extra customer care during a transition such as this, but none was received. We will never use Omalink again. read more

I moved to Lincoln last year and used this service several times during the last year because where I work recommended it. However, they have a history of not listening. 1. The drivers have not listened to directions almost every time. As I am new here I limited knowledge of road. The driver would ask directions and I give directions on the main roads that I know. After going off on a different road, the drivers asks for more directions. If he unwilling or unable to follow the directions I know and give him, he should get me to my place without further direction from me. But no, the driver would go off on a road that I do not know and then ask for further directions. Fortunately, I have a good sense of direction and told the driver the general direction which got us to a road that I know. 2. The last trip was for a personal trip. This time the office personnel were unwilling or unable to listen. I very clearly told the reservation person that this trip was for a personal trip, gave him my personal information and specifically told him not to use the business information that they had on record. They used my business credit card and email for the transactions. After I saw the charges on my business credit card (fortunately before management saw it) I called and asked that the charge be made correctly to my personal card and reverse the business credit card. They got half way there, charged my personal card and have now two months later have not reversed the charge to the business credit card. When contacted today, the accounts person stated that they can not reverse the charge and have offered to send me a check. I will wait to see if they actually send a check. AT THIS POINT, IF THERE WERE ANOTHER OPTION, I WOULD TAKE IT. read more

Absolute horrible customer service. I have yet to have a positive experience with Omalink, and it's not for lack of trying them repeatedly over the last 2 years. Every time we call they "are short on drivers" or in some way are unable to accommodate us. Most recently we needed a ride for my sister from the Omaha airport at 11:30pm and their offer was to pick her up at 4:30am. Right... Because someone would actually make their family member sit in the airport for 5 hours in the middle of the night. This company is a joke. Someone forgot to tell them that transportation services that keep banking hours are worthless. I won't be bothering to try them again. read more

Super pissed at Omalink. The Driver shows up 35 minutes late only after I called dispatch. He then proceeds to back up into a tree. My small group was going from Omaha to Lincoln and he proceeds to get out of the car and "take a walk" his foot was in a cast and he said he was in pain and said fuck a lot. After finally getting back in the van we go less than two blocks and says he has to get something to drink or he will die and drives through mcDonalds. We were all upset that he was driving through McDonald's when he was already so late. Needless to say my entire group was late to the event in Lincoln, none of us will ever use Omalink again and the dispatch lady was rude because I called her twice, even though if I hadn't we never would have gotten the wobbly wavering ride. I wish I could use something lower than one star, but I'll just warn you that this was a real experience and I hope you don't try them for yourself. read more
