My first impression was how cute to put a snowman face on the garage door, but then I stepped inside. It was like walking into a Hallmark movie! Exquisitely decorated. Warmly welcomed. The menu was even altered for my major food allergies. A great explanation of nearby restaurants and sites, with a paper map even included! I could have had just the salad bar with it's spinach and raspberries, cheeses and veggies, but I didn't want to miss out on the prepared to order fine dining. The Inn is a very quick and easy 8 or 9 minute ride to downtown Omaha, including the Quest Center. On its' own, the Wickham is a lovely, comfortable 1888 home filled with antiques, well decorated and detailed. Jamie, the innkeeper, is very accommodative and pleasant and prepares a delicious breakfast. He went quite out of his way for us when we needed breakfast early one morning. We're looking forward to our next stay there.

She was so welcoming and helpful and gave me a wonderful room at a special rate. I was pretty tired when I arrived, and Jonathan greeted me with friendliness and a nice smile! I stayed in the Garrett Suite, which is a whole floor w/a canopy bed and jacuzzi. It gave me the privacy and rest that I needed. I also checked out the room that used to be the West Ballroom, and it is completely adorable as well. (Note: the bed in the Garrett suite is very firm so just make sure you're good with that) The breakfasts were also wonderful --- the homemade muffins and whole grain pancakes were special highlights. Nora served me each morning, and she made some extra touches like having extra green tea ready for me and serving me water right away on the second day after I'd asked for it the day before. What a nurturing, kind touch. I would highly recommend this B&B over a traditional hotel if you are planning to stay in Lincoln. Thank you Nora and staff for making my stay so comfortable and blessed.
