I've stayed at other hotels in the area, that I found to be more noteworthy but this hotel does the job when it comes to clean rooms, updated investiture, nice enough staff, etc. location is right in the heart of downtown and when the weather permits, you have many options for things to do and places to eat. read more

We booked a room here because of their location across from the Chi Health Center, which was the location for a graduation we were attending. There was also complimentary airport shuttle, an added plus. We requested a king room on an upper floor. We had a nice view of the stadium on the 5th floor. Bed was very comfortable. There was a small refrigerator and we were provided 2 bottles of water on the first day. The front desk provided more water upon request. Housekeeping was an issue during our stay, however. We made 4 attempts to have our room serviced during our first full day and they finally came after 4 pm after speaking to a manager downstairs. The second full day we had to make more attempts for housekeeping. They did the bare minimum, just changing towels and fixing the bed. They never changed bedding during a 3-night stay, even though we saw new sheets on their carts. They never vacuumed and I had to track someone down for a roll of toilet tissue. One trash can was not emptied. We're pretty neat and don't leave a mess for them to clean up after us, so it was quite disappointing and a waste of our vacation time. The best I can say about this hotel is their location. It's not an inexpensive hotel and I have mixed feelings about it. read more

Overall a satisfactory stay while here on a work trip. This Hilton is in a convenient location for the airport and downtown Omaha- walkable to many restaurants. It is a huge hotel by Omaha's standards and generally well kept. Would stay here again if affordable rate. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I'm always a bit disappointed with any extra value/appreciation for my loyalty. For this stay, I did receive a complimentary room upgrade. I'm note sure what the upgrade room entailed besides being on the top, 8th floor, but appreciate the gesture. I also received the standard food and beverage daily credit of $15 and complimentary bottled water received by gold and diamond members. My room was a double queen room facing the large arena across the street. Room was generally spacious, adequately lit, updated including a super large tv, quiet (except minimal hallway noise like doors closing and passersby), and generally clean. For cleanliness, the chair in the room had some questionable spots/stains. I received daily refresh/cleaning service except one day. Unsure why I didn't get service that day as the DND sign was not posted but not a big deal. Bed was comfortable and everything in the room worked. I used the mobile check in and check out feature on the Hilton app. This worked relatively well except sometimes the elevator wouldn't register the virtual key card to use the elevator. read more

What a nice hotel, with lovely accommodations. They have a gym and my friend enjoyed the sauna and steam room. The service of the staff was awesome and friendly. The rooms were clean with white linen. There's a restaurant onsite and they serve Starbucks coffee. It within walking distance of Iowa and the convention center. It's a nice location in Omaha. There are plenty of elevators to accommodate a sold out situation. I would recommend this hotel. read more

We only stayed one night, but it was nice. The checkin process was smooth and our room was clean. Late in the evening we did have drinks and snacks at the lobby bar which were good. The only complaint is the parking. $30 for self parking and only about have the spots are covered with a roof. We had snow and sub zero temps so my car was not happy. read more

The Hilton in Omaha is a nice hotel right across the street from the convention center so it makes it incredibly convenient to attend a convention which is exactly what I was doing here this week. Omaha is an impressive city of about 800,000 people, super clean, and I mean impressively clean. The bar in the center of the Lobby is called Bar Room + Kitchen, a welcoming place with a great selection of bourbons and a fairly good food menu. Today I tried the corn chowder (chowdah) and a BLT with fries. Being from New England, where corn chowder is a staple of our regional diet, I highly recommend this corn chowder as some of the best I've ever had. The BLT was equally good with fries on the side. It was pleasure a spending two nights recently at the Hilton Omaha for my daughter's wedding. The Vinton suite was beautiful, modern and very spacious! It worked perfectly for getting ready morning of the wedding! My room with a king size bed was also very comfortable, clean and larger than average. The staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful, and the valet allowed us to park in front while we loaded two carts full of stuff for the wedding. We enjoyed the bar for a couple hours following the reception and it was nice to have Starbucks coffee in the lobby. Also heard breakfast in the restaurant was delicious Paying for parking was a little confusing. but it was great to have a covered attached garage. The hotel was really great. But what made it awesome were the people. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The people that really stood out were the bar tenders Aaron, Terry and Nate. These guys really excelled at customer service and knowledge of the area. No only did they mix amazing drinks, but they helped us get where we needed to go and warned us about places that might not be such a good place to go at night. Nick's Quadrum restaurant is very classy and almost like a speakeasy for restaurants. It is hidden across from the bar with great service. Smaller menu with à la cart. The prime rib is outstanding as they cut it right in front of you. Great place for a special occasion. You can park in the garage and they will validate your parking as well. read more

I would not stay here again. Rooms/lobby look nice on the surface....however, for the price I would expect more. My coworker found a bedbug in her room. My room was visibly dirty, had no microwave, and was very sparsely decorated. There was a communal microwave, ice, and a drink vending machine on my floor. Plastic water bottles are $2. They do not offer breakfast. Location is this hotel's biggest draw, but there are several competitors very close by that would give a similar experience for a lower cost. I would recommend the Marriot instead. This hotel is not a good value and I would not have stayed here if it was on my dollar (my room was paid for as it was a business trip). Hilton Omaha is our pit stop when we're heading back from the west. It's a one night thing, so we're not looking for anything special. The rooms are comfortable and acceptable. I find it strange that we have to pay for parking - it's not like Omaha is this huge town or anything. Chicago, NYC, Miami - I'll accept... but it should just be included for guests in Omaha. We noticed during this last round, however, that the rooms were looking a little bit tired. They don't need a complete refresh but they do need a little bit of sprucing... paint, replace some bathroom tiles, etc. read more

Make sure you bring a gallon of water, or at least an empty gallon, because they refuse to provide any water other than tap water (with no cups/glasses in the rooms...) for drinking water. Terrible customer service, the front desk staff seems to resent you for being there. I will never stay here again, there is a lovely Marriott a block or two away. Beyond the lack of water, there were stains all over our hotel room, pubic hairs on the bathroom floor, shattered lights and wallpaper peeling off of the walls. I had a good experience at the hotel. I was here for a conference and the bed is comfortable as well as the pillows. Their gym is way better than most places and they have a sauna, which not too many places have that. The rooms were nice and clean, you can definitely feel some unevenness on the floor and that was weird. The people were very friendly and I had a good experience over all. read more

This was such a comfortable hotel I was very impressed!! There was a wedding going on while I was staying there so it's nice to know that it can accommodate large groups and events. But for a one night stay it was just as cozy and had everything I needed. It's in a great location, walking distance to many shops, parks, and restaurants. But the hotel restaurant also had many good options on their menu if you wanted to have a quiet night in like I did. I ordered the cheese curds and I was VERY pleased. Aside from them being maybe a bit on the pricey side (hotel food- what can ya do?) they tasted fantastic. As for my room- the bed was big and comfortable with fluffy pillows. I initially had a very good first impression of this hotel when I arrived but the longer I stayed the more my experience declined. The pros of this hotel are that they have an airport shuttle and that it is conveniently located and within walking distance of downtown and other attractions. The main con was the food. There is no continental breakfast or coffee in the mornings, as you'd imagine a Hilton would have. I ordered breakfast my first morning there and decided on the French toast sticks. In all honestly, they tasted like the microwaveable frozen ones I ate growing up, so not very good. The bacon wasn't any better, it had a bad stench like someone had touched it with the same hands they touched dirty garbage with. I was not impressed and for the food alone I'd give this place a one star. The room I stayed in was nice and the bed was very comfortable but the hallway of my floor was humid and stuffy. All in all, my experience here was not in line with what I expected from a Hilton. It felt more to me like a three star hotel instead of a four star hotel as it says online. read more

Way above and beyond what you'd expect The coffee and snack shop is also fantastic. . They serve Starbucks coffee and prepared food, pastries and snacks with enough options for everyone. You will not go hungry. The hotel is also in walking distance to any restaurant you might need...although you could stay for days and never need to leave Lastly it has a terrific fitness center - one of the best I've experienced at a hotel. read more

Convenient to be close to CHI if you are staying for an event, but the rooms are outdated and in serious need of maintenance. I entered my room and immediately heard the toilet running. It was just continually filling. It wouldn't flush. I had to remove the top of the toilet tank, stick my hand in, and fix the plumbing. It was an easy fix, but still, I have NEVER had to reach into a toilet tank at any other hotel I've stayed in. The face plate wasn't even on the bath tub... maintenance needed, seriously! If I would have had a screwdriver with me I would have just fixed it myself! Send a plumber to this room ASAP! The lobby looked nice and conference rooms were nice, but I wouldn't stay again unless there were updates. read more

Do not stay here unless your travel is secured in BLOOD! I travel for business, & usually have a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, this experience has been my worst in my sales career. I have always had a good experience with Hilton until today. I am attending a conference in another state, and my future client meeting was canceled today. I was to check in tomorrow and requested to cancel my hotel reservation ( more than 24 hour notice). My request was denied due to a 48 hour policy notice required. I explained multiple Hilton locations have supported this request in the past, and I would appreciate the support. The manager flatly denied my request and said I would be charged. I further commented my coworkers cancelled no problem. The manager placed me on hold and came back several minutes later. She harshly stated - I do not have Platinum Diamond Status, and they do. She stated there is nothing she could do for me due to my status level, and abruptly hung up. Policies are policies, but am still a customer. Unless you have platinum status- watch out when booking at this location. I had no issues canceling my airfare and car rental for this trip. And Hilton- I just booked my parents travel at another Hilton property. I wish I didn't need to rethink an alternate property due to my experience today. Travelers beware. read more

My return visit was low key and uneventful, two things that make a hotel stay fantastic in my eyes. I made reservations through the Hilton website using their Hilton Club option. Not only was it super easy, but the site features a little area where they ask you if you have any special needs. I assume this is for things such as wake up calls, allergies, medical issues, early / late check out, etc... however me being the ingenious person that I think I am, I wrote that all I wanted was a smile and a high five. Now, I'm probably not the first smart guy to leave a snarky note however I can definitely confirm that the hotel does read them because the woman working the front desk read my note, laughed a little bit and then smiled at me like she was up to no good and gave me a hearty high five. Well done. Anyway, this is a newer feature that the hotel offers and if you've made it this far down the paragraph and travel a decent amount then I recommend you try it. As for the hotel, it's still a solid hotel. It's current, trendy, semi posh and offers up clean and comfortable rooms. It's also smack dab next to the local arena and downtown baseball stadium if you're visiting for any of those events. If not, it's a very inexpensive taxi / Uber ride downtown to the Old Market, NoDo and even to the up and coming Blackstone District. A couple of quick notes... the bar seems to have more craft (and local) beers on tap and they're still sold at hotel prices (a dollar or two more than restaurant prices.) The hotel does offer a shuttle to take you to areas within a certain radius however it's a bit unpredictable and one of our party actually got in an argument with the concierge so I'd say use at your own risk. Parking is also still $14, which to me is a bit of a racket, but at the same time you have to pay off the structure some how. read more

Okay flight was delayed getting in, went to check in late my Hilton digital key was not letting me check in like usual, came Into a beautiful lobby and not a soul to be found, I didn't know if I should start to make up a bed in the lobby when finally someone came to the desk. I said "hi I am checking in" and the man was full of middle America enthusiasm and said "everyone is already checked in for the night" so I stood there with egg on my face and was like clearly not because I am standing here" he took my last name and told me I was checked in...........well clearly not because my digital check in and key wasn't working and I am standing here with my bags so I need two keys! I may be "checked in" but I have yet to see a room which I am certain that is what a hotel is known for. Finally when it was over I went to my room and looked low and behold my keys weren't working...it's happened before but now I'm really annoyed. Back again Got to the top floor concierge wing where the room was very nice, bedroom, living room, dining room and two full baths. The bathrooms were standard and I walked into a black hair on the floor and a unopened bag of goldfish crackers in the dresser. If I wanted a free snack the front desk should have seen my reservation and noticed I am a Hilton diamond member (from work trips) I saw them behind the counter with a snack and bottled water in the bags but I just wanted a room at that point where they claimed I was already in one. We hated our experience. We will NEVER come back. -Parking was a horrible experience. You have to pay $10/day to stay in the garage, and then have your parking validated EVERY time you come in and out - super annoying. The lobby is on the second floor, but paying guests have to go up several levels to "3B" to park. Then, from the parking garage, you have to walk outside to get back into the hotel. -The front desk attendant wasn't very helpful, and complained about having to wear a COVID-19 mask. Often on the phone and distracted. Not very warm. -The room size was fine... BUT their idea of "CityView" from the 4th floor was looking at a roof, the pool, and the side of some random building. Not as described. -Everything was very dated. Bleh. -There was a hole in the ceiling where the sprinkler system was set up. -There was a near-constant "clicking" noise that always made us feel as if someone was coming into the room. -THERE ARE NO MOVIE OPTIONS --- just basic cable. No streaming, No DVD player, there aren't even inputs to put your own tech in. It was like living in the 90s. -The bathroom tub/shower combo was clogged, bathroom very tight quarters, and the provided hair dryer was disgusting and sticky. DoubleTree = Double Trouble.
