We booked a room here because of their location across from the Chi Health Center, which was the location for a graduation we were attending. There was also complimentary airport shuttle, an added plus. We requested a king room on an upper floor. We had a nice view of the stadium on the 5th floor. Bed was very comfortable. There was a small refrigerator and we were provided 2 bottles of water on the first day. The front desk provided more water upon request. Housekeeping was an issue during our stay, however. We made 4 attempts to have our room serviced during our first full day and they finally came after 4 pm after speaking to a manager downstairs. The second full day we had to make more attempts for housekeeping. They did the bare minimum, just changing towels and fixing the bed. They never changed bedding during a 3-night stay, even though we saw new sheets on their carts. They never vacuumed and I had to track someone down for a roll of toilet tissue. One trash can was not emptied. We're pretty neat and don't leave a mess for them to clean up after us, so it was quite disappointing and a waste of our vacation time. The best I can say about this hotel is their location. It's not an inexpensive hotel and I have mixed feelings about it.

Overall a satisfactory stay while here on a work trip. This Hilton is in a convenient location for the airport and downtown Omaha- walkable to many restaurants. It is a huge hotel by Omaha's standards and generally well kept. Would stay here again if affordable rate. As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I'm always a bit disappointed with any extra value/appreciation for my loyalty. For this stay, I did receive a complimentary room upgrade. I'm note sure what the upgrade room entailed besides being on the top, 8th floor, but appreciate the gesture. I also received the standard food and beverage daily credit of $15 and complimentary bottled water received by gold and diamond members. My room was a double queen room facing the large arena across the street. Room was generally spacious, adequately lit, updated including a super large tv, quiet (except minimal hallway noise like doors closing and passersby), and generally clean. For cleanliness, the chair in the room had some questionable spots/stains. I received daily refresh/cleaning service except one day. Unsure why I didn't get service that day as the DND sign was not posted but not a big deal. Bed was comfortable and everything in the room worked. I used the mobile check in and check out feature on the Hilton app. This worked relatively well except sometimes the elevator wouldn't register the virtual key card to use the elevator.

What a nice hotel, with lovely accommodations. They have a gym and my friend enjoyed the sauna and steam room. The service of the staff was awesome and friendly. The rooms were clean with white linen. There's a restaurant onsite and they serve Starbucks coffee. It within walking distance of Iowa and the convention center. It's a nice location in Omaha. There are plenty of elevators to accommodate a sold out situation. I would recommend this hotel.

    BLT and fries!!

The Hilton in Omaha is a nice hotel right across the street from the convention center so it makes it incredibly convenient to attend a convention which is exactly what I was doing here this week. Omaha is an impressive city of about 800,000 people, super clean, and I mean impressively clean. The bar in the center of the Lobby is called Bar Room + Kitchen, a welcoming place with a great selection of bourbons and a fairly good food menu. Today I tried the corn chowder (chowdah) and a BLT with fries. Being from New England, where corn chowder is a staple of our regional diet, I highly recommend this corn chowder as some of the best I've ever had. The BLT was equally good with fries on the side. The Hilton Omaha on 1001 Cass St is a solid choice for accommodations and while there visit Bar Room + Kitchen

This place was booked solid my entire stay. CWS, LIzzo concert and a huge conference in the convention center. With all of this the cleaning lacked. I was there for 5 days and requested service or just towels numerous times and kept getting a response text that they would deliver but didn't. Someone else's hair was all over the bed sheets & pillows. It was strange how not kept the room was for the Hilton brand Room service is $10 but grub hub is $1

While downtown a few of the rooms radiates a view of the ball stadium which is stupendous. The rooms, although older, are clean with delicately worn furnishings. As hotels age, this one seems to have weathered the time with grace in terms of service, maintenance and outside aesthetics.

They shipped everything back to us right away. Over the years I've lost plenty of things at other hotels--and even when I call, I'm usually told they can't find them. So I was genuinely grateful and happy that this hotel reached out so quickly and made sure our belongings got back to us. Exceptional service!

I just had one of the most disappointing customer service experiences with Tru Hotel by Hilton…read more I originally booked a reservation at the Tru Hotel in Omaha but later realized I actually needed the Tru Hotel in North Platte. I called to ask if they could simply switch my reservation to the correct Tru location. The representative said no--that the only option was to cancel my Omaha booking, charge me a one-night cancellation fee, and then rebook me at the North Platte property. I asked to speak with a manager, and was connected with Daniel, the Front Desk Manager. Daniel repeated the same thing: Hilton's policy required me to pay a $150 cancellation fee, even though I was still planning to stay with Tru at a different location. Here's the part that makes no sense: If they had waived the fee and transferred my reservation, they would've kept my business. I would've rebooked at Tru in North Platte, paying around $460 in total. Instead, they chose to enforce the cancellation policy, charge me $150, and lose a loyal customer. They essentially lost out on about $300 and future loyalty over a rigid policy. As soon as I hung up, I booked with another hotel--Avid Hotel in North Platte--which was newer, less expensive, and happy to have my business. To Daniel: following policy at the expense of common sense and customer loyalty is a short-sighted move. You didn't just lose a 3-night stay---you lost a customer. Lesson learned: Hilton may be about policy; I'll stick with hotels that value people.

They acknowledged loyalty status & provided a snacks inside of a seasonal goodie bag. The effort definitely showed. On existing the elevator, the scent changed drastically. Stale cigarettes from decades ago would be my guess. If they don't have smoking rooms, they need a major overhaul to get that stench out. If they do have smoking rooms, they need better separation for the non-smoking rooms. The room was cleaned well & the odor was less noticeable inside, while still faintly lingering. We had a standard K room & went almost immediately for the bed, exhausted. Which brings us to the bed... she was worn out. Not getting old, not starting to wear. We had boiled eggs, scrambled egg-like substance that was loaded with veggies & the hubs had a waffle. Coffee was drinkable. For under $100 to crash, it was acceptable. I'd prefer they raise the rate & get new mattresses!

At check-in, I noticed I was not offered a room upgrade despite holding Titanium status. Because I had a meeting, I couldn't address it right away. Later that day, I spoke with Eric at the front desk--and that interaction alone guaranteed I will never return. Eric was rude, dismissive, and clearly uninterested in doing his job. Instead of assisting, he deflected responsibility, stating he had "just logged in" and implying I should have handled it earlier. He then brushed me off by saying he would "let them know" in the morning--completely ignoring the fact that upgrades are based on availability at the time of request. When I tried to clarify whether he understood Titanium benefits, his response was vague and borderline sarcastic. It was obvious he either lacked basic knowledge of Marriott Bonvoy elite benefits or simply didn't care. Either way, that level of service is unacceptable. To make matters worse, I was told at check-in that Titanium members would be charged $50 for a late checkout beyond 3 PM--this directly contradicts the guaranteed 4 PM late checkout benefit. Providing inaccurate information to elite members is not just frustrating--it reflects poor training and mismanagement. I travel frequently across several states and stay in Marriott properties often. I have never been treated this poorly or with this level of disregard. The combination of incompetence, misinformation, and outright disrespect from staff is inexcusable. I will NEVER stay at this property again and will actively discourage others from doing so. There are far better options in the area that actually value their guests and honor loyalty benefits.
