In the beginning, the format was more structured, sauna first, then moving into the cold plunge. Now they allow for contrast therapy, where you can move between rooms, which I really enjoy. The only downside is that at this location you have to walk across the hall between spaces. It takes away a bit of the seamless, relaxing flow you get at the some SweatHouz locations, where everything is contained in one suite. That said, it's still such a great escape. I love that it's in a lively plaza where you can make a whole day of it, Pilates, shopping, lunch, and then come in and reset. The main challenge here is noise. If you're in a room near reception, you'll hear conversations pretty clearly. At times the staff can be a bit loud with each other, which breaks the spa-like atmosphere. I found myself turning the music up just to block out chatting and laughter during my last visit. A little more emphasis on maintaining a calm, quiet tone up front would make a big difference. I've also noticed some small upkeep issues recently, like exterior lettering needing attention and the electrolyte station looking a bit messy and understocked. Nothing major, but it does impact the overall polish of the experience. All that said, I genuinely love coming here. It's a treat every time. The Dyson hair dryers are fantastic, and I love that they recently added a red light therapy panel you can use while drying your hair, such a great touch. Overall, still a place I really enjoy and keep coming back to. With just a few tweaks, especially around atmosphere and maintenance, it could feel truly top-tier.

I did extensive research online and settled on Spavia as the place I wanted to have my first experience and I'm really glad I did. Based on the reviews, I chose Luciana and everyone is absolutely right. She is wonderful! She talked me through everything she would do, gently suggested items she thought would help me on my skincare journey but was never pushy at any point, I felt so comfortable throughout the whole session. First, the ladies at the front desk were super welcoming and gave me an iPad to sign in on, that asks a few questions about your skin background, etc. They also ask you what kind of scents you want, what kind of music you want to listen to, and what you want the pressure of your massage to be. The atmosphere was calming, ambient and clean. They give you lockers for your items, a nice fluffy robe and slippers to change into, and free amenities while you wait, like tea, water, weighted neck pillows, etc. While The Retreat room was super nice and relaxing, I didn't have to wait long at all. Luciana came in very quickly afterward, and explained everything to me. We went to a room, where you lay on a table with a little heated blanket and a foam roller for under your knees to support your lower back while you lay. The experience was heavenly. Luciana was gentle with my skin, the massage was so nice. I almost fell asleep on the table! After everything was over, I got changed and headed back to the counter to pay for my experience, Luciana had set out some skincare products that she felt would suit me based on our time together, but again, there's absolutely no pressure to buy them. She didn't stand there and wait for me to make any selections. She simply placed them on a table and walked away. I ended up purchasing one of the two items, a gel cleanser. Whenever purchasing a skincare item you also get to choose a free little gift that they offer which was super nice! As far as what I got, I got the acne purifying facial which comes with a face, neck, shoulder, arm and hand massage and lasts about 60 minutes in total! And it was only $139. For that experience I almost felt like I was stealing! With the skincare product I bought (without the tip) the total came to around $180 (but its a LOT of product). If you want to tip in cash, which I did, they give you a nice little envelope to place it in, with a 'to' and 'from' section to fill out. Multiple machines have been marked "temporarily out of order" for months with no visible effort to repair them. In the locker room and shower areas the lack of sanitation is consistent and obvious. Hair left in sinks for weeks, a water bottle sitting in the handicap shower for over two weeks, a q-tip on the floor for a week, visible buildup on shower floors and walls, and blood on the floor that remained for five days. I personally observed a staff member go stall to stall with cleaning supplies yet the stalls remained visibly dirty afterward. That makes me question whether they're properly sanitizing or just spot-cleaning. There are additional maintenance problems: one shower missing a head entirely, another sprays incorrectly, and a sink that hasn't worked since January. Cleanliness in shared shower facilities isn't optional it's a health responsibility. Management needs to step up. This location could be great, but right now it feels neglected.

When I returned to unfreeze it, I was informed that my membership had been mistakenly terminated by management. I was told it would be corrected within 24-48 hours, but no one followed up for more than a week. I later received an email saying I would need to open a new membership and pay another enrollment fee -- even though the issue came entirely from their own mistake. I declined and requested a call from management several times, but none were returned. Over the past month, I've also noticed what feels like a very disorganized and tense environment. The front desk staff are polite and try to help, but they seem to get almost no training or support. Several employees have personally shared with me that they feel underpaid, inadequately trained, and frustrated by what they describe as nonexistent or unresponsive management. Those private conversations matched what I observed during my visits. Also check out GlassDoor. I also originally chose this location because they advertised infrared and red-light therapy, but those services were not actually available as described, which felt misleading. Based on my experience -- the billing errors, the lack of communication, the unreturned calls, and an overall environment that appears poorly run -- I cannot recommend this place. There are other facilities with much better organization, transparency, and professionalism. At this point, it's obvious this place looks and feels like a joke of a company.
