After suffering with persistent pain for years, I can confidently say that VIP Pain Management…read morechanged my life. I had tried everything--physical therapy, multiple medications, and lifestyle adjustments--but the pain from my sciatica and bursitis simply would not let up. It was daily, constant, and exhausting. Beyond the physical limitations, it began affecting my mood, my relationships, and honestly, who I was as a person. When I was referred to pain management, Dr. Paul Rodriguez's name kept coming up over and over again. I was told he's the doctor doctors go to--and now I understand why. From the very first phone call, the experience was seamless. The office sent all paperwork ahead of time, which I was able to complete and return before my appointment (huge time-saver). If you prefer to do it in-office, that option is there too. The staff is truly wonderful--kind, knowledgeable, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making you feel comfortable and safe. And then there's Dr. Rodriguez. Some people just radiate calm, confidence, and positivity--and he is absolutely one of them. He is thorough, highly knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly reassuring. He asks questions, explains everything clearly, and never makes you feel rushed or dismissed. I felt listened to, respected, and treated like a human being--not just another patient. I received the treatment I needed the very same day. A couple of days, some ice, and... I am pain-free. Truly pain-free. There's a spring in my step again. My husband says my entire demeanor has changed. I wake up refreshed, energized, and ready to take on the day. I can walk, bend, move--and most importantly, I'm happy. After living with pain for so long, you forget just how joyful a pain-free life can be. Surgery is always a last resort at this practice, which I deeply appreciate. The care here is thoughtful, conservative, and centered around real quality-of-life improvement. There is truly no price for how I feel right now. I cannot thank Dr. Rodriguez and the entire VIP Pain Management team enough. If you are living with chronic pain and feel like you've run out of options--this is the place!

I visited her office today for the first of several…read moreappointments to help in the management of severe pain from two broken ribs, and just her demeanor has made me feel better already. She is professional, kind, competent, thorough, and she listens. Moreover, she doesn't have a godlike attitude that too many doctors seem to have today. For more than a week, I have suffered through excruciating pain. Every movement hurts. I cannot sleep a full night without waking up screaming and God forbid I sneeze or cough, as it is a pain that is indescribable. The two ER doctors at two different facilities basically told me that it would be another few weeks of the same and that I would just have to deal with it and push forward. Conversely Dr. Cristancho is really the first to suggest treatment through nerve blockers, whereas one of the two prior doctors only suggested that protocol as a treatment of "last resort" and the other made no mention of it at all. Although I understand that different doctors have different methods, it would have been nice to know that it was even an option. Thankfully, I am aware it is an option now, and although I am psychologically hesitant to have it done just because of the idea of putting needles in my back, I feel totally confident in Dr. Cristancho's recommendation and her abilities.

If you want to feel like your just a number then go here! I moved to Deerfield and was looking for…read morea new doctor to continue my prescriptions with since the website listed that as a service, but as soon as I walked in there they treated me like I was just shopping for pills and I should be ashamed for even trying! They did not look at my charts, just saw my paperwork I filled out up front which had me circle pain related questions, but looked right at me and said "We not giving you those meds"! Not "Sorry here is a alternative", or this doctor can help you in other ways, just a NO! Just wanted to leave a review here so if you move to the area and are looking to continue your pain management, then don't bother! The woman that work there are sharks! Anyways, not going to say where I ended up, but he is a well respected neurosurgeon and I have surgery scheduled in June for artificial C6 replacement with C4 instabilities! Now why would I be taking the same moderate dose of meds for the last 10 years from a major accident and be scheduled for my second surgery from it if I was just pill shopping?! Some of us aren't as fortunate as the rest and other pill head jerks have ruined it for the rest of us who can't exactly control the quality of life while we're in more pain then a dang Tylenol! My road to recovery has been long and I can't stand opiates dictating my life. After all I have been taking them for ten years now and I'm praying surgery will help me with having a semi normal life again, fingers crossed, maybe I can be as good as the doctors there are some day and just take Tylenol?! My plan is to start on methadone two weeks after surgery because it is said to have a quick recovery time. Ya see, someone who has been on opiates for ten years cannot just quit! I get it that they aren't very good doctors so how would the know, but there are other options that they refused to address or they are too scared to face the grueling and ugly DA's office who do challenge them. It's pretty easy to throw my charts at anyone who challenged me in the last ten years and I'm not ashamed over what I can't control. Quality of life only exists from the help of my doctors and some of them don't follow the masses , some still do their job! Anyways, hope this helps someone who may be like me. If you are a pill shopper looking at this to find a free pill stand, just hooked on opiates to fill that void, then still go to a real doctor and better your life! There are ways to get off them properly that isn't extremely painful! I know because I did it a few years back! Even though I escaped the dope sickness, the pain was still there to ruin my life! So after three months I went back on them unfortunately. Anyways, still to this day I continue with a medication called Bupropion, it is a miracle drug,,, it makes you want to quit EVERYTHING! Lol for the first time in my life, after 28 years of smoking, I quit! I'm even at 10 months without a single alcohol beverage! I feel amazing, cut back my meds considerably and that used to be hard for me! Anxiety and that "I need a drink to help with the pain" is gone! GOOD DOCTORS helped me get here, don't waste your time here, your better off buying aspirin then this place! Also, just to mention that I have moved because of work to six different states and 11 different towns since my motorcycle wreck and I have been to many different doctors as a result! Never in my life would I write this long of a bad review on any of them! Just so you are aware that I know how a doctors office SHOULD treat you! Good day, Xpatient
