For more than a week, I have suffered through excruciating pain. Every movement hurts. I cannot sleep a full night without waking up screaming and God forbid I sneeze or cough, as it is a pain that is indescribable. The two ER doctors at two different facilities basically told me that it would be another few weeks of the same and that I would just have to deal with it and push forward. Conversely Dr. Cristancho is really the first to suggest treatment through nerve blockers, whereas one of the two prior doctors only suggested that protocol as a treatment of "last resort" and the other made no mention of it at all. Although I understand that different doctors have different methods, it would have been nice to know that it was even an option. Thankfully, I am aware it is an option now, and although I am psychologically hesitant to have it done just because of the idea of putting needles in my back, I feel totally confident in Dr. Cristancho's recommendation and her abilities.

He and his staff have taken the time to sit and really listen to my needs and even took me in for outpatient treatment the very next day after my very first visit. Regular injections from other doctors were extremely painful for me but Dr Aaron made sure that I did not have to go through that pain again and he didn't want me to have to wait in pain for two weeks like other doctors have done.
