December24th 2025 at Delray Medical hospital, I was admitted for Fusion spine surgery with Dr Robert Norton. I couldn't of asked anything better The staff at the hospital were the kindest people from the front desk to the check out on the next day every single person was extremely careful and caring attentive and taken care of me like I was there family, it was Xmas eve and Xmas day and everyone was happy and singing. On September 11, 2025, I had a Cervical Medial Branch Block of bilateral C3/C4 cervical vertebrae, performed by Dr. Brian Burrough. This is a diagnostic test #2 for Medicare to insure the ablation of the pain nerves associated with C3/ C4 has a good effect. I was born with a fused C2/C3 vertebrae, which resulted in pain and muscle spasms for most of my adult life in my neck, shoulders and scapula. Dr. Burrough is an efficient and professional doctor, who keeps the patient informed through the entire procedure. I had minimal pain through the procedure. My pain was greatly reduced after the procedure for approximately 5 days. The ablation of these nerve tracts is now scheduled for October. I am looking forward to this procedure, which should greatly reduce the pain I have dealt with for many years. The office experience in Boca Raton was also great, with a wait time of less than 10 minutes per visit and always a friendly, professional medical person for the initial part of the visit. read more

Dr Kamerlink specializes in pain management. He has been treating my husband for over a year since we moved to Florida. He has given my husband shots into his shoulder which reduces his pain and also back ablations. He is caring and thorough. Bottom line...it helps a lot so that he could get through the day much easier. read more

My friend had lumbar fusion with him and in six months she was amazing. I'm not going to lie, when I got to his office I was in fear, scared of what he was going to say. He made me feel like I was talking to an old friend. The day of the surgery he gave me lot of confidence. It takes a village to make me feel the way I feel now. Saw both Dr Kunkle and Dr MacMahon. The doctors were very nice, however, the wait in the office is insane. Unless you want to sit and wait as much as 2 hours or even more, I would suggest going elsewhere. The office staff is incredibly rude and they don't answer the phone. It took me three days to receive a return phone call just to change around an appointment. Dr. MacMahon has in my opinion the rudest medical assistant. A highly specialized, exceedingly well trained, and efficiently managed orthopedic practice. Comprised of a stellar orthopedic surgeon (Robert Norton), a sensitive and skilled pain management physician, (Brian Burrough,) and a neurosurgeon (Dr Foltz) as well as a nurse practitioner and PT office. We were introduced to the practice several years ago when they broke away from a much larger practice in Fort Lauderdale. Norton did complicated surgery on my husband in 2016, assisted by neurosurgeon Foltz. It was successful. Burrough has treated me for recurrent pain associated with my moderate to severe spinal stenosis, especially in C3-C4. I've never felt rushed in his exam room, he shows and explains the MRI scans, discusses options for oral medications, progressing to X-ray assisted epidurals, to address flare ups. Goal is to use surgery as a last resort. Appointments are not impossible to obtain although Norton's surgery schedule can impede on an office consult for 4-5 weeks. Best to enter this practice through your primary care referral, and already have had an MRI done. At the risk of sounding sexist (ah, what the hell, go for it), Norton is strikingly attractive, drop dead model looking. And Burrough is a sight for sore eyes, as well as sore cervical or lumbar spines. It's always nice to have attractive physicians as well as well trained, well educated, sensitive and efficient physicians. Why not? Oh ladies, and gents, they are happily married. So, if you need a top rated pain management specialist or Orthopedist specializing on the lumbar and cervical spine, go here. loved this office and Dr. MacMahon, BUT I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK due to billing practices. Dr MacMahon have your billing department do BETTER! After SEVERAL visits in the beginning of the year, paying my copay each time, I received a no show bill on 5/2 after 6 visits prior of $75.00. When I inquired about it, they said I called on 5/4 to reschedule. So just put it this way, let's put some humans in this situation. If you are going to this office you are obviously in pain for some reason, usually pretty BIG pain, hope you feel good enough to drag yourself to the office on your bad days or be prepared to pay. Do not get me wrong, I understand policy, but when I have shown to be a loyal reliable patient I feel like I am due the same respect, because I never complained if I had to wait, and one time I was rescheduled. Think LONG and HARD, I will need surgery eventually, you lost a patient over $75.00 no show fee for a possible upcoming surgery and years of continued visits. read more

When I was interviewing doctors I met with Dr norton. He answered all my questions and he gave me enough time where I thought that I was comfortable with him. Out of all the doctors I did interview he was the only one who told me if I let my problem continue the way that it was with the sciatic that I could possibly have nerve damage. I definitely didn't want that so I did go ahead and do the microdiscectomy. The day of the surgery I was there from 1:00 p.m. and didn't leave until almost 7:00 p.m. I did not like that part. I get things run behind but I did call before I went and they told me to still show up on time, I had been fasting already. But after the surgery I did wake up and literally had no more pain. The sciatic pain was gone. Afterwards I literally had no pain. I only took pain meds the first night and when I needed it after that I used Tylenol pm. You do have to be careful that you're not bending lifting twisting for quite some time. But I would definitely recommend the surgery if someone has already been suffering with sciatic nerve pain read more

I last saw my doctor on 8/11 almost 2 weeks ago for a referral back to physical therapy at the very same center I have been going to. The PT receptionist, Anna still has not contacted me, returned any of my calls, and she continues to ignore my attempts to make appointments for PT. When I am there for PT, Anna enjoys chatting and disrupting the therapists with her personal issues. At one point, I needed to ask the therapist if they can continue their personal chat after my session, since Anna had pulled her away to talk and the therapist forgot about me. Another time, Anna was discussing her work drama and her salary. Anna is completely unprofessional, rude, and not good at her job. read more

I highly recommend Florida Spine Associates. The West Palm Beach and Wellington offices are superior to any medical facility that I have seen. (I am old and injured so I've seen too many to count. ) Dr Ariel Morales is my doctor at FSA and he is AMAZING! I highly recommend him for ortho issues and pain management. I have a triple medical issue of severe neck pain caused by injury and it is complicated by arthritis and degenerating bones that would be needed to hold my new neck parts in place. So, my neck cannot be fixed and my neck pain and mobility continually get worse. When a medical issue like this exists in a person's body, there is no quality of life. It's horrible to constantly have to try to work, keep house, enjoy my grandchildren, etc. with this issue always dragging me down and causing so much pain and limited mobility. Dr Molrales is a doctor who listens and cares. And when I say listen and cares, I mean he really hears me and helps me in every possible way he can. He cares that I hurt bad, I can't sleep and every day is a struggle. He does my neck shots. (Next round of shots in August) After the shots, I get good sleep. We talk every visit about everything that helps and we explore solutions to reduce the pain as much as possible. Right at his location they do most pain relief procedures in house. And, they even have in house physical therapy. Everything needed (with the exception of procedures in which you have to be put go sleep) are done right at his location all in one spot. It is a state-of-the art facility that is clean, organized and comforting. All the girls that work in the office are wonderful too. Corina, Iris, Brittney and the entire staff are so kind , helpful and professional. I have never had a bad experience there and have only ever been 100% satisfied with the care and staff. Making my life work and fulfilling my responsibilities with this ridiculous neck and constant pain is really challenging. But having a great doctor in a top-notch facility is really helping. I originally came to Dr. Morales at Florida Spine due to an insurance issue. I was not happy when my insurance stopped using my original provider and made me switch doctors. But now, I am so glad they did. After everything I've been through related to my neck injury and pain, having such an amazing team of people who listen, care and really work hard to help is really awesome. When my husband inquired about his wait time, he was told "We're a little busy" and that he could move to an exam room in which he would still wait 45 minutes-1 hour. Dr Moralas at Florida Spine Associates cured my Herniated disc. After months of pain and Physical therapy not helping I met with Dr Moralas. He told me my options and scheduled the procedure the following week. It's about five weeks later and just had my follow up visit and am pleased to report that I am virtually pain free. Dr. Burrough took care of my back pain. He performed two epidurals on me and I've been very pleased with the results. He is very knowledgeable, attentive and easy to deal with. Horrible customer service! It is nearly impossible to get a human being on the phone since their phone system is fully automated and you can only leave a voicemail. My husband had his initial visit almost 3 weeks ago now and was advised to start wearing a brace and start physical therapy. We have yet to be able to get an update on receiving the brace or received a phone call from the physical therapist to start his treatment so my husband has been left in horrible pain for 3 weeks now. I am extremely disappointed in the way my husband has been treated and the lack of accountability from this practice who boasts them selves as "world-class spine care." There is nothing world class about the way this office conducts their business or treats their patients. read more

My husband was in a serious car accident on I95 that left him with several broken ribs and a fracture of his spine. Our daughter looked up doctors that would see him immediately. Dr Alam saw him the very next day. He was very compassionate and quickly took all the tests necessary to move forward to help him. My husband was given the choice of waiting to see if the fracture would heal itself or go for the surgery that would be a quicker way to heal. He chose to have the surgery done. Doctor Alam told him he would heal quicker and he did. We have both recommended using Dr. Alam to all of our friends and family. Dr. Alam is an extremely knowledgeable and compassiate man. The doctors might be the most wonderful and talented people, that is, if you can get past the snippy little girls at the front desk. They are spiteful and had me wait over an hour for my appointment. That wasn't so bad, but when I realized I was the only patient left, I asked approximately when will I be seen. The snippy girl continued to type for a few minutes, walked to the back and came out and told me at least another hour or two. Then you will be attacked by two young girls with large egos, as if they are the doctors, and you will be silenced with 20 excuses why the person that came after you for the same doctor was seen before you and left 20 minutes ago, as there were no other patients in the office. I walked out and never saw the doctor. I will wish all of you good luck if you go, but I believe that arrogance starts at the top and gives permission for secretaries to behave badly. If you are a Veteran like me, don't go there. You will be treated like dirt by these office nazis. It's a shame the doctors will never know what goes on with their staff of young, spiteful girls with huge egos. And if you somehow got to tell them, I'm sure they will defend this huge problem they have because they also have huge egos, but at least they worked hard for those egos. read more

I'm only a "dumb" optometrist, but if I, or the offices in which I work, ever treated people the way this office does, I / we would never see patients who loyally return to us year after year. Several calls to make the appointment were excessively long over 1/2 an hour causing me to hang up and give up. But I persisted and finally got an appointment for September 2, 2020 for what turned into a very disappointing overall experience. The person at the front desk did not greet me when I stepped up to the desk as she was too busy paying attention to something on her "smartphone." She had left someone else's name on the sign-in page; a violation of HIPAA Laws. I had made an appointment to see Dr. Norton. Instead, I was seen by "Nicole," who was the Physician's Assistant, never gave me her last name. She told me he does not work on Wednesdays. She had another person take x-rays of my spine. Nicole reviewed the x-rays and told me what was "wrong," provided me with a prescription for meloxicam, (which is a pain killer with toxic long-term side-effects), prescribed physical therapy, told me I could have a copy of my x-rays, and turned me over to "check out" to pay my copay. A follow-up with Dr. Norton was never scheduled. "Stupid me" I forgot to get the copy of my x-rays before I left. Rather than go back up to the office I called from the car. Friday, I spoke with the records custodian who told me it would cost $10.00 to have them send me the disc with my x-rays. During the course of the next week, and several extended hold calls later, I was told that the disc was mailed on Friday, September 4. Mail in the same regions only takes 2-3 days in Florida. Today is September 14. I drove down from Lake Worth 45 mile round trip to pick up my disc. I don't know how they exist as an office! I will not recommend them nor will my primary care physician. read more

I have worked with 3 doctors/surgeons and the physical therapy department. From the front desk of both Florida Spine Associates and the physical therapy department, to the staff of each doctor, to the doctors themselves...what a wonderful experience I had each time I had an appointment. Specifically I would like to recognize the three spine doctors/surgeons and one physical therapist I worked with: Dr. Auerbach, Dr. Alam, Dr. Norton, and Dr. Weiss. They are all so knowledgeable in their specific fields as well as being friendly and caring human beings. I've had two lumbar epidural steroid injections, a diseconomy surgery, and countless hours of physical therapy so I've spent time with these guys. I know what I'm talking about. If you want amazing care, surgeons that aren't going to pressure you into surgery if it's not necessary, staff who answer the phone/email and get back to you, and receive calls/emails/texts with appointment reminders, then this is the place for you. If you have a surplus of time in your day or like reading books in the comfort of a cold clinic, with all means, book your next appointment with FSA.
