Norton spent over seven hours performing a Laminectomy on my neck, and I no longer have any shoulder pain.

Dr. Munoz is young, energetic and loves to shake hands. He is helping us with my mother-in-law's broken hip. The office staff is so efficient when I ask with medical records. I really appreciate that. Only once did it take a long time to get a letter written for my mother-in-law's medicare claim. The group does surgeries across the street at their surgery center. I have no complaints with my experiences there either. All surgeries went well and the staff is compassionate as well as efficient. The only complaint that I have is that waiting time is entirely too long in both places! At least they provide coffee, magazines and a flat screen to keep you occupied while you wait.

Sort of like she couldn't care less about her demeanor. She asked me a question on whether it was an accident. I heard auto so I said no. Then she proceeded to ask how he injured himself and I said he fell. She then sharply reminded me that she asked if it was an accident and I said no. I told her to stop being rude and that I was hearing impaired and she was hard to hear because of the static from her headset. She then argued that she was not rude. Well, that is a problem in itself. Tone of voice says a lot. At the end of the call, I repeated the address she gave me. I misunderstood the suite # and she said NO NO NO NO NO NO NO (probably about 8 times) and then repeated the suite #. I only hope the office manager reads this review. The person answering your calls is the face and voice of the practice. She sets the tone. If she is rude, then your practice is rude. I cannot image that the physicians would tolerate such unprofessional behavior. Having myself been a patient there in the past, I am shocked at how poorly this person handled the call. I have overseen call centers in my lifetime and never would I allow an employee to speak to someone the way she spoke to me.

I went there for low back pain and Dr. Provo took his time with me to find out what the issue is. I needed some shots done and after 4 days it was approved I was called back to get them done. Within the four days i injured my knee so after the Dr. injected me he saw me limping away and asked me is that because of my knee or back. I told him it was my knee. He told me to get back in his office and gave me another shot. I thought that was so awesome that he took more time for me to make sure I was ok. I have been back a couple of times and even got the Stem Cell shot done for my knee because other Orthopedics wanted me to have a total knee replacement. After telling Dr. Provo that he said no way and stem cell was the best to go. Let me tell you it was the best decision I have ever made. Dr Provo always gives you 100% of his time. Heck he always remembers I am a huge Star Trek nerd. lol I have gone back for Physical Therapy and let me tell you Ashton is the best around. I am 6'6" around 260 and there are not a lot of therapists around that could handle my problem. Not only do I see him as my therapist I also see him now as a friend. So that is why the 5 stars. I have been around a lot of orthopedics (unfortunately), but I have to tell you Boca Raton Walk-in Orthopedics is the best around. McKenzie and Miles (sorry for the spelling) are the sweetest and always make you feel welcomed.

At a recent appointment, she mentioned both hands were affected, and the doctor indeed treated both. However, despite this being a clear oversight, the prescription for physical therapy was only given for one hand. My father called to request an update, and the staff outright refused, insisting that we come in person. I went in today, and it was met with dismissive, rude behavior from the receptionist who refused to help. After years of loyalty, this practice has been a complete disappointment--both in care and in customer service. I will not be returning, and I strongly urge others to look elsewhere for professional, respectful care.

I was just thinking about how good my shoulder feels, and decided it was time that I write a review…read morefor Dr. Purita, who made that possible. About me -- injured my right shoulder 12 years ago from weight lifting. Spent years in chronic pain before undergoing surgery in 2011 from a highly respected orthopedic surgeon in Delaware. Shoulder felt better, but nowhere close to 100%, so I saw a local doctor in Springfield, PA and had 5 PRP injections over a period of a few years. The first 4 treatments seemed to help, but something went wrong with the 5th one because I felt a lot of pain both during and after the operation (never experienced that before). The Springfield doctor claimed it was a "flare-up", which seemed questionable because he had never disclosed that side effect before. I decided it was time to see a professional, and went to Dr. Purita to perform stem cell treatment on my shoulder. I was very impressed with my entire experience. I flew to Florida and got diagnosed. We then scheduled the stem cell treatment shortly thereafter. The treatment--which involves many needles, removal of fat cells and stem cells--is not for the faint of heart, but it's worth it. His staff is very knowledgeable and friendly, and the technology in his operating room is impressive. Sinatra playing in the background was a nice touch. I had a follow-up PRP session with Dr. Purita about 6 months later, per their recommendation. Now about 18 months removed from the stem cell treatment, my right shoulder feels as good as it has ever felt since the injury. I tried EVERYTHING over a period of almost 12 years, including PT, prolotherapy, PRP, surgery, and then finally stem cell treatment. It wasn't until I bit the bullet and opted for stem cell treatment with Dr. Purita that my shoulder showed significant signs of improvement. The goal was to return to moderate weight lifting, and not feel pain on a day to day basis. That goal has been accomplished. I thank Dr. Purita and his staff for making that possible.

You have to pay for the treatment yourself as insurance will not pay for the PRP./Stem Cell treatment, but it is well worth it to at least consider this as a viable option for your bad joints.
