Don't bother - typical practice where nobody takes any responsibility, everything is someone else's fault, and nobody is actually interested in finding resolutions to problems. This place is more interested in grabbing as much money from you as possible rather than actually practicing medicine. The physical therapy is also subpar. Dr Shapiro was great. Sent to pain management Dr by Dr Baluch (also good). HOWEVER - Dr Leizman was barely human! He walked into room - no introduction for 3-4 minutes. Told me after reviewing chart I needed epidural injection. Never explained what that entailed. Didn't ask me if I had questions, left room within 5 minutes. Awful experience. I went to orthopedic Associates and I met with Dr. Shapiro regarding my knee. He was terrif. Send me for an MRI immediately and I already have an appointment for Monday! This really sweet girl Denise in their office made it great for me! I never thought I'd get an appointment this fast. I was thinking it would be a month and here it is just a few days I'll have to wait . This Denise was the nicest lady I ever got to speak with in an office. Dr. Elvis Grandic seemed like a good surgeon. My knee is doing well but it took me a few weeks to get rid of the excruciating pain. Dr Grandic's office staff was sooo bad and non-responsive. I was initially scheduled for surgery on November 17th and even after several calls and messages and no call backs I could not have surgery that day because I didn't complete my pre surgical things. The reason being is that I never got any preoperative instructions. I called beginning a week before surgery 2x a day to ask what needs to get done before surgery. Needless to say I could not have surgery on that date because they f'd up. They rescheduled me for the 27th but it was soooo inconvenient and they couldn't care any less. I believe the anesthesiologist messed up because the pain I felt was practically unbearable after the surgery. read more

Last October 4th, I suffered a fall that caused me to have a broken femur neck. At the advice of an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Courtney, at Boca Raton Regional Hospital, I had surgery to implant 3 screws to correct my broken leg. At the first of the year, I was forced to change insurance companies because my previous company no longer would cover anyone in Palm Beach County. Unfortunately, my leg began to hurt more and more and I had a few tests that indicated to the doctors that I needed more surgery, namely a Hip Replacement. My previous surgeon doesn't accept my new insurance company nor does the hospital where my surgery was performed. So I began a search for a new surgeon and hospital. Orthopaedic Surgery Associates is located across the street from Bethesda Hospital East. My wife, Diane and I looked up any information we could find about Orthopedic surgeons in the area that take my insurance, Florida Blue Select. We came to the conclusion that my best selection for an Orthopedic surgeon was Doctor John Wang. He has a very good rating by US News and World Reports as well as many other online rating services. I met with Dr. Wang in his very modern office on March 15. He looked over my x-rays and MRI. He agreed with my previous surgeon, Dr. Courtney that I needed an Arthroplasty (Hip Replacement) with a Revision of my previous surgery for a broken Femur neck that resulted in the implantation of 3 screws. I had developed an Avascular Necrosis in the head of my femur where it meets the hip joint due to the loss of blood to the area following my fall. The screws would need to be removed and an artificial hip inserted in the area where my original upper femur was. Dr. Wang's associate, Sandra told me that the soonest I could come in for surgery would be April 9. It's a long time to wait when you are in daily severe pain. Later, Sandra was able to fit me in on April 2. It did give me time to get pre-surgical clearance and various tests from my primary physician. I checked in to the Ambulatory Surgery Center at Bethesda Hospital East in Boynton Beach. Dr. Wang performed the surgery in a few hours. After a day and a half, I was discharged. So far, so good! Thanks to Dr. Wang at Orthopaedic Surgery Associates for bringing my hip back to what I hope will soon be a relatively pain-free existence. read more

I am very pleased with the care that I have received. Dr. Grandic performed my surgery along with his team, November 20, 2019. They are amazing! I am very happy with the care and treatment and the outcome of the surgery it is four weeks later and I am healing up very well. Its difficult to rate this practice. The doctors are wonderful!!! Unfortunately the office is ran by incompetent people to put it in a very polite manner. I would comfortably say that the assistant to Dr Leizman does not tell the patient the truth or return calls. For example she had to submit an authorization for me which she filled out incorrectly I got a copy from the insurance company When confronted she did not admit the mistake. I don't quite understand how she is allowed to behave this way. I can say the same for the office manager whom I escalated the matter. She defended the assistant by saying that she is busy due to the office move to Boynton. She was defensive and did not try to solve the problem. Well, incompetence catches up with you at some point. Disappointing that such people are tolerated. After all its a matter of liability . Patients come here to get help and not be disrespected and abused by staff. But if no one holds them accountable they get away with it. read more

Think this practice is more about co-pays and less about actual care. I was so-so about my initial appt. to look into a severe finger sprain that didn't seem to be healing. Dr Luskin seemed dismissive about my situation which to him probably was nothing, but to me very painful after 10 weeks. Not impressed with him but went through with therapy which he recommended and just happened to be in the same bldg. My therapist was great and pleasant. After 2 sessions I lcame back for my follow-up which I was told would be quick but wasn't and I had to leave before seeing the doctor. Rescheduled for an 8 am appt so I could get to work in time only to find out he doesn't even get here until 830. What the..?? If it wasn't for the co-pay I paid last time, I would have left again. But, I won't be coming back and I would not recommend him. read more

I get a call a half hour before leaving for their office. They do not take my insurance. Why did they take my insurance information and set up an appointment ? Incompetant bozos. In January 2017 I saw Dr. Elvis Grandic for a knee problem. He was very polite, took almost an hour to sit with me and explain my problem on a level I could understand. In March, I had full knee replacement for my left knee. He was right on top of everything. This December I am having full knee replacement on my right knee. With Fibromyalgia as an enemy, he was always attentive to my special needs and would return calls promptly. I have no hesitation in recommending him. read more

Went for a consultation for major surgery. Office confirmed appt 2x's on phone. Asked upon arrival if on time - was told yes. Amazed - must have been 30 pp in waiting room - looked like a manufacturing room. 30 minutes later they registered me having me sign papers for insurance. I asked again - told me they would take me quickly. Said I allotted 90 minutes - receptionist shook her head and said no - they always have a wait! I asked what consultation charge was (I have a copay) - they wouldn't tell me - said they couldn't. Listened to folks in the waiting room complaining - wait times, pain, unsuccessful/unexpected outcomes from whatever their procedures were - this influenced me personally to feel that this was not an office for me. No doubt others have wonderful experiences. I never saw the doctor, but based on the waiting room, conversations overheard, receptionist avoidance to questions, and misleading in appointment - this was not a practice for me.
