As I see some of other reviews about billing and insurance I'm not sure how anyone can magically know what the insurance companies are going to start denying coverage for next. I have had some issues with my health insurance company covering my care with my podiatrist and it was something that was covered earlier this year and now they are not covering it anymore and didn't send out a notification. So I don't blame my podiatrist for that. I fought with the insurance company and got it approved after a review.

I set up a virtual appointment to make sure I'd have my medication filled before I ran out. I never received my virtual call. I called the office 4x that day, saying I'd get a call back. Never did. I then had my annual scheduled for a month later. I tried to do both of these appointments together, but, of course not. More money spent. The PA gave me the wrong results of my bloodwork, not once, but twice. I also had a UTI a month after my annual. What should have been a quick appointment, turned into 1.5 hours.

I was then sent a link to complete all the new patient forms prior to arriving, which is so much better than having to hand fill out 10 forms and it doesn't require you to arrive early to do so. Took me about 5 minutes to complete everything. I even received a phone call to let me know there was an issue with one portion which I was able to correct prior to my appt. Had they not called to let me know, I wouldn't have been able to been seen, so I'm glad they paid attention to my paperwork. My appt time was 2:30 and I showed up 8 minutes early. The place was very easy to find and they have their own parking lot with many available spaces. Upon walking in, the lobby is clean, bright and comfortable. I was called back right at my appt time which usually unheard of at doctor' offices! I chose to see the physician's assistant - Satie Kallicharan. She was very thorough in discussing my health and educating me on a couple things. She even came up with a plan of how we will test and monitor for any health issues. I felt like I spoke with Satie for a while and she answered all of my questions. They even perform bloodwork in office so I was able to handle that same day. I was back in my car by 2:58. I have NEVER had such a thorough, yet quick doctors experience which is usually why I hate/avoid the doc (probably not good practice lol). I have a follow up in two weeks and I'm actually not dreading it and hope it's as quick and smooth as my first visit!

They don't like to return phone calls!! They need more…read moredoctors and less PA's and Nurse Practitioners. They don't have Rapid Urinalysis Testing. They don't treat you until your test results come back and you can't do that for a 5 -7 day turnaround. I had to go to MD Now while I waited for my results from Revamed. MD Now had Rapid Urinalysis results plus called in a Broad Spectrum Antibiotic while waiting for results to come back from the lab. Bravo MD Now! Shame on Revamed. My doctor retired from Revamed in July. I've been a patient for over 20 years and they should be ashamed of themselves. Do not choose this practice for your Primary Care. They have three offices and they have all gone downhill They gave one decent doctor. Dr Bastien is fantastic but a doctor is only as good as their Administrative and backup staff and their Nurse Practitioners are not all competent. I have plenty of examples to backup my statements. I had to come here as Social Security assigned him to me to do my Disability evaluation. From the…read moremoment I walked in the door the staff was hostile and rude and ableist openly making fun of me. Dr. Mark refused to wear a mask and actually slammed the door on my walker! He also had his receptionist slam the receptionist window in my face because I asked them to wear a respirator in an ongoing airborne pandemic. The receptionists also threatened to call the police on me because I asked for a letter saying he was refusing to do the examination for disability and refusing accessible accommodations. This is the only time I have ever reported a medical healthcare worker to the Florida Dept of Health as well as the AMA. This is not a doctor that should be allowed to practice and should never be assigned to vulnerable immune compromised patients from the social security disability office. I was thankfully assigned a different doctor for my evaluation who did mask with their staff and was the exact opposite of this office. I would say run away but if you are disabled then get out of there as soon as you are physically able to do so. Never ever go here. If I could give a negative review I would of below zero I would.

I think a positive attitude and compassion is necessary when going to a doctor visit because your already nervous about such visits.
