My experience with Dr. Gelb was extremely disappointing. At my first surgical consultation, Dr…read more Gelb clearly stated that I needed knee surgery for a complex medial meniscus tear shown on my MRI. However, because of a burn injury on my knee, he advised that I complete physical therapy first and return once the skin had healed. When I returned for follow-up -- just a few weeks later and still in significant pain -- he abruptly told me that my knee was "fine" and completely dismissed my symptoms. The new note omitted all mention of the meniscus tear and the prior surgical plan, even though the second MRI (done within six weeks) showed the same tear and bone edema. Since that visit, I have seen multiple orthopedic surgeons, all of whom confirmed that surgery is needed. I left Dr. Gelb's office feeling dismissed, unheard, and deeply frustrated by the lack of honesty and continuity in my care. Patients deserve to have their pain and imaging findings acknowledged and documented accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen in my experience with this provider.

I worked with many different physical therapists during the past 40 years. However, the experience with Gerald Stern was unique and extremely helpful. He patiently taught me how to use the McKenzie method to realign my spine to help reduce the pain. I was quite skeptical, but learned how to stretch and work the exercises into my daily routine. Months later, the pain is significantly less and I am so grateful.

I've been coming for two months. Mary Stern is awesome. I look forward to my next visits (which is insane if you knew me). She is very smart and knows technics for the spine that very few therapists know (McKenzie method). She cares....and that is the best trait in a heath care professional. She talks through and finds the solution(s). I was hesitant to post this glowing review because I didn't want to let the secret out. Gerry is the other therapist and seems to have similar characteristics (his patients are happy). I truly found my personal therapist for as long as Mary will take me (all future problems). No more one and done. She has me hooked on the process and my neck pain is way better than it was before I met her. Thanks!!!!!!!

I really like Dr. Provo. He has a martial arts background, so he has been very helpful as I have…read morebeen getting a few joint injuries due to my own martial arts training. Every time I come to him, he says, " What did you do now?" With a chuckle, of course. I really appreciate that he is not quick to suggest overly invasive remedies - he's a fan of PT and now I am, too, and natural ways to reduce inflammation and increase strength to prevent injury. I have learned that many injuries are simply due to weakness and, for me, overtraining, but he gives me the guidance and care I need so I can continue to train safely. It's also pretty easy to get an appointment when you want. On the other hand, I do find his front desk staff to be aloof and cold, and often I have to wait a very long time to be seen, but it's par for the course at so many medical practices, unfortunately.

After getting the boot I had questions about any limits to walking, anything I should watch out for, best pain management, etc. I sent messages through the office portal, and left messages at the office phone number (no one answers the phone at any time during the day) and it has been radio silence for the week. I called the Orthopedic Center of Palm Beach County general # and was told no other doctor can answer my questions. I am so disappointed with this entire experience. Clearly I should have selected another Orthopedics practice.

I tried to get into Holy Cross Orthopedics, but they only had to spinal specialists and no matter my pain and agony, they couldn't see me for over a month. So, I left the hospital with nothing but a bunch of rather ineffective pain pills. About a year before, my partner had a spinal problem and had sought medical help from Florida Spine Associates. He was thrilled with them. So, I checked them out on Yelp and Goggle and was delighted with the outstanding credentials of their doctors. I gave Florida Spine Associates a phone call and was able to make an appointment with Dr. Kamerlink within a week, as they honestly cared that I was in great pain. Since then, I've had two spinal injections and I am much better. I have nothing but praise for Dr. Kamerlink who is a most caring helpful and understanding doctor.

I have been having scar tissue in my shoulder from tennis for a couple of years now (with a clean MRI) and I have not found anyone under insurance to massage and get the scar tissue out of my shoulder, but Dr. Rodman has done just that. On his website, it states that he is trained in scar tissue remolding and he has done just an excellent job getting the scar tissue out of my shoulder under insurance rather than me having to pay hundreds of dollars each week to go see a medical masseuse out of pocket. He is first and foremost such a kind man and very knowledgeable about the human body as well. He does not try to upsell you on any of his services that he offers outside of insurance and he is not just one of those chiros that believes cracking everything is just going to solve all of your problems. He really takes the time to listen and understand the patient's lifestyle and try to find solutions to your problems and not just tell you information that he learned just from the book. His support system around him is also top notch. I went to do a physical therapy session with Dr. Tristan to learn how to strengthen my shoulder in the areas with the scar tissue and I really appreciate that Dr. Tristan targeted exercises for me that were not just for strengthening my shoulder in general like I experienced at other physical therapy for my shoulder, but exercises that really targeted the scar tissue for my shoulder. I also want to thank Lori and Anna who are apart of the front office team! They are very organized with handling all appointments and billing and verifying insurance that I feel there is no hassle on my end with anything logistical! Overall his Dr. Rodman and his whole team are very nice and competent people! My mom, dad, brother, and now myself have all been to him and we just love his services so much! Lastly, let me say this...I do not like going to the doctors...but I like going to them! Please go if you need work on your body and go before your problem gets big because the longer you wait with your problem, the longer it will take Dr. Rodman and his team to heal your problem.
