let me just say that the office staff is hands-down, the most unorganized, uncaring, rude people I have come across in a doctor's practice. I have seen this doctor since he started practice, and I can no longer get past what it takes to get the office staff to submit records or make even a simple appointment without a symphony of errors, and disrespect. Went for pre-op for clearance for surgery. Upon checking out I was told it's $215 copay $15 and $200 for being cleared for surgery. I asked for diagnosis code and or procedure code and was told they didn't have one. Found it to be strange as I have great insurance. So after being told they didn't have a code for me they would speak to doctor Anne Mon who was doing my clearance. I waited for about 20 mins just standing there. I took my generic receipt and left. Called my insurance company and was told it should have been covered and I should NOT have been charged. My insurance company called the office and was told it's going towards my surgery. My surgery isn't even at this office. It's a total money grab, insurance scam fraud and theft. I have disputed it with my credit card. I can't imagine how many Boca families are getting scammed daily from this office. Aside from scamming me the front office staff was RUDE. Stay away unless you want to be scammed out of money that doesn't belong to them!! read more

Doctor Wishnov is a wonderful person with great diagnostic talents. I had an accident last week right near his office. It was Doctor Wishnov's day off but he just happened to be in the office. I was bleeding from my forehead. Instead of telling me to go to the emergency room he immediately took care of me. He took care of the wound and stitched me up. He did a great job. I came from New York seven years ago. I visited many Doctors. Didn't like them at all. After finding him I thought I won the Doctor lottery! I wish there were more Doctors like him.I can't thank him enough. read more

I am writing on behalf of my 79-year-old mother who has been a patient of Dr. Wishnov for 13 years. In Jan of this year, he began charging her $20 for her semi-annual blood test despite being fully covered for laboratory work under her insurance. When questioned as to why he was doing so after 13 years, Dr. Wishnov had the audacity to tell my mother that her insurance isn't paying him enough. How does that become the problem of the patient, and how much money does Dr. Wishnov need to earn? She contacted her insurance and they concurred that he is not allowed to do so. In retaliation Dr. Wishnov sent her a letter severing any patient/doctor relations. Amazingly today she received another notice informing her that he is starting a new practice, "Palmetto Park Concierge Care," and now expects patients to pay an annual fee of $2500 to become a member. LOL! If you choose not to participate, you have the option to see the nurse or seek medical care elsewhere. I hope he loses all his patients. Greed will ultimately result in his downfall. read more

What a shame! I love Leanne Butler, my nurse practitioner here, but due to the absolutely offensive office manager, insanely rude and unhelpful office staff, nurses with no personality and the fact that they refuse to give me my medical records in time for another appt with a specialist, I will no longer be returning and NO ONE SHOULD USE THIS PRACTICE. I have never experienced such an unbelievably unprofessional office staff in my life. I was argued with and put in a defensive position in a power struggle instead of making me, the patient, feel safe and cared for. The office manager here should be fired and is an absolute liability to this practice, which is what I told Dr. Wishnov. He agreed and said that she has terrible people skills, but yet still seems to think that she is a wonderful office manager, and that his front desk staff is acceptable. I would warn anybody choosing this practice to consider that you will wait forever in the waiting room for your appointment. (They are never on time.) Nobody except for Leanne Butler is worth anything professionally. I will sorely miss her because she is one of the best medical practitioners I've seen, but I can never go back to this practice and don't believe anybody should. It is no surprise that they have a 2.5 rating!!! read more

Dr.Wishnov is amazing, but after years and years being his patient I had to switch my pcp because of the manager, Janet. Dr.Wishnov has no right allowing her to talk to his patients the way she does. The nurse staff disregarded my multiple prescription requests from nearly two weeks ago not only from me, but two from my pharmacy I use as well. I called today to ask why my medication hasn't been filled and Janet told me I never called and it's not logged in their call book that I left messages on their prescription refill line. I have been out of medication that I need daily for a week now. Janet is not a doctor and as a patient of Dr.Wishnovs she tried giving me medical advise stating my medication I need is not a necessity and the doctor won't fill it. I then proceeded to ask if she would put Dr.Wishnov on the phone. I told her for health reasons and not the medication I needed to speak with him as he is my doctor and I'm concerned for my health without my medication. Janet 100% refused to allow me to speak with him. I then told her I am leaving a message and she denied allowing me to do that as well. Therefore if you have a true medical condition be aware Janet doesn't care! Janet should have no social human interaction with people. She is a nasty and rude person. read more

Office on SW corner of 441/7 and Palmetto; comfortable enough waiting room (w/tv, periodicals and saltwater tank to alleviate wait time), affable staff, very efficient techs/nurses (no problems drawing blood, numerous visits as evidence), Dr. Wishnov is quick, thorough, reads the chart every time, honest with his feedback without being either condescending or cloying, personable, conveys a true concern that his patients get into gear with staying healthy and living longer. Office seems busy enough not to need new patients, but they get to you, even when fully booked, in a reasonable time- worth trying if you need a new PCP. They accept BCBS ins., among presumed others. read more

Ok. I have not seen this doctor in over 20 years, but my visit was without a question the rudest I ever was treated at a doctor's office. That's right, this was the rudest I was ever treated in a doctor's office. There is not even a close second in terms of rudeness. When lived in Orlando, my primary care physician was a DO who also did the basic chiropractic adjustments along with all of his other medical duties. He was a jack of all trades! The insurance did not cover those DO chiropractic adjustments, but I just paid an additional $20. On my first visit,, I asked someone at Dr. Wishnov's office if Dr. Wishnov did these DO chiropractic adjustments. The nurse said: "Talk it over with the doctor." Dr. Wishnov comes flying into the exam room in a rage! He was complaining about how much my HMO coverage. I don't make any money from your HMO right now. He said: "What do you want? A 30-minute massage in the middle of the day? Then, I don't get paid!!! I told him: "I did not force you to take that HMO." The mistake was on his part. Family member needed to wait an hour with no one in the office. Front desk was rude. They don't take American Express and even though we are established patients they said they needed our Insurance card again because they changed systems. However they didn't tell us this when we booked the appointment over the phone. Very long wait and unaccommodating. People have work schedules and we went on our lunch break so we could make it back to work on time, however you need to take an entire day off just to have a quick doctors appointment. We were only going for medication refill. This place has gone downhill since Andrea left. We are going to have to make the drive to Boynton Beach to follow Andrea there. Don"t use his office. They only answer the phones for appointments. For get getting a call back if there is a problem or you need a prescription refill. No one will return your call!! My mother in law had to get an MRI and I could not get the DR. or his office to call back with results. Finally I called the appointment line and I was told we would have to come in and pay for an office visit. They do not care about paints there its just about collecting your insurance money. Never see the Dr only his assistant, office never called me about my blood test, they claim they did but NO, I had to call and found out one of my levels were way to low. No attempt to follow up.
