However, they have been under new management for a couple of months. All the previous providers have left the practice. I was never notified that my provider left the practice. In fact, photographs of my former provider and others are still on the webpage, so how was I to know they left? I never received a phone call or a letter in the mail. I found out about this recently when my insurance request requested a prior authorization. I went to their new website, and my provider wasn't listed. So I called to ask about this. The first time I called and the phone rang forever with no one picking up the phone. When I was finally able to get through, a young lady answered the phone. I told her about my situation with the prior authorization and she told me that my provider was no longer there. I was told that I had to come in and see a new provider and when I asked why , I was told have a nice day and then hung up on. I wasn't rude; I just had questions, like who my new provider is and why they need me to come in, since I just had an exam two months earlier. And I don't know why, but they called me back 10 minutes later and said they suddenly had an appointment for me the next morning. So I came in to see what was going on. My new provider was very young and I'm not sure how much experience they had. While they were nice, she informed me of the new policies. For example, they began charging for blood draws in the office that had previously been free. It was $35, and now it's down to $15; otherwise, I have to go to another location to have my blood drawn. They put an order for me to have my blood work drawn, even though I just had it drawn 6 to 8 weeks. I asked for a prior authorization which I was told they would do, but after two weeks, I went to my pharmacy and they said they never received one. The front desk used to be helpful, but recently when I went in, everybody was sitting around in a circle talking to each other, pretty much ignoring that I was there. This used to be a very warm, friendly practice that put the patient's needs first. Now, it seems this new management is very business-oriented, looking for ways to make more money at the expense of providing good customer service and focusing on my healthcare needs. I am now leaving this practice, which makes me sad. I feel very sorry for older people who go there. They probably don't know who their provider is anymore and will have to start over with a new provider from the beginning. It's hard to find a good medical practice for your routine healthcare these days, especially in Boca Raton, where everybody is moving towards concierge service. I wouldn't be surprised if this place goes out of business in the next year.

During a routine 6-month physical, staff performed an EKG. Shortly after, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) informed me that I was actively having a myocardial infarction (a heart attack) and ordered me to rush to the ER. In a state of total panic, I went straight to Baptist Health ER, where they initiated full cardiac protocols, including blood work, x-rays, and monitoring. After a terrifying 45-minute wait, the ER physician reviewed the paperwork brought from Dr. Stein's office and discovered a glaring error: the second page of the report explicitly stated that the EKG leads had been placed on the wrong side of my body. It was a false positive caused entirely by staff incompetence. When I called the practice to report this, the NP was incredibly dismissive, stating, "My bad, I don't read those interpretation notes." I spoke with the Office Manager, who promised that she and Dr. Stein would follow up with me. It has now been two weeks. I have received zero follow-up, no apology, and they haven't even called to give me my routine blood work results. As a cancer survivor, regular blood monitoring is critical to my ongoing health. To completely ignore a patient after a traumatizing, costly, and entirely avoidable ER scare is unacceptable. Please be warned and protect your health--avoid this practice.

He would be sure to stop in on my mom during hospitalizations sometimes 2 or more times in a day. It is now 2 years later and unfortunately my 91 year old father is now facing medical issues. I accompanied my father there on a recent appointment. Dr. Alley has a super staff. The nurse Alaina & Gaelle, who I believe is an assistant know my dad by name and could not be more friendly or kind. Alaina, is very professional and so respectful of my dad. Dr. Alley makes my father (and me) feel like he is the only patient in the office. He explains medical information in "patient-friendly" language. So are patients sometimes waiting an inordinate amount of time for their appointment? The answer is yes. Should that affect the 5 star rating I've given Dr Alley and his staff? Absolutely Not! Before Dr. Alley treated my mother, I was was one of the many "unhappy patients" when a doctor or dentist made me wait a lengthy amount of time in the waiting area. But after the amount of time he doles out in treating his patients, I will never make that complaint again. So if you are in that office waiting, please don't take it out on Linda, the receptionist. Just know you are in the best hands of the best physician and staff, ever!

I hired him to be my concierge…read moredoctor and on two occasions when I had serious issues he was very rude and uncaring and unprofessional. The first was when I had my eye turned red and I couldn't see I called him and he said oh call an ophthalmologist tomorrow. The second incident was more serious I woke up and the room was spinning and I was very dizzy and I called him at 8:30 in the morning he was very rude and very abrupt and told me-I will have the office call you when they open and they will probably have you get some exercises to do I spoke as quickly as I could because he was rushing me off the phone and reminded him that I had an MRI a few months ago and there was a small tumor in my ear he "said no that wouldn't be it. " At 9:15 his office called and told me they could see me at 3:30 I said I can't wait till 330 I'm so dizzy can't you get me in sooner and the response was no we can't do anything better than that but be careful when you walk be sure and hold onto someone is what I was told. Needless to say I had to go and see another doctor they could see me immediately that was not a concierge doctor that I paid $1900 for the year. When I first contacted Dr Reznick, it was for a interview only. I had recently moved to Boca Raton,…read moreand was dismayed by the patient load that most all of the doctors had. Once I thought about it, it was perfectly reasonable to have a large patient load in an area with such a high concentration of older folks. It's just a fact of life that older people have more stuff wrong with them than their younger counterparts, and there are simply not enough doctors (especially internists) to go around: ergo long waits both for appointment times and in their offices. My first meeting with Dr. Reznick was both pleasant and informative. He explained the concept of "concierge" medicine: to wit if you charge an upfront fee, you can limit your patient load accordingly and therefore carry a lighter patient load. In this way you can give the patients you do have much more expedient and intensive care. I didn't sign up with Dr Reznick at that time because as I said "I'm really not that sick (or old) and I didn't want to pay for something I wasn't going to use very often" Well, several months later, I did get really sick, and I immediately signed up with Dr. Resnick's practice because I felt I needed an interested and competent "quarterback" to help me through what turned out to be kidney cancer. I came though that operation fine and a subsequent one for a different reason at well. Sometime thereafter I developed hypertension, and he was there for me with compassionate, same-day service. So to sum it up I highly recommend this doctor and his practice. In the last few years I have encountered several medical conditions that I never had to deal with as a younger guy. I feel very confident that I am getting the Best medical care available. His staff is competent, efficient and understanding. He is a caring, competent professional, and the practice is the best I have ever used.
