Highly knowledgeable on gear and board options. Not the typical service you receive from big box stores. Be patient as you may have to wait your turn during the ski season. read more

Best place if your looking to try out a Never Summer board around soCAL. Jeremy was very helpful with all the questions I had. They know what they're talking about and I got hooked up :) I'm now a R/C guy =P Worth the drive! Check em out. read more

These guys are great. Good prices, huge selection, but most importantly, top customer service. No brainer if you're in the market for renting or buying a snowboard. read more

Surprised I haven't wrote a review for this awesome shop yet. However, if you are ever in need of snowboard expertise, gear, rentals, clothing, and anything else snowboard related, you should definitely check this place out. Been coming here for a handful of years now getting my board waxed and finally caved into buying a new board. You probably get more knowledge about products coming out of the shop than you do online. Will definitely continue coming here for snowboard needs for bae and i. read more

My son and I are so happy we discovered Olympus Board Shop. My son found a new snowboard and bindings within his budget and the customer service was outstanding. read more

Just had a pretty unpleasant call with these guys. They picked up the phone and answered very loudly, "MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM OLYMPUS BOARDS SANTA IS COMING!" I wasn't sure if it was an automated message or not, so I didn't say anything. Guy on the other end said "hello?" Then I said "oh sorry I wasn't sure if that was an automated message or not." Then the guy on the phone answers, in the most absurd Apu voice imaginable, "NOPE THIS IS A REAL PERSON! YOU ARE NOT TOCKING TO INDIA!!" Do you clowns not realize that Indian people might also want to do business here? I was looking to buy a brand new snowboard, boots, and bindings, but whatever buffoon answered the phone just lost hundreds of dollars worth of business. I'm definitely not looking to support a shop that employs casual racists. read more

This is my second time visiting the Olympus Board Shop. We needed to get new boots for a new snowboard set up as we were leaving for Mammoth the next day. I texted about 30 min before closing for a post closing appointment. Not only did they accommodate our last minute appointment, but they were also super understanding of our traffic situation coming from West LA. They helped us with our snowboarding boots selection and gave us a generous added-on service to set up the bindings on the board along with the new boots. They were all knowledgeable and it was overall a really positive experience coming here. I highly recommend coming here and I will definitely come back again for any future gear purchase or tuning! read more

The guys at Olympus are great! I've been going to them for about 2 years now and they're so easy to work with. They know what they're doing and get our rentals ready for us so it's an easy pick up. I like the small shop feel and prefer supporting local businesses. I love that they let you pick up your equipment a day early and drop it off the day after you return (at no extra charge!) I'll definitely keep coming back! read more

Getting boards waxed here is cheap. They do an excellent job. They had our boards ready in one day.

I send all my friends here for snowboarding gear. Jeremy, Marcus, and the team at Olympus really go out of their way to help their customers. Recently, my binding broke and Jeremy convinced the manufacturer to expedite the replacement part so I could have it on my next trip less than 2 weeks out, incredible! They've all seamlessly helped me through other warranties, board repairs, and gear recommendations, I can't thank them enough. Olympus is such a great local snowboard shop. They remember you when you come back and bust their butts to get you in the right gear. Olympus only stocks top quality gear and they have a vast selection of top snowboards. Jeremy likes to push Never Summer boards (which are great boards), but he does stock most of the other top brands if you're looking for something different. The staff are always eager to help beginners get started and provide expert advice to advanced riders as well. read more

This place is the absolute best! When our daughter wanted snowboard gear we headed straight to Olympus, just as we had with our other two children. You are helped by guys who snowboard so they know what they're talking about and are able to make informed recommendations to help you get the best equipment for your needs at amazing prices. Jeremy, the owner, Marcus, Trent & Beau provide outstanding customer service. Snowboards, paddle boards, surf boards, skate boards & all accessories, if you need it you're crazy not to head to Olympus and support a great local business! read more

Great service, selection and would definitely recommend this local shop for all your snowboard gear or rental.

The occasion was for my nephews first time going snowboarding. They didn't want to spend money on a whole new set up so renting boards was the next option. Prices at the mountain were crazy especially on a holiday weekend. The staff was very knowledgeable and fast in setting up the nephews with a board and boots. The boots were boa system which made it easier for first timers to set up. The selection of the size of the board was perfect for their size which made them fall in love with the sport. Great prices. Awesome staff. My go to rental shop for my family and friends looking to rent. read more

I went to Olympus before my very first Snowboarding trip. Not only they hooked me up with everything I needed from head to toe, they made sure my gear was the best fit for me and my skill level. I took beginner lessons at Mammoth and my board and bindings got so many compliments from the staff! I'll definitely stop by Olympus before my next trip and couldn't recomend it more. read more

could not be happier, Jamey and the crew at both shops love my new boots, bindings and board and thank you for selling my old stuff

This local board shop is a snowboarders dream come true. Not only are their prices super reasonable, they give you a real honest assessment of what your board and other equipment need. From all the employees to meeting the owner Jeremy, the experience was warm and friendly. This is one business that earns your trust and loyalty. read more

Jeremy and his crew at Olympus are great. I knew of Olympus because I've taken my snowboard there for tuneups. I needed the SUPs, out of season, as a bday present for the girlfriend. Jeremy spent a lot of time with my girlfriend and I discussing SUPs, pros and cons, and he is extremely knowledgable. All this happened while he was in the middle of a holiday ski weekend and the shop was crazy busy with snowboarders. Jeremy also took the time to custom build and extend some paddles, especially for me, since I'm tall, that are just non-existent in that size in the marketplace. Kudos to Jeremy and his team. If you need snowboard stuff, or SUPs, run, don't walk, to Olympus Board Shop, and they'll treat you right. Brad Smith read more

10 stars. These guys are extremely experienced and explain everything to all their customers. I went in looking for a new pair of boots and when they didn't have the pair in my size, they ordered it on rush, called the provider and kept me updated daily so I could get it them for my trip. No other place would bend over backwards for their customer like they did and I am very grateful. You don't find shops like this anymore. Snowboard shops in LA are a lost art and but this is a gem. I highly recommend this place if you need any type of gear or just wanna talk snowboarding. Could not recommend it any more read more

Love this place! Jeremy was so accommodating. The boards were nice and the people working there were even nicer! Thank you guys for everything! read more

My brother and I had been looking to buy used SUP's that were still in great condition but also wouldn't break the bank. Luckily, a friend of mine suggested we try going to Olympus and their service, quality and prices went above and beyond what we were looking for. My brother and I walked in about 15 minutes before they were closing (oops!) and they didn't rush us in the slightest! We must have been there for a good hour and a half and not once did they mention that they had technically already closed! They helped us choose the best boards for us, (they're literally incredible on the water) and got us set up with paddles and a soft rack! Not only did they help us get it loaded on to the top of my car, but they told us if we paid in cash, we wouldn't have to pay tax! PLEASE do yourself a favor and go to this all around incredible board shop before you go anywhere else! Ask for Brian to help you and he will go above and beyond with his knowledge and kindness. Jeremy, the owner is also an awesome dude. Our visit there was such a great time I'm already looking forward to our next visit. read more

Best boardshop I've gone to, hands down. Know all the equipment in their shop like the back of their hands, will give you the best recommendations possible and will spend time with you to make sure you end up with what is right for you. And the only stock their store with items they trust not just whatever big box brand want them to sell their products. Their tune ups are also top notch! Super affordable, great turnaround times and super slick on the mountain! With standard hot waxes starting at $10 they will help you take care of your board properly (actually waxing as often as you should) and get the most out of your trips. Great group of people, if you need equipment or a wax it should be from Olympus. read more

This place my go to! They always take good care of my boyfriend and I. Service and value is amazing. We definitely recommend!!!!

Just did a 2 hour paddle board lesson with Gino. Awesome and super chill guy, showed us the ropes. Definitely recommend checking them out if you're around Redondo Beach area. read more

Help support our local board shop! Hadn't gone snowboarding in 3-4 yrs. Wasn't sure what type of shape my board was in and I didn't know how much work I needed to have done on it. When I took it in, luckily the guy checking out my board said I only needed a wax. Everything else looked good! They didn't try to upsell me or trick me into getting stuff I didn't need done cuz I still am not an expert with that stuff. Just wish they would have called me to let me know the board was done. No worries....they seemed busy a few days before. read more

seriously the best place to rent boards from. My friends have always rented from here for at least 3 seasons and you seriously can't beat the price and service. I have my own board so i don't have to rent but i do come in with my friends and check out their gear and they have some cool stuff. the shop is tiny so if there's a bunch of you guys going, i'd recommend calling and maybe just telling them your shoe size and height so they can have your stuff ready while you fill out paperwork when you go in. For board, boots and binding, rentals are $25 and if you need pants, they also have snowpants available for you to rent too ($15 or $25?) Pay in cash! they don't charge you tax if you pay in cash. Also if you're planning to rent before a holiday or when there's a lot of fresh snow in the mountain, i'd recommend calling about a week ahead and putting your stuff on hold. if you've rented from them before, they have your info on file so you don't need to go in and try them on again. Trust me, rent from olympus! don't go to mt high and rent from there. it's more expensive and no guarantee that you'll get a rental and you need a $400 credit deposit. read more

Awesome shop! My husband and I went in to get him a snowboard and the two coolest dudes in there helped us out getting the perfect board. He was very informative and friendly. I think the best part was he was budget friendly and we could tell he wasn't just trying to sell the most expensive board and get us out. He really took his time helping us. We can't wait to try the gear out. We got an awesome deal too! Excited to come back for future equipment! read more

A group of 7 of us rented SUP boards with Jeremy this past weekend and we are so incredibly happy about choosing him for our first experience! The boards and equipment were all great but the customer service was amazing. This matters A LOT as there is fear involved. I was waiting to post a review until I had actually used my new board and bindings on snow (and not just on top of a towel in my living room.) i bought a board and bindings the day after thanksgiving, and they all worked out EXACTLY how they were described to me. I am kicking myself for not remember the name of the guy who helped me (will edit to add when I remember! Should've written it down), but he was so incredibly patient and helpful. I was replacing a nearly 25 year old set up, and he was able to explain the ways the technology had changed since then and the differences I'd feel with a new board. Every single thing he said (about it being more board, about the feel, etc.) was true. Didn't feel any pressure to buy -- was given plenty of options. It was a good experience overall, and I look forward to taking my business here in the future. I drove all the way from Glendale because of the reviews and was not disappointed. Only thing to note re covid: staff did not wear masks. I didn't ask them to put them on when I came in, so I can't judge whether or not they would've if I'd asked (my guess is probably? They were really nice dudes.) However, the back and front doors were open, and they gave me physical space. read more

Olympus board shop suck. adding to my disappointed in there service again. The P-tex repair I got done here failed after 2 days of powder riding? wtf? did they not wax it after? let it cool down maybe? or they just blow at it. I got a full service repair done for $59 and a free beer in Steamboat colorado to fix the shabby workmanship done at this shop. You would think it would be more expensive in a ski town like steamboat but no. Com paired to the $75 silver package at Olympus I would rather drive 1000 miles to have it done by someone who actually snowboards and knows what they are doing. F this place in the A read more
