This is my 4th time hiring Olympic as a property manager. Russ runs a great business. His crew of three showed up on time and ready to go. They did a walk thru with us to make sure we were all on the same page. The price was exactly as quoted and they were professional and careful with every piece of furniture. Wrapping and padding so as not to damage anything. We called them the Tetris Kings. How they loaded everything into that truck to make the most of the room was perfect!! They seemed to have a great system in place so as to most efficiently use their time. All I know is they were constantly moving and before I knew it, everything was moved from one place and delivered (perfectly intact) to the next place. The fact that they are licensed, insured, and provide their services in compliance with California state law (for example they wrap mattresses in plastic to prevent the transfer of bed bugs as required by state law). As a business owner this provides not only piece of mind, but is an absolute necessity to protect myself and my own business from potential litigation should an employee be injured while on our property. This is a small business, they may not have a large staff, but I will take quality over quantity of men any day. Olympic cares about their clients satisfaction with the service they provide. We had an item receive some damage and Russ went above and beyond my expectations to try and repair the piece. I chose not to purchase any additional moving insurance, so his efforts to make sure I was happy is a testament to why I like to work with a small family owned business. Olympic Movers was flexible with our schedule as our escrow was extended twice. I ended up doing more of my own packing and they simply took that amount off the total price. Since I paid by the hour I was able to save a lot of money using Olympic. You pay for what you need and I was able to save money by putting in my own time and effort to prepare. I was even able to move up my moving day and they really accommodated. I could tell my furniture was protected and treated with care. Communication and follow up was top notch. The moving crew work as a unit to get all of my belongings safely loaded, transported, and unloaded into my new home- this involved the disassembly and reassembly of several large bed sets and an ornate canopy bed. What the three men at Olympic did in just over eight hours I have had other moving companies take over two days! Omar, John, and Andrew are the best moving crew I have ever had and I will highly recommend them to anyone that needs to move. My baby grand piano was also moved by Olympic and they handled it with professionalism. Other estimates I received didn't even include moving my piano as they didn't offer that service. Olympic Move & Transport is the very best moving company I have used. I scheduled the move of my family's 4-bedroom house a short two days in advance and the owners, Russ and Regina had a crew ready to help us the morning of our move. The crew of 3 (John, Andrew and Omar) arrived promptly at 9am as requested, listened attentively as we discussed the furniture/boxes we planned to move that day and jumped straight to work prepping/wrapping/cushioning all furniture and loading up the large moving truck that Olympic provided. The guys worked non-stop for 3 hours and had all furniture and boxes neatly loaded and ready to make the short drive to our new house. Upon arrival at our new house all furniture and boxes were unloaded and moved (mostly upstairs) quickly and efficiently and our entire move was completed in under 6 hours! They were quick and easy. They did what I wanted them to do and protected my stuff. I had two locations because some of my stuff went to storage until my home closes escrow and Warren made sure the guys got everything lined up nicely and my stuff will be accessible to me while I'm in escrow. (hopefully not much longer) . They got it done without scratching the flooring in my old home and that was very important to me. I could have done most of the work myself but they made it so much quicker and easier for me I just let them do it all including putting my sons crib together and the ridiculously heavy king size fancy bed my wife just had to have. I am really happy that I let them do that because doing all that work for a temporary place would have been exhausting and I'll be using them again in less than sixty days I hope , they put a big dent in the honey do list so I can relax a little. They provide the truck and equipment so I didn't have to stress on renting it and having that liability (I can't afford to have anything go wrong while in escrow). I will recommend them. read more

My wife and I spent much time trying to choose a moving company. Luckily, we decided on Olympic Moving Services in Clovis. We first heard of this company through our storage facility (derrels). Our home sold very quickly and our new house in Pismo Beach was not completed so we had to move all our household goods to storage. Olympic Movers was easy to work with from the initial phone call (when Gina helped me schedule the moving day) through the end of the move to storage. The day of the move Warren, John and Russ arrived on time and were very courteous. They moved our stuff with care and worked very quickly. We had rented what we thought was a very large storage unit, but it was touch and go if everything would fit. Warren was amazing; he knew just how to stack furniture and boxes so that everything would fit safely. We for sure will use this company for the second phase of our move, when we finally make it to our new home in Pismo. Moving is always stressful, regardless of where or how much stuff you have. I've hired a mover on 4 different occasions, so I'm a bit of a vet. The main reason we decided on Olympic Move & Transport was due to their online reputation and the referrals we received from friends. My move was from LA to Clovis for a 3 bedroom home which required full packing, loading, crating, disassembly and reassembly of a treadmill, and a baby grand piano etc. My company paid for the move, so I did not want to spare any expense. They sent a 5 man crew who did an excellent job packing. The team was on time and very professional the whole way through. I purchased full replacement value insurance, but everything arrived at my new home with no damage or loss. My company also did not have to pay a penny more than what was quoted. We Absolutely love Olympic. They were professional, easy to talk to, and they were honest and upfront with us about pricing. I had called many moving companies who gave me really low time estimates. I was shocked to discover that Fresno county only has 6 licensed moving companies. Out of those 6 licensed companies Olympic had the best price. I appreciate honest down to earth people. I booked them one month in advance. I must have called with questions three or four times before the move date and Russ was always patient and kind. Then the move date came and I could not believe how great Warren and Ron were. So kind, patient, and friendly. Such professionals. They worked SO hard for so many hours. Our new home took some difficult maneuvering due to a tight stairwell, but they never complained or lost patience. They had a beautiful stunning new truck that was clean and organized. A locally family owned business that is definitely better then the competition. We have used this company twice and both times were outstanding. The two people that moved me were Shane and Omar and they were outstanding hard working workers. They busted their butts to make sure I was moved in as quick as possible. While being time effective they are very thoughtful of your belongings. They even took apart my beds, dressers, and computer desk, and took care of my TV without a hasle. Olympic Move and Transport just moved my father's antique piano across the state. I was nervous, not knowing what to expect. The crew showed up right on time, took SO MUCH care wrapping and padding the piano. They were very careful getting it on the truck. They added more padding and strapping to secure it for the move. They arrived 20 minutes after us at the destination and were so careful (and strong!) as they maneuvered the piano up some stairs and across an old oak floor. I have used Olympic Movers 2 times, both times I was impressed with their availability, customer service and prices! I like to go out to bid when hiring a vender, this last move I called 3 companies, I was quoted $900.00 and they were not available for an immediate move. The 2nd company didn't call me back until a day later. Olympic Movers charged $600.00 and they could do it within 3 days after I called! This included moving a piano!
