They goofed off much of the day, according to my neighbor--although I thought one of the young men at least tried. They did not understand what Artemio and I had agreed on a few days prior. Finally, after about 5 hours, they called Artemio when my frustration rose up, and he denied several additional tasks that he and I had agreed on, including pressure washing my chimney top from the roof, and cleaning out my downspouts. They did end up cleaning my chimney top, using my own pressure washer, because they had not brought one. My house walls are covered in dirt from the roof cleaning, especially my front porch area. I was dismayed to find they had collected many piles of leaves from my driveway, which I had been saving for mulch. Even after I asked them to stop doing that, they still took away all my leaves! Now I will have to buy about $100 of mulch. They were supposed to wash my upper windows that I cannot reach. After they left, I discovered that my dirtiest upper window, which is the most visible upon approaching the front door, is still filthy. Instead they washed 2nd story windows from my porch and deck that I said I could clean. On top of it all, Artemio rudely told me I am "crazy." And today, I met with a professional roof cleaner to see about cleaning my downspouts. He showed me what a poor roof cleaning job I got from Perez Landscaping. I asked him about the stiff wire hand brushes they used, in addition to the typical brush brooms I've seen before. He told me those wire hand brushes could have loosened the granules in my roofing, and he also showed me places where the shingles had lifted up. Pretty disappointing. Perhaps the experience would have been much improved if I could speak Guatemalan, or if Artemio had been here to supervise and communicate. I will not call him again.

I'm greatly impressed with their work. The pressure washing was done flawlessly. There was an noticeable difference on my driveway(see pic). It's also really affordable. Of course, no company is perfect. So what I didn't like all too much was how I wasn't notified when there's a cancellation on mowings. I had to email them to ask. But they do respond to the email quickly. It'd just be nice if I stay in the loop. Overall, Hired does an outstanding job. I honestly don't know of a company that's better and cheaper. I highly recommend them.

Chris came very highly recommended from a co-worker so after talking to two other landscape companies I hired Chris on the spot. Chris has done an amazing job & has been extremely punctional other than 2 weeks or so ago he had a family emergency which was more important and he did text me to let me know he would be off for a few days helping with his son. The rebuild was a huge task- SWF handled it all- electric, insulation, drywall, painting, tiling, appliance installs, cabinet install, and did an enormous amount of cedar trim and finish carpentry- and helped us coordinate subcontractors as well. Our house was lovingly hand built 30 years ago and SWF really worked hard to honor that and bring us back to functional and aesthetic value. I had been referred to this company by two of our neighbors who were generally satisfied with the quality of work. Both neighbors warned us about the job-site manner of the owner, Tim Bailey. The project lasted about one month, and I was initially impressed with how Bailey handled the site preparation using his mini-excavator and how he worked through several construction challenges we ran into. However, I was immediately put off by, in my opinion, his excessive use of bad language and how he treated his employees. He was so loud and disruptive that eventually two of our nearby neighbors complained about it to us. In the end, I asked him to leave my property before the job was complete because I had hit my limit on what I was willing to tolerate as acceptable behavior on my property. Although the job was not finished, I paid him the full amount of the contract and was more than willing to incur the additional costs to complete the project in order to get out from under the stress, the drama, the foul language, what I consider to be verbal abuse and general mistreatment of his employees and the overall disruption on my property.
