GEN KOREAN BBQ @ SOUTHCENTER MALL…read more Parking is super easy at this location since it's in the Southcenter Mall, with plenty of free parking available. We found a spot right out front, and it's nice that you can also walk around the mall before or after your meal since there are lots of other shops and restaurants nearby. This was my first time trying JEN Korean BBQ with my family, and I was excited since I'd heard they have several locations across the U.S. We came for dinner, which is about $35 per person for the all-you-can-eat menu, while weekday lunch is around $25 per person, making it a great value if you're looking for AYCE Korean BBQ. They have a great selection of meats, plus plenty of appetizers. The corn cheese was definitely one of my favorites and is always a must-order for me. Everything came out fresh, and there were lots of options to choose from. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick to bring out refills. I also really liked the ambiance the darker interior gives the restaurant a cozy, modern feel that's perfect for enjoying a meal with family or friends. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely come back. If you enjoy Korean BBQ, this is a fun spot where you can cook your own food, try a variety of meats and sides, and eat as much as you want. It's a great place for groups, family dinners, or anyone craving all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ.

Meats: meat quality is good depending what you get. All the meats were good this time but still hit or miss. Service: service improved alot since i last visited, but unfortunately, leaving on a sour note. S/o to my server Angelica and the other food runners. Their service was spectacular. BUT..... i noticed the hosts will come back and checkout to pay. This host Alina, was rushing me out. I wasn't over the eating time limit either. I also had to pay with a giftcard which had ro be verified and done through a manager, she came back and asked if i wanted a receipt and i said yes. She said "okay we can get that for you at the door" I could barely collect my items to leave and she comes back annoyed and shoves the receipt in my hand. The restaurant didn't seem that busy to be rushing me out and i enjoyed my dining experience up until that interaction. From that host, i wouldn't feel great or welcome as a solo diner. I find it really disappointing. I want to emphasize BIG shoutout to my server though!

Upon checking in everyone gets a welcome glass of wine, white, red or rose. I love that small touch, especially because they're centered in WA wine country. The room was huge, included a soaking tub and separate shower area. We had a working fire place and a gorgeous balcony where a humming bird greeted me in the morning. I felt like a Disney princess baby! The grounds are gorgeous and there are a ton of spaces to rest, sit, explore, sit among wild flowers and fountains. I read a book in the warm sun, feet up on a bench among wild flowers. I also enjoyed the restaurant in premise and had a long luxurious soak in the hot tub. I loved the plush robes in the rooms and you can customize your shower experience by adjusting the temperature yourself. I loved every bit of my overnight stay with my 2 besties. We split one night and paid about $115 bucks each which made the room about $345 give or take. We had 2 comfy beds in the room and plenty of space! I had a fabulous time and loved that we were able to winery/vineyard and restaurant hop in close proximity of our lodge!

There was no one there to greet us and looked like that they were still getting the dining room ready. The hostess did not come out until five minutes before seating time. I was kind of disappointed since this was supposed to be a special Easter brunch, but there was nothing to indicate that this was for Easter other than a few of the desserts. No Easter bunny, there are a couple Easter egg decorations on every table, but that was about it. Still, the ambience was good, a fancy brunch at a fancy hotel. The wait staff provided excellent service. The food was provided in a pretty good spread. The prime rib and the fresh oysters were probably the standout of the food. I don't know why they only have one person with two tiny hot plates to man the made to order station there for everyone. The family did like the desserts, they were very cute. My wife thought that they were too sweet, but that just means I like them a lot. All in all, it was a good brunch to experience once for a special occasion. No huge complaints here.
